This is a gem of a place. My stylist, Hadley, does an amazing job and listens to what I want, but puts his unique touch to make it even better. The atmosphere is quirky and irreverent, but earthy at the same time.

I had such a great first time experience. Anna was amazing! Having curly hair makes me anxious to try new salons, but Anna reassured me through the entire process. She was so informative and receptive of the type of cut that I wanted and I am very happy with the results. Definitely recommend!

Love this salon! Have been seeing Becca for years and she’s fantastic. Have seen a few other stylists occasionally and everyone has been wonderful and does a great job. Would definitely recommend!

Becca is fantastic! She is kind, thoughtful, and friendly, and most importantly, she takes the time to ask all of the right question to fully understand what you want out of a cut and color. I have wavy/curly hair, and her cut really brought my curls back to life. I am so grateful to have found my stylist in Charlottesville!

I had a great first experience at Honeycomb with Anna this weekend! I've been to every big salon in Charlottesville and I've never been super impressed by my results. Anna was awesome, she really listened to what I wanted and what would work for my hair and my routine. She didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of products and was very friendly and professional. I can tell she's a very experienced stylist and cared about her craft. Honeycomb salon was clean, cozy, and a very safe and welcoming environment. I will definitely be back to see Anna when I need a refresh!

Anna cut my curly hair and made a beautiful shape to my formally disastrous cut. She spent time getting to know what I actually wanted and how to get there. She is professional, friendly and clearly knows curly hair very well. She is a joy to chat with and I look forward to my next visit!

Hadley cut my hair in July. moved from another state Fall '21 and was nervous about a new stylist and did my due diligence for here. I have naturally curly hair that I straighten in non humid months. I didn't really have a solid idea, just knew I needed some shaping and a trim. Hadley listened, was so fun, had great ideas, and I still love my cut.

Hadley is the BOMB dot COM. SUCH a sweet person and was careful to always check in with me and make sure I was happy with how things were shaping up. This is especially amazing for people who aren't always super comfy or confident in asking questions or raising concerns, and I can't imagine anyone going to her and leaving feeling as though their input and needs weren't valued and prioritized throughout the service. She's super considerate of lifestyle and clearly knowledgeable in her suggestions, both in regard to haircare and whatever service you're getting. I looooove how my hair turned out, and the experience of getting my hair cut with Hadley was also just genuinely pleasant. Could not recommend her enough. I plan on moving soon but am absolutely willing to travel back to Cville to get my hair done by her again.

There are no words to explain the level of immediate and enduring comfort and support I felt here. This is an amazing shop with amazing people and in 30+ years of having hair (and 10+ with long hair) I've never had a better hair cut/style experience. I cannot express how much I recommend this shop! Truly amazing. For reference: I was helped by Hadley.

Megan has done an outstanding job on the new space - it is gorgeous! Claibourne gave me a great cut, as always! It was a delight to sit and feel pampered, especially in this unique time. The COVID precautions in place made me feel safe, and allowed me to enjoy the experience.

THE best haircut I have ever had!! WOW! Becca really knew what she was doing AND was also SO very lovely! I have curly hair and have found it very challenging to get a hairdresser that knows how to cut my hair so the curl falls beautifully AND is not cut too short! There was no length taken off which is great as I am growing it, the curls are done so well that I hardly need to use any product, so its very soft & is contained - no more fluffy big hair. I have had so many compliments! I feel & look great! SO happy! Thank you Becca & Honeycomb! Kindest Regards and joy, Kim.

I have curly hair and for the first time in years my hair feels amazing and I don’t need to wear it up on a daily basis because of it being out of control! Becca is fantastic at curly cuts. I would especially recommend her for those out there who are always nervous about new stylists touching your curls.

This is more than a haircut, this is an experience. Every person is friendlier than the next, and it's obvious that they enjoy knowing you and making you look your best. They are very into their craft. Very unusual atmosphere for salon, in the best way possible. Welcoming to first-time clients.
