I really enjoyed going to Cyndi here at Highly Favored Beauty Salon. She is very nice, pleasant, quick & thorough. My head & hair feels good when I leave her shop :) It took awhile to find someone like her. She did my crochet bohemian goddess locs & I love them. Thank you Cyndi. She's now my go to stylist! 🙌🏽💖

Briante and Meka are AMAZING. They have been doing my hair for years. They are friendly and professional. I always love my hair. Braids, weaves, ponytails, monthly trims! They are the best💛💛💛

I have been going to Highly favored for years. Briantae is the BEST!!! I'm never disappointed when she does my hair and my daughters hair. She's very professional and has such a kind personality and always works around your schedule. Her work is very neat and you can tell hair is her passion. Everywhere I go they always ask "who did your hair?". I rate her a 10/10!!!!

I paid $260 for Small Knotless Box Braids, but Elizabeth Featherstone admitted that she gave me Medium Knotless Box Braids. When I kindly asked for the $70 back, she refused to give it back to me and blocked my phone number. If she said that she was going through a hard time and really needed the money, I probably would have let her have it, but it's about the principle. I paid $260 for a style that I did not even receive. She gave me a style that was worth $190. Why would you keep the $70 difference? She is honestly really lucky that I didn't file a police report or sue, which is something I can still do. I have the messages between us. This is actually really disappointing to see from a Black business. I am not even from LA and wanted to find a salon that could do good work. For anyone looking to find a hair salon, do not go here. Do not be fooled by the good ratings like I was.

I went with a friend to get her hair done. Cyndi is an amazing and talented hair braider. If we could give her a million 🌟 we would. As for the establishment very clean and professional. We would highly recommend this establishment

My experience was whatever?! I felt that Briantae was very nice but she could have done a better job dipping my hair and or put mousse/ oil on it?! Like for $180, I expected all of that?! And this is why I’m don’t like going to hair salons now because you have to deal with unprofessional stylists who think the world rises & sets on they a**!! And swear up & down they the best and been doing hair for YEARS?? But you can’t dip correctly, okay!! I love my hair but I didn’t like that she started rushing towards the end!! And also I thought I lost my phone which is still a mystery to me today?! And I guess one of the other patrons found it and got mad that I didn’t say thank you ?! But first off if you had a phone that wasn’t yours why not announce it and say I have a phone that I found outside?? If I hadn’t come back in were you going to keep it?! So, I had an okay experience….can’t say I would ever come back!

Very talented staff very welcoming. They gave me a whole new look. I did not expect my hair to come out this good they have got a customer for life. If I were you guys, I would be flooding this hair studio.

***WARNING***I don’t usually leave reviews and am only commenting on my experiences with Briantae (Bri). Do not book with her. She has either not shown or canceled last minute for at least 4 appointments and did not follow up. Even after confirming with her the day before. This last time, I showed up to the salon and she was not there. When another beautician at the salon called her, she was sleeping, then texted me that she was running an hour and a half late. After waiting to hear from her, she never called, did not answer my calls and never showed up. The most flaky beautician I’ve ever had. Completely unprofessional. I hope management addresses this issue because it’s a very bad look.

I booked an appointment with Briantae. However, she changed my time 3 times, even after I told her I was 15 minutes away. When I arrived I had to wait over an hour for my head to even be touch. When someone did finally touch my head, it wasn’t Briantae, it was somebody else by the name of LIZ. Liz put way too much gel on my head, hence it turned white the next day. Also I asked for small knotless braids with extended length, I was actually given Medium/large braids. I paid $260 for what was suppose to be small braids but came out large. I was overcharged, they declined to assist me. Liz even acknowledged that she did medium braids but would not refund me the service! The service was horrible, & the customer service at the shop is horrible as well. I have reviewed them on multiple social medias with over a million views, I’m sure this company won’t be getting much more business after this! Should’ve just fixed the issue Liz & Briantae

If I could I would give a 0 star!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! If I pay 350 for a hair style I don’t expect it to be coming out by the morning.( which he finished at 10PM with someone helping and it’s not the size I sent him in the picture). He lied about my hair lasting a month. Tremaine or Tremond did my hair and he was so rough on my head!!!!!!!! Pulling my hair out, he didn’t have the stuff needed for my hair and he started blow drying my hair and it wasn’t even wet!!! I payed for a wash and blow dry included He complained about being tired. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He didn’t wash my hair, which was part of my service. They rushed my hair without locking my hair. Now I have hair unraveling. These people at this place talk to much about they clients. LIKE IT’S there fault there UNPROFESSIONAL. They sit and talk about their co-workers. I HOPE I AM ABLE TO HELP SOMEONE BEFORE THEY GET HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TALKED ABOUT!!!

Never leave reviews but I’m doing this to warn another person who travels all the way there for their time to be wasted. First appointment went well. The second was so unprofessional. I booked with Briantae who first forgot my appointment (despite me booking a week in advance) which I kindly agreed to come the next day because I understand that happens. Then I arrived the next day promptly on time and she’s not there at all. She never showed up or responded to any of my calls or texts. She completely disrespected my time and was extremely unprofessional…

The lady who helped us is the epitomy of rude. I came there over a year ago and dis not purchase because of the rude behavior. I went back thinking maybe it was just a bad day BUT No the lady was ruder than a vane drunk and the hair stinks like it came from.China. i have washed it twice and it STILL smells. Wont be back

This Hair Studio is the Bomb and on point they have four outstanding stylist. They took me in as a walk in and now I'ma Keep On Walking In .. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere great conversation and they also play good music 😊 this hair studio is definitely highly favored with great prices. I recommend This place to everyone ! 5 STAR SALON. !!!
