Been going here to Angie for over 15 years! Incredible haircut for my short pixie style. I would be lost without her! This place is a Hollywood staple and super popular among the locals. A good friend recommended I get my hair cut here by Esther, as he has been her customer for many years. Esther is amazing! I showed her a photo of a fairly complicated asymmetrical pixie type haircut - a big change for me after a grow out period- and she replicated it with precision and grace, making minor and thoughtful adjustments for my face shape. I couldn’t be happier with the beautiful results. I’ve been trying for decades to get the best version of this haircut where it doesn’t require styling and product to look good and Esther made it happen quickly. Everyone in this salon is talented and so friendly. Great prices too. I will definitely return!

High Life Hair at Gower and Hollywood is the best hair salon I've ever known in my life! They only charged me: $20 for a haircut, $45 for a color, and $50 for a perm!!!! They did an excellent job! BE SURE TO TIP THEM AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! THANK YOU! ❤💐🏆Andrea. Only $30 for a setting to look like a classic movie star! They're the BEST! THANK YOU!

A very good hairdresser. The stuff is very friendly. Familybusiness I assume. My hair is very thin and was treated so well. Very good and nice trimming of my ends. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended .

Found this place on Google map, my girlfriend needed hair done, They ruined her hair, there was pieces of hair coming off.. the woman kept calling someone on the phone and we tried explaining that please just stop and rinse whatever she put on.., she kept saying "is ok, is ok" and I said NO!! Stop and just rinse off... more chunks of hair fell off and my girlfriend completely shut down and couldn't believe this just happened.. we trusted the reviews but I think it's mostly people who got hair Cut only or mostly men, WOMEN: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ANY HAIR TREATMENTS!, I think the person running this place just hires anyone and guides them over the phone on what to do. Very unprofessional, there is also a language barrier so be prepared for that. We showed a picture of what we wanted but still did not help. I regret coming here, my girlfriend is still depressed.., I can't believe the woman suggested we come back so she can fix.. I TOLD HER YOU CANT FIX CHUNKS OF HAIR COMING OFF, it will take months to FIX! Grow back.

What a fascinating group of stylist! I’ve been a customer for over 6 months. Though I’ve moved 20 miles away, I still come here. The price is unbeatable, the quality of the haircuts are upscale, and the service is always warm and welcoming. I use Hannah as my hairstylist. She’s absolutely amazing!!! I totally recommend this place.

Called same-day and they were able to take me in for a haircut half an hour after I called. Hannah was wonderful and gave me a healthy, reviving haircut. The price is perfect for someone like myself who can't afford $100+ haircuts. I think I've found my new haircut place!

I went here with some guy friends while on vacation. The ladies working that day were very friendly :) They were very cheerful and brightened our days! The hair cuts were also amazing! I’m sure my friend’s wives will be very happy with the condition in which I returned their husbands. Honestly one of the highlights of the whole trip.

If you have a lot of hair and curly don’t even think to come here, the young lady want to do the less work she can and She doesn’t care at all if you are satisfied with the blow dry or not. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service, the other lady is nice but anyway She support her employee. I paid $40 for the worst blow dry in my entire life!
