Curly hair can be a pain without proper knowledge on how to to manage it and a good stylist. Valerie is amazing at what she does!! I've been seeing her for a few years now and leave every visit feeling like she exceeded my expectations. I would easily recommend her to anyone looking for someone who knows what they are doing with curls, uses great product, and can teach you how to be confident with styling your hair.

She has seen my hair throughout it all!. From a tough bought of medical hair loss where she gave me the cutest TWA (and renewed confidence), to now thriving healthy mid back length curls - She's always given me a style that enhances my curl pattern, flatters my face, and encouragement along the way! She is excellent at teaching you how to style your curls so that they look just as great at home as when you leave her salon. On top of that, she is a real gem of a person! Sitting in her chair is always relaxing and comforting, not only because I’m confident she is going to give me an amazing look but also because she is so kind and caring. Valerie is super easy to talk to and fun to be around! She creates a truly lovely environment in her salon and I always look forward to my hair cuts + colors! Thanks Honey & Mane!!!!

Valerie is not only warm and friendly but she knows curly hair! It is hard for me to find stylists who actually are educated in troubleshooting issues with my hair. She was able to help me understand my hair better, gave me a beautiful haircut and I left with my curls bouncy and frizz free! In addition, she is in her own little space at a salon suites situation and I loved that it was just us - chatting and focusing on me! I can't recommend Valerie enough!

I have been going to Valerie for 4 years now and she's the only one I trust to really bring my curly/wavy hair back to life. In the past, I have been super picky about cutting my hair but she makes her space feel so safe and I feel heard. I have such an attachment to my long hair that when I come in with extremely damaged ends she doesn't make me take the big chop, we work on it little by little!

Amazing service! I had an SOS situation, I was having my company’s convention this week and so I reached out to this studio and Valerie-my stylist got back to me right away! When I arrived, she saw me early and was so professional! Valerie has amazing knowledge on my unique textured hair as well as the products! She took good care of me and we also had great conversation, overall the entire experience was amazing! My hair looks and feels incredible!

Located in the Sola Salon Studios, Honey & Mane is where the curl care is at! Valerie accommodated my crazy schedule and was able to transform my over bleached hair into something special. My highlights look more uniform and natural. Best part was I didn't spend the entire day at the salon, as she worked efficiently cutting. foiling, and styling my hair. I actually look forward to my touch up in the future. She's so personable! It was a pleasure talking to her and learning how to deal with my curls in such a low humidity climate.

My favorite place! Cuts always makes me nervous when my hair is wet, was so excited to see scissors come out when my hair was still dry.
