i went there today and requested for female , the guy came to me after massage and kept asking more tip, i did only 30 minute massage and he was like dont come if u cannot give more than 10-15 tip, i had only cash that time but very rude person and abusive people working there, lady was nice who was massage therapist but a guy was very unethical, this envy spa is near to shoe store in university park mall, when i asked him his name he said go away

I’ve been here twice now. The first time roughly two weeks ago and the second time was yesterday. The first time was pretty enjoyable. I did have to tell the guy ouch it hurts a few times but he eased up when I did. He worked wonders on my neck and shoulders where I was having the most pain. Really got the kink out. I left feeling less tense in my neck and back and truly had the desire to go back which is why I went yesterday. I had a different guy this time. Massage started off okay and quickly became painful. Very pailful. I kept saying ouch that hurts and that’s too hard. He would let up and then start going super hard again. I’m not sure if he even heard me half the time over his talking to another employee so I started moving in pain for him to get the hint. He, in my opinion, was using dangerous tactics by placing his elbow at the bottom of my neck by my spine and pressing down extremely hard while holding it there and then running his elbow extremely hard right on my spine. Then he started sniffing a lot and clearing his throat. You could hear his congestion. He would take his hand off me while he was sucking in his nose and I could hear him wiping his face. Since I was face down I’m unsure if he used his sleeve, arm, or hand. I have never been so glad for a massage to be over. I woke up today bruised on my back in numerous spots. A massage should NEVER leave you bruised and in pain.

Nearly everyone that works here is rude. They all speak extremely broken English @ best. And they ALWAYS! ALWAYS! Try & force you to tip more. They will literally try and keep your change. so Plan Ahead & bring some singles lol or just pay by💳. I don't play that game, so if they want to act that way, I just won't tip anything, it's no difference to me. I don't get who they think they are. We 'lazy Americans' apparently will pay it and keep quiet. That is their mentality. I usually enjoy their massages but the price goes up nearly every year no matter what the economy is doing. #Truth Don't get bullied into tipping more $$. They have been using these same tactics for years.

Poor experience. Unenjoyable massage. Everyone was rude. Cost was more than what was listed on sign, and was forced to leave a higher tip. Don’t do it.

Before I get into the off-putting reviews I've seen that lack human decency, I'll start with explaining my experience every time I come here: These are hard working people who have always been nice and helpful with me. They keep the lighting darker and are eager to assist you as soon as possible. They are upfront with their costs, how long the wait will be and open to listening to what your preferences are, despite the slight language barrier. I work out 5-6 days a week and I look forward to coming here for some muscle relief. They work all areas of the body to provide all around relief for tightness and fluidity. That being said, I have to add... Before you come in to get a massage here, understand it is an ACUPRESSURE massage technique. This technique is specifically done to break up lactic acid buildup and tightness. Feeling bruised the next day and after is a NORMAL occurrence. Look it up. So, if you are one that wants something gentle and bubbly, then go sit in a hot tub. There are signs clear as day at the very front on what kind of areas they hit and why. As far as the chatting back and forth and/or taking phone calls, I don't know what you are expecting. They are open 7 days a week, and they aren't there to kiss your behinds. You are literally paying $65 for a whole hour massage in the mall, no appointment required, so it's not going to be some custom prestige experience like you would get at your fancier places. If you want that kind of experience, then go somewhere else where you'd pay at least $80 more. I see a lot of reviews in here about them getting huffy over tipping. Trust me, if waiters and waitresses had the right to express their disgust over insulting tips without having to lose their jobs then they would do the same thing. I am flabbergasted seeing reviews from people saying they didn't tip at all? These "customers" then being offended because the massager wasn't happy about it? How offended did you THEY felt looking at that $0 for a tip? It's despicable. If you are one that doesn't tip, even if the service was subpar or not what you wanted, you are the problem here. And them being vocal about it, is their way of saying "don't come back, we don't want your business". I even read that someone tipped $5 off of him and his wife getting an hour massage each. Sir, that is a slap in the face. I don't see how you can't understand why it's out of line for someone to be upset. By the way, tipping someone less than $5 even if the service was for only 15 minutes is rude and insulting. Period. I can't imagine tipping my hair stylist or my pedicurist like that. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with people like the ones in this review section. It is absolutely full of people with no manners, and I'm sure this business was more than happy to weed out these "customers" that don't know simple etiquette for hard working people.

Me & my husband are fans of Thai massaging since forever. Went to University park mall for shopping & stopped by this spa parlor. We both took 30 minutes Back & shoulder package & cost 70 Bucks for both of us together. Man who gave massage to me , I think his name was Lucky , he is quite good at massaging. I showed him my pain site & he tried to take good care. But the lady who gave massage to my husband, she wasn’t fully concentrating on her work . Kept talking the full time of her service with another lady whose husband was taking massage . I think we will come back for Lucky next time . One thing , most of the massage therapist work there , are not English speaking. So you might need to use google translator some time .

This was the worst massage I have ever had at this place. She never asked what type of massage just started rubbing on my body and resting up or down for about 5 min. I politely asked for deep tissue massage. Ok she continues to give me pressure but not on muscle more like applying pressure to my bones. I had to have mentioned twice that it hurts. Now I get deep tissue massages elsewhere never felt this kind of pain from a massage therapist. This lady applied so much pressure in the center of my back where I clearly didn't need a massage . My muscles weren't or never been tight in the middle of my back. 2 days later I can barely move and painful I feel pain in my chest. Just an awful experience all around. The 30 min massage was $35 I give $40 because the sign says a fee will be charged for using cards. She has the audacity to not give me my change. I wait thinking she's making change she just looking around. I'm like Mt change please . She like for tip. I was like no let me decide the tip. She gives my change I still left a tip but not 5. She commence to talking whatever language she speaks again totally disrespectful. I pay for good service and this clearly not good service.

Wow - amazing. They have way better pricing than other massage parlors in the area. Very friendly to guests. They don't talk a lot so it is nice and relaxing. I feel SO good. I received a full body massage plus foot massage and facial. I will be back again. They are right by the food court near Rue 21.

I’m retired and on a fixed income I always get 15 minutes in the chair and leave a $2 tip. If they don’t like it tuff Boo boo for them I won’t leave anything next time. I don’t let them Bully me and you shouldn’t either.

Please explain to your workers that begging for more of a tip makes us not want to return. I gave a very fair tip and was begged for five more dollars. The massage was excellent and I gave a fair tip so to be hounded for more is ridiculous and not professional.

Understand this is a deep acupuncture massage, yes you will be sore for a few days but trust it’s worth it was I was feeling before. They get deep down and break up any knots or tension you have in neck and shoulders. Great if you suffer from headaches as well. I feel amazing when I leave and have a good nights sleep. My body doesn’t feel as tense anymore. I do the $30 min and tip $10 doing what they do is not easily it’s alot of work with their hands constantly.

Great massage my muscles really get knotted up and they are able to get my muscles relaxed. And if anyone gets professional services and they do a good job the tip is usually 20%.

I got an 80 minute massage. The massage was great!! I went to tip, I said 5 as the massage was almost 100 already, he asked for 10 when I said no 5 he refused to give me my debit card back! Absolutely insane ! Had to get the police involved ! I will never return there !

I have had many good massages here but today I had a guy I’ve not seen there before. His massage was not good, he used too much lotion and basically just rubbed for a few minutes in each spot. I laid there thinking how to get out of this massage so I didn’t have to waste 60 dollars for a poor massage. Then when checking out I gave a 5 dollar tip and the man was so rude and unprofessional asking me for 10 dollars. I said no you used too much lotion and just rubbed. If I had been a little quicker thinking I would have taken the 5 off the counter and left. If I go back it will definitely not be with that man. He also smelled like cigarette smoke which I feel is unprofessional as well.

Awesome IF and ONLY if you like Chinese acupressure style massage. This is meant to break down the lactic acid from knots in your muscles and flush them out. Y his is a DEEP and INTENSE type of massage if you are sensitive or don't like seep muscle pressure it won't be for you. For me it is COMPLETE AND TOTAL HEAVENLY PAIN RELIEF!!! I have spine and muscle problems and there are particular therapists I have come to know who work with pressure points and muscles just where I need it. I get 90 minutes and fall asleep because my pain is released and relieved as they work out the rock hard knots in my neck shoulders and low back. This muscle release loosens the intensity of the pinch on my pinched nerves and gives me massage endorphins. I float out on a cloud. If you feel indulgent get your feet done you won't believe how much tension you store there and how great it is after it is worked out! This place is my pain ER. I go often to literally be able to manage my chronic pain. It works better than pain pills and there are no harmful side effects. For those concerned about Corona virus they are cleaning and taking contact info and only doing face down full body or just feet. No face to face work.

Massage was good very rough but good. However my wife and I got hour each and I tip $5 really didn't want to but I did. Both workers made me feel cheap for tipping so low after the bill was $116. Felt low and embarrassed in front for customers was about to erase tip and give them nothing. Tip should never feel forced especially in the time we in.

I have had massages in the past, however this was probably one of the worst that I have ever had. I asked for the acupressure 30 minute massage as well as my husband had the 30 minute chair massage and both of us were extremely sore and bruised for three days following. I will not recommend this group to anyone.

Got an acupressure massage here. Not big on massages, but left feeling a little looser. Definitely opened up a tight spot in my back. They have space for at least 5 people at a time so the wait isn't too long. And there's 2 locations in the mall.
