I really enjoyed my full-body massage session with Kiesa. Her technique was truly impressive, and I appreciated her ability to customize the pressure to target the tension in my back and the right side of my shoulder. The deep tissue pressure was exactly what I needed, and I could feel the knots gradually releasing. The clean and tranquil environment, along with the soothing essential oils and calming music, elevated my experience to a new level of indulgence. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a wellness tea after the session, along with a herbal compress pack to take home. Overall, I left feeling incredibly rejuvenated and relaxed, with a significant reduction in tension. I highly recommend Kiesa at House Nine Wellness and Tea for anyone seeking a transformative massage experience.

Kyzen was my LMT today and I can’t wait to go back! I’m starting my wellness journey this coming year and am excited to have House 9 be apart of it. Kyzen really listened to my needs and made show I was comfortable through the entire session. I also recommend the herbal compress. You get to take it home and use 10 more times as a hot or cold compress between massages! 10/10

Marijean provided one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She listened to my needs and customized the session perfectly. Her technique was both relaxing and therapeutic, easing all my tension. I left feeling completely refreshed and renewed. I highly recommend her and will definitely return!

Molly rocks! House 9 rocks! This place rocks! I travel often and drive often so my lower back gets sore, and I try to get a massage once a week. Highly recommend!!

This is a gem of a space. The minute you walk in, the tension reduces. You are greeted with tea, which is delicious and made with the utmost care. The massage services are excellent; there is not much talking, just intuitive knowing where to focus to get the tension out. This is a place to heal the mind, body, and energy. Highly recommend.

The best herbal tea I’ve ever had. With an in-house herbalist, House Nine’s custom blends are tasty and effective. The Deep Rest blend is my favorite.

The people here are wonderful. It's a very inviting space. I'm a few months late on this review. I treated myself to a massage. The therapist was very mindful and listened to my concerns. I had a bit of back discomfort after my massage, but the overall experience was still pleasant. I love that they offer tea with treatments and that they offer other services. I wish I could afford more and frequently, as the acupuncture is very appealing. I appreciate their holistic approach and that they have created a space that provides a brief escape from the outside world. I also purchased tea, which they produced in-house. Enjoyed it! I recommend their services and will be back.

A sanctuary on Hawthorne. They offer a variety of treatment options and their tea selection is excellent. I’ve had two massages here and both were spectacular.

Don't come here there an actual karen who work at the front desk take care *hey, then please inform your employees when somebody calls 24 hours in advance, is offered a next day appointment, and discloses a disability that it won't be accomodated instead of that it can. i asked her for help and was attacked with such malice. that is evil, dawg. *

I booked a massage through ClassPass. Before booking the appointment, I contacted House Nine Wellness & Tea to make sure they honor ClassPass appointments. They said yes. A day before the appointment I got a notification that my massage was cancelled. I called House Nine Wellness & Tea and they said they bump ClassPass appointments if someone else books directly through them for the same time. She offered no apology or chance to rebook. This seems odd and was frustrating. All this to say, I never made it to my appointment but I would advise against booking through ClassPass. I managed to book a lovely massage the same day at the Foot Bar instead.

I started going to House Nine regularly after surgery to remove thyroid cancer. I've seen Katie Bowens for acupuncture and cupping, and Dodie Davey for massage. After some challenging experiences with practitioners within the hospital system, I have had the complete opposite experience at House Nine. Katie and Dodie have been integral in my healing journey -- both physically and emotionally. They have helped me worth through trauma and come out on the other side. I feel like this experience has made a lasting impact on me and my life. Additionally, the front desk staff are always so warm and helpful.

I went in for a massage on my birthday and found out minutes before my appointment that my scheduled LMT was out sick. The owner of the business stepped in to do the 90 minute session, so I was still able to get my scheduled massage. It was lovely, and I was grateful for the above and beyond service. And at the end they gave me a warm French press of tea of my choosing, to drink and come back to my body after the session. I enjoyed my session and felt taken care of. I recommend. :)

I've been coming for over a year and its always an amazing experience. I've seen 3 practioners and they're ALL really good! The front desk staff is lovely and the tea afterwards is a soothing way to transition back to the world.

This is my first experience with a massage and acupuncture and am 55 yrs old. Katie works acupuncture on my body, well twice now, but it's been amazing. She is very professional and explains everything extremely well. Dodie has performed my first massage and am scheduled for my second one next week. She is very professional as well. This is helping my stress and back pain. I highly recommend house nine wellness. I would give them a ten star but i cant. I can't forget the front office woman as they are very kind..

House Nine is great. The whole vibe is incredibly soothing and comforting. I had an hour-long massage with Cardinal and they were fantastic! I was a little nervous since I’ve only had one massage before, but they took the time to understand my concerns, put a lot of consideration into the massage based on my personal history/preferences, and made me feel very welcome and safe.
