I went into hodnett on 8/28/21 and saw Susan to have my hair cut and colored. I went in with hair half way down my back and left with hair that barley touched my shoulders. We discussed my hair beforehand, where I stated I need to be able to put the hair fully up since I'm a mail lady and I wanted my hair below my shoulders. I left the salon with a completely different outcome. Layers so short that if I put the hair up to low on my head all the top layers fall out, if I put it up to high on my head all the hair at the bottom of my head falls out. The color is on point but always having to cover my hair with a ball cap because of the choppy hair cut I was left with results in not actually being able to see the lovely color. Me and my husband reach out to Susan where we basically just did circles and were told she loved the hair cut and she was not going to refund me my money because she's not in the business to refund anyone, since she believes she did a great job. She did send me photos she took that day which I was smiling because I dont like taking bad photos regardless, which when she sent them back to me she had used a filter, because if she wouldn't have you would have seen the dye that was all over my check. The two photos are of what I had envisioned. And left with something completely different. At the end all of this Susan believe the hair cut is good and looks great so that's all that matters, even though she is not the one who has to deal with the hair untill it grows back in so I can have another salon fix the choppy mess I have now.

Made my first time appointment and was canceled over text three hours before I was supposed to be there. I find this very unprofessional and if roles were reversed they would be very upset as well. Some places would even charge a cancellation fee. I was a future first time customer and they lost my service.

The stylist failed to follow straight forward direction for a mans simple haircut. She also did a half hearted job at trimming my goatee, mustache and eye brows. She just did not seem to really care or pay attention to detail for a first time visit.

Love the ladies there, Sus is awesome! I traveled from Hawaii to get my hair done by her. I now live in VA and I have no problem traveling from there as well. All the ladies there are awesome at what they do! I'm a natural redhead and it's hard to find someone who know's how to color us.
