Made an appointment for a couples massage 5 days in advance and they cancel it 4 HOURS before my appointment. Absolutely unacceptable. My entire plans for my anniversary are uprooted. They called my partner instead of me! I call for an explanation and to cancel and I get no answer besides “We don’t have a massage therapist for you today.” Stay far away from this place if you have important plans.

This was amazing. Best experience ever. They are so accommodating and go above and beyond. I got a fully body massage and it was amazing. So relaxing. The environment was so soothing and peaceful.

This was my second time coming and my experience was poor this time. The lady that did my facial did not give me product suggestions and didn’t appear to be listening when I told her my concerns about my skin. I was told “I’m going to email you the products that will help with your issues”. I never got an email… when it was time for my massage the room was HOT when I asked about lowering the AC I was told that I’m the second person with this complaint and they don’t know where the thermostat is?!? If the price tag wasn’t so high this would be okay. I expect premium service for the premium price tag. I will be going elsewhere.

Talk about having zero regard for your neighbors. You hire a crew to change your floors at night so you don’t lose business during the day, but this is a residential building and people can’t sleep because the hammering noises travel through the entire structure and run a saw outside all night…

Another relaxing day at the spa! So glad I have a membership there. Finally took the hubby, and now we shall make it our monthly destress destination!! Love love the time we have together in the lounge prior to our massage-sipping on warm tea! The shower room has a lemongrass chamomile body soap that relaxes me even more. A different masseuse attended me today and they were spot on as well!

I had a fantastic mani/pedi with Thy last week. The coco shea butter treatment was such a relaxing add-on. I used the noise-cancelling headphones and the weighted eye mask, so I was able to completely relax. I will never go anywhere else!

If you want THE BEST nail service, you need to book with Nikki Pizza. Aside from being so gentle & meticulous. She makes the whole service SUPER relaxing. My nails looked INCREDIBLE & so did my skin. Smooth & soft as a baby’s bottom. I’m very picky when it comes to nails because I’m very sensitive but, not only was she super thorough with everything she did, she was SO gentle. Thanks again Nikki!!!

I highly recommend Ernest at Hiatus Spa! I came in with extremely sore and painful muscles from playing pickleball, to the point where I couldn't move my neck for several days and couldn't sleep at night. After just one session with Ernest, he worked absolute miracles. I’ve now had two sessions, and I feel better each time. His expertise, technique, and care are truly unmatched. If you're in need of relief and exceptional massage therapy, Ernest is your guy!

Absolute best mani pedi experience of my life. The nails came out cute, but honestly the vibe was the best part. I got to spend an hour and a half listening to my audiobook with a weighted mask over my eyes, fully reclined and checked out while my nails were taken care of. No talking required after picking the colors. It was heaven (and Leslie was amazing.)

Hard to find with just the address they provide. They better send a pin. One of the massage was good, the other very much below average. Surprising given that this place is recommended by Emma hotel. No wet areas. So you just go for the treatment and that’s it. Quality: money very low.

I went in for a last minute facial and absolutely loved my experience with Jenna. She was so wonderful, professional, educated, and just an overall a bright and warm person! This place is irresponsible and negligent with clients. My friend visited this spa after a workout to relax and unwind. She received the hot stone massage and during the massage she realized the stone were a little to hot after a few seconds and asked them to be removed. After the massage she realized that she has burns on her back, in which she had to go to the ER to get treated.

Honestly I enjoyed coming here, I was a little disappointed for the membership you had to do it for a full year before you can cancel, not much of an issue tho. I had to do a last minute cancellation because I lost my debit card and ID, somebody found it and I had to drive back out of town to pick it up before they left but I have to get charged half the price of the service for same day cancellation. I have made it to all of my appointments and have even been okay with them calling to reschedule my already set appts but I couldn’t get 1 courtesy. How else was I going to be able to pay? I also have to show them my ID before going in which I didn’t have. Disappointing to pay for a membership and have to pay more for something that happened unexpectedly. I guess I should’ve read more reviews on their services before signing up for their membership. You’re just a customer and all they want is your money, they don’t try to build a relationship or show they care with their members.. I’m just gonna go back to the place I was at before. I’d rather give them my business than this place. Never again

I had an amazing experience with Melissa, their injector! This is my 5th time getting a neurotoxin and I decided on Dysport (I did Botox previously). I had a great experience and just 2 days later, I’m already seeing the results! I highly recommend Melissa and Hiatus Spa :)

My husband booked me a Mother’s Day special. I love visiting spas around our new city so I was excited. I arrived, got my robe, they don’t offer beverages. The place was a little dirty in the common areas. Services: I had a massage, facial, and mani/pedi. Last minute they cancelled and rescheduled the facial. The massage was ok if you like a back rub with aggressive shoulder pokes. Very choppy! It just didn’t seem like she knew the anatomy of the body. Then I had a huge gap because they cancelled the facial omw. I was annoyed because I originally wanted my services broken up but since it was a Mother’s Day package they weren’t able to do that. But they could cancel my facial last minute. I decided to overlook it because thankfully, it’s at the Pearl! I went to get my mani and pedi done and she starts by saying there’s no time for my massage and we have to make it “quick.” In between steps she’d check her phone which grossed me out too. Like why are you touching the nastiest thing we carry then touching me? As for the massage, I told her lucky for her I’m not much for foot and hand massages but at the spots I usually hit up they at least make up for that. It just felt cheap, dirty, and sleazy. I’d gladly pay for a service but it didn’t feel luxurious. It didn’t even feel clean😢 The mani quality was terrible, the pedicure was nice. I was hoping for service quality since it was at the Pearl Now I have to go back for my facial and I’m not even that excited about it. Just thought people should know because I’ve visited other spas and they are not this pricey. I usually have to ask for no scrubbing and massage and I’d like to reiterate that I know I don’t enjoy this portion of the service but the manicurist was imo rude about it and kind of rushing me. The lack of cleanliness irritated me. On top of me not being able to separate my services but they can reschedule me last minute was too much too ignore. I appreciate good service. Kind of unfortunate because the Pearl is so nice and fun to be at, I was hoping it would be my new go to spa. Update: Niki reached out to me and was very apologetic. She wanted to make sure I was happy and I told her I would go into my facial with new eyes. I did go to the newer location which did feel less crowded, cleaner and more open. If you go I’d suggest this one and I did like my facial, it was done by Kaylee. They offered me things as an apology but Niki’s call meant more to me and I wanted to judge it for what I came for which was a basic facial. Regardless, Kaylee did do this little machine I think it was called Nu face and I didn’t notice much of a difference. Apparently a $15 add on fee. I don’t think I’d get it. I was however very interested in the hydration facial she was describing to me (clears pores out and moistures) so if I don’t find anyone else in town I may check that out. I will say Kaylee was very knowledgeable. I am not sure if I would go for the massage and mani/pedi but I did enjoy the facial at the newer location (it’s still inside the Pearl area). Due to Niki’s Customer service call I bumped up my rating up two stars (initially I had one star for the mani/pedi deal and cleanliness). I do realize things happen but at the price point I can’t over look it. I do think it was nice of Niki to call me. I feel bad for writing this but like I said it’s pricey and I am not sure I would’ve gotten a call if not for the review because I did mention it up front before leaving and the call did not come in until after the review. I also did sense her wanting to make things right by calling and so I would say customer service was there. Not only that she was easy to talk to despite how awkward the subject was. Kaylee was wonderful I actually like the facial and would go back to her. The facial, it did not feel choppy it felt like she had done it for a long time and everything was smooth, I do wish there was more focus on the extractions but I did enjoy it. If anything I would definitely go back to see her for that hydro facial. (Pic is the newer building common wait area - very clean)

During our staycation at the Hotel Emma we booked a couples massage at Hiatus. We had a great time, it was super relaxing and came out feeling rejuvenated.

I had the best massage ever from Mike. Wow, when he could tell everything about me from my knots was amazing, sleeping on my side, my migraines etc and took real care of me to get them out and have me feeling amazing. 110/10 I highly recommend.

To Whom read this... Please do not come here. Believe me! It's not worth the time and money. The spa is small and Very LOUD! Front Desk Ladies, are rude and for a UP SCALE SPA. They dress very messy. I would recommend the " Woodhouse Spa" or " La Contera Spa".

I had a session with Ernest for body retreat with Body Scrub and Gua Sha. It was a very new experience which I highly recommend. Thank you Ernest. It elevated my mood and was happier. It gave me a spring of energy too.

Staffing is terrible. The spa itself has always been enjoyable, however, my appointments have been canceled or modified more times than I can count over the past year due to poor staffing. I pay monthly for a membership. The membership credits expire after a couple months which is fine but the fact that my appointments consistently get canceled due to “ a family emergency” jeopardizes my credits. On Saturday June 22, 2024, I was scheduled for the “change your life hydrafacial” at 07:30. My esthetician arrived 53 minutes late for our appointment. I was notified 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time that my esthetician was running late. The manager offered me a free add on for the inconvenience. This was about the 5th time I was offered a free $10 upgrade due to an “inconvenience” caused by the spas staff. This was completely unacceptable. The first four or so staffing issues I had been subjected to, I accepted and was forgiving but this past time was absolutely ridiculous. I am paying for a $250 service. A $10 free add on is not acceptable. I was the told that I could stay and wait for my esthetician to arrive but that my appointment was then to be reduced to a shorter facial service. When the esthetician arrived 53 minutes late, all they could say was “Thank you for waiting for me.” Anytime I try calling the spa, no one ever answers. I have called 8 times today without being able to speak with anyone. There are certain services that require clients to call to schedule instead of being able to book online. I have a credit that expires in a couple of weeks (which I would have redeemed at the beginning of June but yet again, my nail service was canceled due to a “personal emergency”). At this point, I only continue with my membership because of two staff members who have always provided consistent service. Shout out to Ashley G. in the nail area and Melissa in the MedSpa who have always been phenomenal!
