Idk if Ari was having a hard day or something but she didn’t do my hair as I showed her. She didn’t do a face trim nor kept my layers. I didn’t see it because she curled my hair when I had asked for a blowout. I was wondering why she took half the time to cut my hair than last time. And makes sense now. Not only that but she charged me $75 instead of $60 which is the normal price! NEVER again. Such a disappointment because I have been here before and liked it. This place is going downhill. Ari was like “yeah my uncle owns this place” so that’s why you uncharged me?

I was within cancellation time frame. Your stylist offered me a refund. Personally feel if your stylist offers a refund im allowed to take it. Never yelled at you. Never raised my voice, desk lady said “yes ma’am I see where you’re coming from let me see my manager.” when he came on the phone he was already hostile & was speaking over me, he didn’t even allow me to finish before saying I’m not paying you nothing “ & hung up. I’m in the beauty industry, this is highly unprofessional hanging up on a Client is insane.

Wayyyy too expensive. Like Oh My God I want to buy the clippers and just go bald already. Keep my $30 and go out to eat. $50 for haircut, this is pushing me to never return to the salon again. They Act Like I’m a millionaire who needs my hair dyed Sky Blue for LIVESTREAM. Yall ARE TRIPPIN. 😂

Will never come back. Honest was so excited for my style but the manager was unprofessional. I’m not a mean person but he was definitely wanting to argue & fight. !! Keep away

I'm so impressed with HOTBOX salon! The service is top-notch, the stylists are incredibly talented, and the product variety is amazing. Oscar and Baldo are absolute magicians with hair - they completely understand what I want and always deliver. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and friendly. I've been going here for over 11 years and I'll never go anywhere else. As of 2024 they are in a NEW location (no longer on Bitters Rd). Baldo makes me beautiful! This salon is classy, easy to access, full of professional stylists, and has great customer service. I never have to wait as Baldo always keeps on time! Time flies by with great conversation and of course, singing. But mostly, they are hair experts of the highest aim! I will never trust my gorgeous locks to anyone else.

I went to Baldo after a previous hairstylist of 10 years had turned my hair pink from over processing it. I honestly didn't think that anyone could correct it. After a good friend referred me to Baldo I went in with little hope and to my surprise he left my hair better than it was before. I can honestly tell you that this is the best my hair has looked in all my life!!! I am forever a client. Thank you. Also his staff and salon are amazing!!!!

Hotbox is the best ever! They have wonderful rooms and separate spaces that works super well during this pandemic period. Having wonderful Safe Haven to be in, the upbeat of the workers gives a great feeling. The haircuts/styles are always at their best. My son (teen with very curly hair) will ONLY go to the HOTBOX. I have been there for over 10 years and could not venture beyond them.

Ive been coming to Baldo for over a decade. Even when I moved overseas for 7 years, I would be sure to make an appointment with him everytime I came back into town. I have never been able to find anyone else who can work the kind of magic that he can. He's an absolute artist. If you're reading this, book an appointment with him right now...(long hair or short) color and/or cut, I promise you will leave feeling like you've never looked better in your life. You're welcome.

This place is amazing. My stylist Carlo has been doing my hair for 4 yrs and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I am so happy with the services I receive. He is dedicated to detail truly exceptional at what he does. I would highly recommend this salon. The atmosphere is inviting friendly and the manager Baldo is awesome.
