The staff at Hideaway Spa is friendly and accommodating. Taylor did an excellent job on my Face and Back facials! So very relaxing and she didn’t constantly try to upsale me. Would absolutely recommend!

Cynthia was amazing! Her hands are as soft as velvet! LOL I did a Hydrafacial and the whole process was so relaxing. My skin feels so good and looks so bright. I can’t wait to go back!

I have to say I am completely turned off by the “policy” of needing my credit card to hold an appointment. I’ve been a customer for the duration this place has been open. Yet each appointment I am treated as a stranger. Also they want the expiration and ccv number. I really despise this. I offered to provide CCV upon my arrival and she was quick to tell me no- without it we won’t hold your appointment. Seems like a nice place but this practice is a huge downgrade I have been been a long-time customer of the Hideaway Spa. Having lived at one time in the piñon Park neighborhood just behind the spa, I became a repeat customer years ago. We went for a couple massage on Saturday 2/28/21. The massage was nice overall. Some observations; The spa had changed quite a bit since I had been there, they have completely remodeled and it just was not to my preference. The room where our massage took place had one wall that did not go all the way to the top. This allowed too much light and sound into the room causing the massage to be less than completely relaxing. There was a ceiling fan whipping around cold air even after I requested them to put it on low. They have relocated The hairstylist to the rear of the shop causing much more sound and traffic down the hallways again, less relaxing. Seemed strange because the room where the hairstylist were once located had a bunch of clothes in it that no one was looking at. This spa has one restroom. As in one single toilet which seems very strange with this many female employees and customers coming through, there was a line to use the restroom. Also, the male owner or co-owner was in the lobby having a long, long personal conversation with a female friend about a mutual friend. They removed their masks and chatted about for more than 15 minutes while people waited for their appointments. This was not only unprofessional but crowded an area that did not need additional people in a small space during Covid times. He should have had the awareness to take his personal conversation outdoors with this small stature blonde woman, talking about a mutual police officer friend.. i’m sure I will probably go back but it just is not the place I came to love years ago. It used to be a nice high end place. This time I was greeted by someone with purple hair covered in tattoos. Say what you’d like but first impressions matter. It was my husbands first time here and I was a little embarrassed to have brought him.

I really love this spa. The owners are concerned with improving the business to meet the needs of everyone in our area. From teens to grandmoms, men and women. The proof is that they have maintained a professional staff and retained skilled and knowledgeable estheticians and cosmetologists. I am a huge fan of their facials and add-ons. Love the brow make-over. They are so much more than hair and nails and it appears they are adding space for more spa treatments. I love this because I trust them. I should have given them great reviews every time I've visited over the years so I want everyone to know they will get value beyond their expectations. Also I love the gift certificates! For someone who has everything!

I was recently scheduled at this hair salon to have my hair permed. I had great expectations. Instead of being pleased with the results I am destined to live several months of displeasure. Perms are risky to be sure. The thing that went wrong was that the nice lady, cut my hair before she permed it. I thought it odd, but I went along with it because I trusted her. My hair was all one length and I expected the ends to be cut after the perm. That would have been preferable. I could have worked with that. I don’t know what to do with what I’ve got. Lump it and learn. I won’t return. Don’t let them cut your hair first. They’ll ruin it.

This is a mixed review… I love this salon for waxing they are excellent! However I got my haircut for the first time and the technician did not do as I asked. All I wanted was a blunt hair cut with minimal shaping on the ends. She was very thorough and the washing was wonderful. But she cut large layers on only one side of my part. It’s manageable but not what I asked for

The staff is so attentive and it feels very upscale. I have heavy wavy hair, but Esther gave me beautiful layers and modern angles and made sure I was happy with every step. My favorite cuts have been from Hide Away.

Hideaway Spa is beyond amazing. I have been going to specifically, Cynthia for years for lashes, facials and other services. She is highly skilled and so personable. Everyone there actually is so kind and considerate. I can’t express how much I love their services and team. Definitely 10/10!!!!!🤍

They ruined my hair! Cheap hair products. They told me the person had yrs of experience. She told me she just got her license. She got dye and the chemical to remove dye in the face in my eyes. I had to put my eyes in water at the sink. I had to pay someone else to fix the mess. She also burned my scalp .

….was coming to website to see how much my new service was and realized I haven’t thought to leave a review! I have consistently gone here for lashes, wax, spray tans, Dermplane, facials, and anything Cynthia can do, since at least, August 2021. I have never once been treated with anything but over the top hospitality walking in- to leaving. I’ve very honestly never been disappointed for my lashes. I LOVE the boutique in there to shop around at! I’ve never waited more than MAYBE two/three minutes for my appointments. Never once had a canceled one or emergency. Never questioned cost. Very consistent with cost of lashes. I only say that bc I see many people asking what the cost of fill is or if the cost changes. I’ve never had any issue like this. I believe I’ve had to go in for a touch up but Cynthia didn’t charge me for a full refill? Obviously. So if that’s a worry, this place is full of honest realistic people doing these services and is something I would not worry about! With my lashes, I go from heavy- I’m going to Mexico cave diving to just a light natural look. Without asking/even realizing, Cynthia, has anyways considered any events I was going to and automatically took into consideration with doing my lashes. After so long of doing lashes obviously we’ve developed more of a friendship but I remember searching for someone and wondering where I could go consistently, not have trouble getting in and left looking crazy, good products, or most of all being clean -I’ve seen horrible outcomes from bad lashes!! I can assure you everything in this place is very well kept and clean. Also adding, the one time I could not get in for my lashes at the drop of a pin with Cynthia, I used someone else and she did great!! Cynthias availability recently opened up a lot and idk if it’s good to share!! I feel lucky how I have it! There were experienced and sweet ladies that did great on my eye brows ( I have a lot ) and facials. Cynthia now does my eyebrows and lashes at same time. Cynthia’s spray tans are perfect. Even bought the mitten and stuff for home and it was worth it all. Not something I can say about spray tans in my past….or buying the product. It ends up getting tossed a few years later…now I stoped tanning and Cynthia takes care of me! Also, Cynthia is doing Dermplane for me and I’m addicted! My face is very full of the blonde fuzzies and this made me feel so fresh, and makeup went on so well! It’s well worth to add to your self care budget! Cynthia does super neat things I haven’t tried! I haven’t tried permanent makeup but personally have, seen and heard, she does a great job!! Especially when I hear she does her own family, still they don’t have to come to her for a service, but they do! This is a family owned business-and its shows!!! Everyone and everything has been nothing short of 5 starts. If you don’t need it definitely a phenomenal gift for literally anyone.

My experience at Hideaway Spa & Salon was nearly flawless, with one small hiccup that truly showcased the professionalism and understanding of the staff. Unfortunately, my appointment had to be canceled due to a massage therapist being unable to come in. However, rather than being frustrated, I was impressed by how the situation was handled. Carlos, the manager, personally reached out to inform me of the situation and promptly offered me two options: to choose from a facial that day or receive a discount on the service I was originally scheduled for. His sincerity and willingness to accommodate the unexpected circumstance were truly appreciated. To those who might find such occurrences frustrating, I say this: life happens, and if you can't understand that, then you're simply missing out on the bigger picture. The staff at Hideaway Spa & Salon understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and they handle them with grace and professionalism. This level of understanding and flexibility speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. So, while my initial appointment may have been postponed, I have no doubt that my future visits to Hideaway Spa & Salon will be just as exceptional. My mom and I had scheduled separate massages for 04/27 at 10:15 a.m. She was scheduled with Michelle and my massage was with Alma. At 9:15 a.m. the receptionist contacted me to let me know that massuesse had called in sick today and offered me a facial in lieu of the inconvenience. I declined because a massage was what I was needing. Carlos, the "manager", contacted me after and told me the same thing as the receptionist and offered a discount for another service at a later date. My mom went in for her scheduled massage at 10:15 and was surprised to see a young girl waiting for her. The girl was Alma! My mom mentioned that I was supposed to have Alma and she was told that Michelle had called in sick. My mom was frustrated and even mentioned to Carlos that had it been told what therapist had called in, she would have given her appointment to me because I was in much need of one and needed it more then she did. After finding this out, I contacted Carlos and told him that the lack of communication and attention to detail of my appointment today was not acceptable. He said that he moved the appointments so when the receptionist called me she was not aware that I had Alma when she called. He also mentioned that he didn't want to call my mom because he didn't want to make 2 different phone calls. Had he called my mom, who was the one to make the appointments and mentioned the massuesse that was out, there would have not been any issues. He said he moved the appointments but how could that have been possible when both appointments had been made for the same time (10:15) with two different therapists? When he moved my mom's appointment with Alma, he should have seen that Alma was already confirmed with another guest. I will not be returning to this salon. The fact that there was miscommunication with the receptionist and myself from Carlos, the lack of attention to detail from both the receptionist and Carlos and the fact that Carlos continued to not understand that my appointment should not have been cancelled and began making excuses and arguing why things were handled like they were was very unprofessional.

My wife hyped this place up to me and today was going to be my first time going here. First they reschedule my time then they call ne 30 minutes before i was supposed to go and say all their employees are sick and one is having car troubles and cant reschedule for today but offer me a discounted facial. I have a pinched nerve in my back and needed something today, i dont need a facial. This place is very flakey, i will never go here again and my wife who was a repeat customer says she wont be going here anymore either.

I've been coming to Hide Away for about 10 years. The people who work there are kind and helpful, and I enjoy the atmosphere of the Lake Worth location. The spa has a small business/family owned vibe that other spas I've been to do not have. I also find that the prices are reasonable and the services are worth their cost.

12/5: I never received an email from anyone at the spa or I wouldn't have taken time to write a review. What's done is done. _________________________________________ Let me start this survey by saying Sabrina is amazing. I am a customer because she is a wonderful massage therapist and I've been going to her since 2020. Here's what has been frustrating. I had an issue with a GC I purchased for my fiancé for father's day this year. When I purchased it, I made sure to include the tip. Who gives someone a gift and doesn't include the tip? Not me. Plus this is my second year to purchase the exact same massage package. He redeemed it a month or so ago and was told that the tip was not included AND he couldn't use the remaining balance on the GC towards the tip... Ummmm. what? It was already paid for AND now I have a balance on his account (which we won't use). He came home and told me and I was so embarrased he had to go get cash out of his car to tip the therapist. This was a GIFT to him for being an amazing father. I didn't want him to cover a dime. Before I would ever post a review about a business, I first try & reach out to resolve the issue without social media. It's been weeks since I submitted a message on the website and have had no response. It's just sad because now I have to find a new spot for facials and massages when I was perfectly intent on remaining a customer as long as I could resolve this issue.

Based on my visits to The Hide Away Spa..... Hideaway is incredible at making clients feel welcome and comfortable from walking through the door to checking out, and scheduling additional appointments. The staff are friendly and in touch with their clients, listening to their personal needs and desires. I have found this to be true, whether I am getting a massage, my hair done, or manicure and pedicure. I have recommended Hide Away Spa to many and will continue to do so.

I have visited this salon for a pedicure and a haircut and style and have had nothing but a positive experience overall. Staff is friendly, understanding, and timely. Especially Esther, who is the sweetest stylist I have ever had. She listens to you, and is very detail-oriented. I didn’t even show her a picture because I just wanted a fairly straightforward cut, nothing trendy, and she delivered. The pedicure was a while ago, but it was also a nice experience—will be doing that again.
