Kristin is the best! She always does such a great job on my brows and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! The salon was so cute & easy to find. Bonus points they have great parking!

I have been going to Honeycomb for the past few months and I have loved my experience. Chloe is an amazing stylist who will take your hair from look dull, broken and damaged, to LONG, SHINY and STRONG! Not only has she been amazing to work with in my hair health journey during my appointment, but she has also recommended the best products and care while at home. Postpartum and bleach did a number on my hair and she has really been able to bring it back to life. I could not recommend her enough!! Go book your appointment with Chloe!

My dog pushed a gate open and got out today. Crossed Chenoweth Ln. He was found by the sweet ladies there at the salon, who funny enough have a dog mascot. Can’t thank them enough. Thank you so much for watching him and taking him inside.

After three years of hesitation, I finally trusted Gala, who has been doing my tinting and shaping, to do my permanent eyebrows. The process was less painful than expected, and the result is beautiful, framing my face naturally. She is very professional and takes her time to achieve your perfect look. With my daughter's wedding approaching, I wanted to look my best, and Gala helped me achieve my dream eyebrows. Now that they're healed, I'm thrilled with the natural look. I'm even considering getting lip blush done soon. Highly recommend Gala for natural-looking permanent makeup. Gala’s permanent makeup studio is very clean and in a convenient part of town.

SCAMMERS FRAUD AND HORRIBLE ATMOSPHERE. worst salon probably in this city. Dont book with Chelsea to color or bleach your hair. Definitely dont book a service and then expect that actual service to be done for you. She just does whatever her little hairdresser hands feel like doing. Hair looked okay before just needed roots blended into my hair i leave with highlights and out $300. Call and complain and they tell me they will let me know when she has time to fix this. They never did. Book an appointment myself and let them know i was just here and paid for something i did not want nor did i like. I leave with ASHY GREY/BROWN/BLONDE HAIR a whole literal mess and on top of it. she took it UPON HERSELF to charge my card from the first vist $300 when i WALKED OUT UNHAPPY AND LATER IN TEARS. im not confrontational and i SHOULD HAVE SAID THIS TO HER FACE. The worst colorist in the city. And a CRIMINAL. Waste of my life and my money. Ps doesnt matter who's account i use to post my review. It is still my honest review of this place. 10/09/2023: It has been two years since I posted the review below; and I still think Katelyn is the very best! I often get compliments on my color because she does such a beautiful job! My hair has never looked healthier; and it's all thanks to Katelyn! Honeycomb is a wonderful salon overall! Super cute and clean; and everyone is very friendly! Can't recommend enough! ______________________________________________________________ Katelyn is AMAZING! 5 stars is not enough! I lived in LA for 10 years and tried salons all over the city; and even had my hair done regularly by professional hair stylists on tv/film sets and no one even came close to Katelyn! I have often left salons with tears in my eyes after a bad cut or color; but it is all smiles with Katelyn. She colors my hair so beautifully; and she always cuts my hair in a way that gives it life and body! Plus, BONUS, she's super cool and interesting to talk to! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her NOW! xoxo

Absolutely wonderful salon ! The best in this area! The salon has an extremely strict policy of last minute cancellations. I had a car issue right before my appointment and wasn't worked with. I was more than happy to pay half of the cost of my booked service . I was charged for the whole service due to a last minute emergency (About 300 dollars). I get salon policy but I also believe in using fair judgement. It makes one feel as if you aren't important to the stylist. Again this is the best salon around but be prepared to pay for full service for a last minute emergency etc. Per the receptionist it doesn't matter if it's a car accident,death of family etc. How awkward would it be coming back to a salon knowing your stylist did not care about your health,life etc Had this not happened this place would have received 10 stars. Unfortunate.

Book the appointment, you’ll thank yourself later! I’ve been going to Katelyn for a few years and can honestly say she’s the best stylist I’ve ever seen. Every time I’m there she patiently listens to what I would like and gives thoughtful suggestions as to how we can make it work. She considers how much time I spend on my hair outside of the salon and comes up with a style that works for me, so my hair always looks great! Her highlights and color are always flawless! I get so many compliments on my hair now. Also, the salon is gorgeous and everyone is kind!

I had my lip blushing procedure with Gala at Honeycomb Salon last week. This is my second lip blushing procedure (my first one was a year ago) and I flew all the way from New York to see Gala again. I am very particular about people who do any procedures on my face, especially my lips and eyes. Gala is very knowledgeable, professional and skilled in the blushing technique (lips, brows, eyes) and is trained by top tier international permanent make up artists. You can only get this type of service in Europe (or you can also see Gala). More on the lip blushing procedure: First, it took an hour / hour an a half to get the lip shape draw. Gala is a perfectionist and she always makes sure everything is perfect before we start. The actual procedure took about an hour (after the lip shape was drawn and we were both happy with it). Overall process was not very painful and has minimum down time. I went to a birthday party right after my procedure and everyone was complimenting me on my lips. I am one week post procedure and I am absolutely thrilled about my result. I highly recommend Gala to everyone, especially when it comes to permanent or semi permanent make up. It is SO important to make sure the person performing a procedure is not just 'good' but 'perfect'!, especially when it comes to your face!!! I've seen so many butchered permanent make up results on people in the past, it's critical to make sure you find a skilled person. I wish I lived in Louisville or had more time so I could do my brows and eyeliner. I did my eyeliner with Gala last year and I will come back for it again once my current eyeliner fades. Lastly, Gala is very knowledgeable esthetician, so while you get your procedure done you can get a free skin consultation with her and address any of your skin concerns. I always purchase Skin Medica which is a pro skincare line that generally is not sold at regular retailers. Highly recommend it. Thank you Gala again for making my face naturally beautiful/ enhanced with perfect lips.

I have been coming to Honeycomb salon for over two years now and absolutely love it. It’s convenient to make appointments online, the front desk staff is always friendly, and the products are great. I have seen Katelyn over the last two years and can’t say enough great things about her—she’s led me through two tough postpartum hair journey’s 🤣 She’s super knowledge and friendly, I would recommend her to anyone!

I have been seeing Wibby for a little over a year now for hand tied extensions & color. She always goes above & beyond for me! She is so good at what she does. Everyone is always so shocked when I tell them I have extensions because she makes them look so natural!! plus I love our conversations! ☺️

I love this salon! Everyone is so friendly and attentive. Katelyn always makes me feel great and does a fantastic job on my hair. I've been going here for 3 years and even continue to travel back even after moving out of town. All of the stylists are great, but I highly recommend Katelyn. I've been coming to Honeycomb Salon since I moved to Louisville three years ago. I'm a very picky person on whom I trust with my hair, and Honeycomb makes it easy to choose with a profile for each stylist and their instagrams. I chose them based on the outstanding reviews and the fact that each amazing stylist has incredible talent. Katelyn W has done wonders with my hair. I have complete trust that she will do an amazing job every time and always leave the salon with my hair being exactly what I asked for. Trust me, this is the best salon in Louisville by far!

It’s hard to find a good stylist, but to find not only a good stylist but an excellent colorist in the cutest doll house salon is a major win. I love Katelyn and Honeycomb. I’ve got thick,graying, weird curly hair and she not only gets it, she fixes me. Bonus! She’s a lovely person!
