Ciera is truly a wizard when it comes to hair and lashes! She’s my go-to for both. She listens to what I need (I have very stubborn lashes and she’s always been super accommodating) and always delivers! She’s the best of the best and I’m so thankful I found her!!

New Posting 2025 Cierra has done it again. Had a haircut this week and once again I had three people comment on my hair the day after my haircut!! Two of them were people I did not know! Thanks again Cierra!!! Original posting. 2022:Have been going to Cierra for years. Immediately after my last haircut, I had three people compliment me on my haircut with one coming from a total stranger in the parking lot of the grocery store!!! Thanks Cierra!!

My 5 star review is long overdue. After moving to Charlottesville a few years ago and trying several salons, I had the good fortune to find Petra Burgos at Holladay Spa. Petra is an excellent hair stylist and wonderful person! Besides giving great hair cuts that grow out perfectly, she shares helpful information on how to keep my thinning, graying hair healthy and looking good between cuts. Thank you, Petra!

I am SUPER picky about my haircut and color. Finding Ciera has been like finding a pot of gold! She cut my hair perfectly the first time I sat in her chair. She nailed my color on the first try as well. This NEVER happens. She asks all the right questions about what you’re looking for and can translate that into perfect results. Plus she is very personable and fun to be with. What more could you want?!

I saw Lacey for a facial and it was nothing short of amazing! She is super personable and makes the experience very comfortable and relaxing. She is very knowledgeable about her products and wants the best for her clients. 10/10 would recommend this service to anybody! Also got a lash and brow tint and it looks spectacular! Lacey is great!

Lash tint and lift with amazing results! Laura is highly skilled and professional. She talked me through the process. No stinging at all. I could not be more happy - my lashes looked amazing and I've gone 45weeks without needing mascara or eye makeup.

Love this shop and the folks working there! Cuts by Brooke for MANY years now! The get glowing club is great for a monthly facial and nice bene’s too. Clean, pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Love it!

There’s a reason why this Spa has so many great reviews! I had a haircut appointment with Ciera & she was so professional and gave me the exact haircut I wanted, she took her time and was so easy to talk to and be around. Leilani has done my brows twice now, and each time she’s done wonderfully! I appreciate their time & talent so much! You won’t regret visiting this salon. :)

Brooke cut my hair for the first time yesterday, and I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day not just because of the gorgeous haircut, but because of how incredibly cared for and respected she made me feel! I was a bit nervous to go to a salon because I'm dealing with postpartum hair loss, don't have much extra time or budget for extensive hair maintenance in my everyday life, and am currently letting my silver hair come in and didn't want to feel pushed into coloring it. Brooke was so kind, understanding, and not judgmental in the slightest. She made me feel celebrated! She focused on empowering me with knowledge and techniques to preserve the health of my hair and to style it on my own with things I already own and in the few extra minutes I have each day. This is the first time I've left a haircut feeling like I will love my hair at home, not just when I walk out of the salon. Thank you, Brooke!!

Ciera Kirby McGuire has been spiffing me up for several years and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. She is not only a very skilled stylist whose judgement I trust completely, but she is a kind, warm wonderful friend. I always look forward to seeing her. On a few occasions I have had to request an appointment change and she has always responded promptly and graciously, accommodating my needs. Ciera is a treasure!

Unfortunately I would not go here ever again. I got my lashes done here and although she did a decent job, my next two appointments we canceled the day of the appointment. The girl left me hanging twice and once before my vacation. If you’re looking for a dependable/ consistent person this place is not for you. The response to this is a complete lie. My appointments were canceled both times because supposedly the girl had food poisoning both times and canceled at the last minute. I understand this place is trying to save face but to say a complete lie because of it just show their character!

Lacy did my lashes today and they are gorgeous. She is gentle and meticulous and really made me feel comfortable. Laura and Leilani have also done my lashes with great results. Always warm and welcoming vibe with excellent services! Highly recommend!

Laura is truly the most professional aesthetician in Charlottesville. No matter the service, she is on-time, prepared, and never seems stressed or in a rush. Her expertise in skincare, facials, and other services (lashes, waxing) is unmatched in our area. Her business is fastidiously clean and organized and prices very reasonable. She's been growing her business for over a decade now in Charlottesville and if you're hesitating, you should book her ASAP. She is in high demand and deservedly so!

I’ve been coming to Ciera for my hair for a decade now, and there is no one else I would trust more with my hair. I found her when I first moved to Cville and have never looked back! She is so talented, listens to my concerns and needs, and is honest about what will work for my hair, and if what I want will achieve what I’m going for (which I value immensely). I’ve been getting blond highlights in my hair since I was in high school, and no one can give me that cool blond blended with my natural hair color the way she does! And the cut?! Always perfection no matter what it is I’m going for! It’s literally a work of art every time, and I can’t stop looking at my hair after! Over the years, I’ve also tried a lot of new things, and she’s always game to change it up and go on that journey with me. Not only is she amazing at giving you the hair you want, but I always look forward to the 2-3 hours we spend together; I am the definition of an introvert, but Ciera never fails to make me feel comfortable and beyond that, I have so much fun talking with her and just hanging out! The time truly flies in Ciera’s chair and I always leave feeling so refreshed, rejuvenated, and feeling so good about myself! I highly recommend Ciera to anyone looking for an amazing, kind, compassionate, and extremely talented human!
