Angela is the warmest, kindest, and funniest person. When I sat down in her salon 6 years ago, she made me feel welcomed right away, and gave me the BEST haircuts of my life. She truly listened to me - not just giving me what I asked for, but also giving my hair what it needed. I recently had to move 4 hours away, and am heartbroken to not be able to sit down and catch up with her and be taken care of by her as I always was. Run, don't walk to Honeycomb's sunny oasis of puppies, laughter, and strong feminine energy. A true act of self-care every 6-8 weeks!

Honeycomb Salon has been one of the best finds for me personally since moving to Kansas City. Angela has created a beautiful space with the best vibes, and Lydia does an amazing job on my hair every single time. I feel very comfortable there as a client who occasionally has special needs/requests. Would highly recommend to anyone in search of a salon that is unusually accessible + welcoming to all.

Angela is amazing! Not only is she a fantastic hair stylist, she is genuinely a wonderful person. She really takes time to get to know her clients, making everyone feel comforted and beautiful.

I have been following Angela since she first finished school. She is funky and fun and always down to try a new style or color. She knows how to cut my thick wavy hair so it grows out for times when I go longer between cuts and my hair always stays healthy after lightening and color. I always look forward to going into an appointment and leave feeling pampered and put together.

Honeycomb Salon has been a total gem of a find! Angela is kind, personable, and really fun to spend an hour with. She’s been cutting my hair for 2 years and every time I feel like it’s my best haircut ever! I like my hair cut very short and have found it difficult to find a stylist who truly knows how to do this. Angela has the knowledge and skill, and takes the time to get it right.

Lydia was amazing!! I have curly hair and she did a fantastic job on my color/cut, without any damage to my curls. She did exactly what I asked for and explained everything that she was doing and why she was doing it. The vibes in the salon are so warm and welcoming. Tori is an artist with the shears! I’ve never felt more at home in my hair. The style frames my face so well & has increased my confidence. Definitely recommend Tori to anyone looking for a shag/mullet style haircut!

Angela always gives the best treatment! My hair never looks better and I even get compliments months after a haircut from other stylists, asking if I just got it done and being impressed at the quality of my cut. Angela makes you feel like a million dollars not just with her technical skills but with her passion and empathy! She makes it seem like you’ve known her forever and she’s truly genuine when she says she cares for her clients and fellow stylists!

Angela is one of the best and always does such an amazing job with my hair. I even had Angela color my hair for my wedding and it turned out perfect 🥰 I also love the environment at the salon. No matter how stressed my day is, my mood is always so much better after leaving Honeycomb!! I would highly recommend Angela or any of the other stylists there and if you’re lucky you might even get to meet Angela’s dogs who are the most precious pups in the whole world. Got my hair done at this place by my fav stylist Lydia. She’s super good at shags and has been doing my hair for a while now. This place gives off a welcoming vibe for everyone and provides a variety of specialties and products for you to chose from.

Honeycomb is the best place to get all your hairs cut in KC. Angela is the most fun and always excited to do any hairstyle whether you want something unique and funky or the same cut and color you’ve had for 40 years. She asks for feedback throughout so you get exactly the style you want (or just let her do her thing and you won’t be disappointed). The salon’s dedicated to using eco-friendly products and typically you can find at least two of her precious dogs snoring in the window.

I will never let anyone but Angela at Honeycomb touch my hair for the rest of my life. When I moved back to KC a few years ago she fixed a bleaching disaster that my hair had suffered elsewhere and it looked incredible. She has always known exactly what will look good on me, even when I have barely a vague idea of what I want. I trust her completely and am always so happy with what I look like when I walk out of the shop 🧡

I’ve had my hair cut by Angela for almost a decade. I’ve followed her from bigger salon, to smaller salon, and now to her own salon! I have short hair and she’s cut in it a way to encourage my natural body/wave and also be able to wear it straight. Reasonably priced, not booked months in advance, and easy to communicate with. I definitely recommend Angela!

Went to this salon… one of the best experiences I’ve had! Super sweet, attentive and caring staff. The cutest of puppies. Lydia Hasse did such an amazing job and really captured what I was wanting. For sure one of the best places to go.
