Libby is wonderful! She listens better than any stylist I’ve met, and asks clarifying questions to make sure the picture in your mind matches hers. Each time I’ve gotten a cut from her, the experience has been lovely and I’ve come away with a stellar cut and style. I have CURLS and have tried so many places across the country- Libby has done better with them than anyone else. I cannot recommend her enough!

I can't say anything other than 10/10 is well deserved for this lady! I have massive hair dresser anxiety and her approach was very comforting and she is willing to share as much knowledge as you ask her for. The salon is comfortable and cozy and individual approach makes all the difference. I've never seen a hair salon, especially one that only has one hair dresser, have all 5 star reviews but this lady is 100% hype worth and very reasonably priced. If she wasnt gratuity free I would have been happy to pay double what she charge plus tip. Anyone hesitant about a new hairdresser I would highly recommend this talented woman!

Just visited Libby for the first time and I am so happy to have such a good hair stylist in the neighborhood. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted and more. Her space is great too! Would recommend and will go back.

Today was my first visit with Libby at Hold Still Now. I must tell of the amazing experience I had. First I am a retired hairstlyist from Philadelphia, and my expectations at a salon with a hairstylist are VERY HIGH. She MET and EXCEEDED every expectation, seriously. This is one talented hairdresser. I have a short pixie cut, that practically cut itself from chemical damage, she salvaged it and made it look amazing. I'm here on business for a few weeks but will make sure to visit once more before I leave. That amazing!!

Amazing stylist that cuts stubborn, thick, course hair! My experience with Libby has been amazing. It is always stressful to find someone who can cut and color hair. I will never use anyone else. The location is very easy to find and you can park at the back door and walk right in. If you are looking for someone to trust then you really should try Libby. I highly recommend her!

I have fine curly hair and no one ever seems to know how to cut my hair, until now. Libby did an amazing job on my color, highlights and haircut. She even styled it beautifully, which never happens. I'm sharing my review of Libby Rhoman because she is truly the best hair stylist I have ever been to. She has cut, colored, and styled my hair for almost 10 years. If you are looking for a knowledgeable professional who thoroughly enjoys her craft - then Libby is your girl! She has made some wonderful changes to my hair and given product advice that has left my hair never looking better or more healthy.

Libby is THE BEST! I always get more than I hope for with both cuts and color! She also has great suggestions for products whenever I find myself having hair issues. She’s a pleasure to spend time with, and I highly recommend her to everyone when asked about who does my hair.

Libby is a fantastic hairstylist. She listens, she suggests and it feels like a real collaboration everytime I go in. As I age, my hair is becoming finer and less wavy—and of course loosing it’s color. Libby has found a way to make my hair (through cut and color) look fresh and full, which is what I want. Her coloring skills are masterful and the products she uses and sells are the best ever. My daughter is now her client, too. She’s able to bridge that 40-year span in expectations and desires with total success. We both love our hair after Libby’s worked her magic on us.

Libby is by far the best hair stylist I have ever known. She's been caring for my hair (and my husband's hair) for more than six years. I have difficult hair to say the least -- it's naturally curly, and, now that it's mostly gray, very wiry and coarse. Libby has completely changed the texture of my hair by applying keratin treatments, and the color is movie-star gorgeous. Her blowouts are brilliant and last for days. I can't recommend Libby enough!

Libby understands curly hair: how to cut it (and how not to cut it), how to style it, how to color it, and most importantly, how all those elements need to accurately reflect who you are as a person. I've had Deva cuts and Ouidad cuts and though your curls may be defined, you end up with a one-size-fits-all haircut. Libby studies the unique qualities of your hair, asks the right questions, and you walk out feeling more "you" than ever before. Several years ago I spent days researching the best curly hair stylists in Portland, and Libby's chair is where I landed, thank goodness. I've never been happier with my hair. For the first time it is manageable, stylish, and I enjoy my curls completely. Think of her as a therapist for your hair! The salon is peaceful, welcoming, and tasteful, and though I'd gladly tolerate anyone to get a haircut like this, Libby is also a a complete joy to chat with about anything under the sun.
