My son came in to get a fade and his hair trimmed up, he left with a complete mess that I had to take elsewhere to fix. Had I known exactly how bad it was when we left I would have said something however my child didn't see that back and the side that was really messed up was covered. I didn't see how uneven and horrible it actually was till we went outside in the sun. We have been going here for a while and he usually loves his hair. We got someone different today and it was a complete disaster over an hour for the actual cut that was prally due to the fact that he was trying to fix a mess up that he in the end couldn't fix. Words of advice if you choose to go here watch what barber you get.

I always go to this haircut place is closer to my house and I never had a problem until now he didn't want to see my kid. the guy told us he closing but that is and hour early I always leave a tip.. so now I'm taking my kid someone else..

Jamar did me right. His cuts are crisp and accurate i left the barber studio with a filly symmetrical haircut, also the overall atmosphere is positive, overall a top notch barber studio.

First time customer to higher design and I can say that I will be back again. Earl was my barber and did a fantastic job with my haircut. He took his time made sure that I was happy with the length of the cut. I will definitely be coming back again. If you need a hair cut make sure to book earl he will hook you up.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and it never disappoints! My man Earl hooks me up everytime and makes sure that i look and feel fresh. overall all the barbers are super chill and it’s a good environment. I really recommend earl for ya next cut!!

How did I know I was gonna get a great haircut? When Dervin didn't just start cutting my hair but instead took the time to part it, find layers, actually TAKING HIS TIME! Second, the tools. Instead of some big bulky cheap clippers, these guys are invested in their trade. High end tools. Dervin did my hair. Straight fire. I've never had a good haircut as this. I was PLEASENTLY suprised by how meticulous a job Dervin did. And it only cost 30 bucks for hair and face? I had to tip fat for all these reasons.

I had my hair cut today and had a great experience. high standard of cleanliness was maintained in the studio and all equipment. Mr. Kelvin H is a very professional and respectful employee. Very Positives attitude by all team members.

First 2 times was decent now 3 hours sitting as people got seen before me is crazy didn’t even get my cut so I left highly disappointed

Friendly staff & chill environment. I’m not from this area but whenever I am down here, I always stop by. Solomon always does a great job, not only in the haircut itself, but making me feel welcomed. My bro only gets his cuts from Urie, since he’s picky with his hair.

Higher Design is very good with kids, and it's nice that they have more available hours for haircuts. This is the 3rd location I've brought my sons too, and this place has been their favorite.

I brought my 3 sons here a few weeks back and was impressed with the cuts. Corey took care of them, he did great! I brought my husband in and they cleaned him up nicely! This place is always busy and all the guys interact with all the clients. Highly recommend this place!

Jamar cut my son's hair and honestly it's THE best haircut he has ever gotten! He was very polite, he took his time & asked questions about what kind of cut he wanted. He did a fantastic job! Mom and son are both happy! I would highly recommend this barber shop to anyone. I feel like we finally found our barber! Thanks for the great service!

Not really much of a wait time which was nice, guy wasn't super friendly which made my first experience in a barber shop a little awkward. I ended up going to SportsClips in West York to get it fixed and the ladies there were really nice about it and even gave me a discount. I think my experience may have been different with one of the other barbers.

The Manager apparently cut my son's hair last week while I was working at the mall. His Father took him,and I absolutely have no words for the worst haircut I've ever seen. My son's hair was long,this 'manager' straight cut off his hair in an odd mullet bowl cut,and apparently hurt his neck with clippers. My son is 10,I've got to go get this mess fixed,and whomever is the white beard hairstylist,hang it up,or stick with fades. I'm so sorry for my son, I should have been there,but I'm also sorry my significant other apparently paid you for this disaster.
