As a 24-year-old male POC, I never really went to salons growing up. Now that I have long, curly hair, I’ve realized how hard it is to find someone who truly knows how to work with curls! Barbershops often butcher them, and most stylists I’ve come across just don’t have the right touch. Ryan cut my hair for the second time today, and I have to say—he gets it. He’s incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and gives a fantastic haircut. My curls can breathe again, and I feel more confident than ever. If you’ve got curly hair and have been hesitant to trust a stylist, Ryan’s your guy. He’s got your back! I’m never going to another stylist again as long as I’m in Philly.

I saw Kayla for a cut & gloss and I am so happy with my results! My hair feels so healthy. The blowout lasted me 6+ days and I’ve received so many compliments! Kayla was very honest about how much hair I should trim and I trust her. She toned by hair to my natural color and I love it. Definitely recommend you see Kayla!

Terrible hair cut. I asked for a trim and got a radical change. Stylist did not look at my chart and do what I wanted. Did her own thing ... not what I wanted. Booo!

Cami absolutely ruined my hair. She cut it way too short. The layers are uneven, the ends look jagged. Don’t come to this place if you want to get a good haircut .

I'm a guy with long hair. Barber shops don't always get it right, H & K did wonderfully. Came right before my best friend's wedding, and the pics look great.

I’ve had my hair cut by basically everyone at HK and they are all extremely talented. I must shout out my favorite hairdresser, Cami Williams. I have extremely fine hair and my hair has a different texture on each side of my head, but Cami’s haircuts are just so, so good. She’s wonderful and attentive and has some incredible techniques. Oh and her highlights are so natural. 10/10.

Have been getting my hair cut at this salon for 2 years now. Great service, awesome haircut every time with my stylist Ryan. Would highly recommend - I only go for haircuts but my friends all go there for color and hairskeen and they all love it too.

I had an appointment today for highlights with Kayla. I had a wonderful experience and I love my hair. Kayla was warm, friendly and really listened to my hair needs. The staff was friendly and the space was inviting. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. I will come back.

Great studio. Easy to get appointment m. Mike knew exactly what kind of hair I wanted, and told me all about the hair and the limitation it may have, especially because I had straight hard hair. I was happy with the perm.

I came here to get my full highlights touched up and I was set up with stylist Camilia. Upon our first meeting I found that Camila was very genuine and she really listened to what I wanted. She not only touched up my existing highlights, but she also added highlights at the back of my head where other stylists I've gone to neglected to touch. My hair is very long and it did end up taking a while, but she patiently and thoroughly finished my hair while also taking 2 other appointments she had that day. I'm so happy with my highlights now. They are full of dimension and closer to the tone I wanted. Not only did Camilia do a wonderful job with my highlights, but she also did a beautiful job with my blow out. My hair was smooth & layd for days with a nice curl at the bottom. Camilia is very skilled at what she does and I Thank her and HK salon. I'll be back soon ☺️.

I got my haircut by Cami and she was AMAZING!!! She was super thorough, listened to my ideas and helped my hair dreams become a reality! She is also super kind and made my experience as comfortable as she could!! She really transformed my hair and I cannot thank her enough! The space was also super clean and the perfect location! I 100% recommend!

I will never go back here. Twice in a row my appointment has been delayed by 15-20+ minutes, without any notice or communication from Kayla. There was no "running a bit behind, sorry!" I was just simply ignored. My haircuts don't take a long time, I schedule a 30 min window, and waiting 20 minutes with no acknowledgement is absurd. I will say I love the haircut I got from Kayla, despite her not recognizing or remembering me on my third or fourth visit. Pricey, and bad scheduling / customer service.

Katie is fantastic. I’m going through hair thinning and loss and have been in there a few times trying to figure out what I want. She has been patient, thorough, went above and beyond to help guide me, and I absolutely love my new haircut. Thank you Katie. Can not recommend her enough!!! Also, my daughter saw Cammie and she did a great job cutting her hair.

Shannon cut my long hair into a much shorter style, and when I say she cut it EXACTLY the way my reference photos looked, I am not exaggerating. She didn’t waste any time getting started and she checked in with me at various stages to make sure the length was still what I had in mind. I also usually have to shower immediately after every haircut I get because of all of the tiny hairs on me, but she somehow magically took care of that too! Shannon did an excellent job, and as a bonus, the corner spot for the studio is a great place to get your hair cut while people watching.

I went to Ryan with hair that hadn't been cut since pre-covid (yikes), and let me tell you, he gave me the most gorgeous cut ever. My hair is immaculate. I couldn't love it more. The studio is also just so cozy and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.
