I’ve been to this salon three times since moving here, and they do a really good job. Sam is kind, funny, and listens to your hair’s needs. She did a great job adding red to my dark hair without damaging it. Skyla is also fabulous - I used to go to her for years when we both lived in another state and I’m so grateful that she and I happen to live in the same city again because she’s amazing! Very personable, realistic with what you want to do with your hair versus what’s possible, and works with you on long term goes.

Summer is THE BEST!! I came in as a complicated order in every way! Box colored, very gray hair AND I shaved my own head!! She didn't bat an eye!! There was no judgement only love!! LOOK AT THIS AMAZING HOLIDAY DESIGN!!! She is BEYOND talented!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!! When you are ready to treat yourself...SEE SUMMER!!

Summer is hands down the best! I went to another salon and ended up with a color that I hated. Not only did Summer get back to me right away on messenger but she also got me right in to fix my color. I showed her what I was wanting and I absolutely love love love the color she did. She was super knowledgeable and sweet. I've already booked my second appointment with her because i am beyond thrilled.

I got my hair colored for the first time. Skyla was my tech. She's awesome! Skyla helped make me feel super comfortable in an unknown world. More like I was hanging out with a friend then a stranger. She is also super knowledgeable about her work!

Sarah gave me the best blonde highlights I think I’ve ever had! She nailed it! Sarah is truly an artist and also super nice and relaxing to be around. I also really like the atmosphere in the salon! Lots of color and friendly faces! Thanks again! I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Stylist ignored that I mentioned I was growing out my layers and wanted a blunt cut. I have more layers and they’re about 4inches higher than they were before. Now when my hair dries naturally it fluffs out in a diamond shape, but she swore the cut was to make the hair lay down properly. I really wanted to find a new salon home and I’m very disappointed, not to mention having to start over again growing out my layers.

Got a cut and color by Hannah Payne and I think I look cute af. Listen, finding the right hairstylist is an experience for me that is worse than dating because at least after a bad date you aren’t haunted by flyaways and brassy colors. So finding Hannah, a hairstylist who can make my particular texture of coarse, thick hair lay right was a dream come true. She listens to you and just generally has a great eye for aesthetic. Couldn’t recommend her more highly! I NEEDED this little glow up, and I’m so thankful to Hannah’s skill set for getting me there. And, just from scoping out the salon in general i can tell you really can’t go wrong with any of the stylists you might wind up with there. Just looks galore getting served on the hour. House of Color slays, especially if you’re an alternative girly looking for an edgier, more individualistic style in (let’s face it) a city filled with more conservative looks and trends.

Danielle is amazing!! She took great care of my hair and helped me go blonde without over processing. She was so patient and willing to get me the results I wanted even though it was difficult with my dry hair. She gave me great information about maintaining my hair’s health and color too. She really cares about her clients and is so good as what she does! I will def be returning to her :)

What can I say.. Danielle is a hair goddess! I’ve been seeing her for several months, working on trying to get box color black out of my hair and she has done an amazing job! Besides this project, Danielle always satisfies my hair needs with length, color, and blowouts. She’s very attentive, friendly, and ensures I leave the salon feeling fresh and satisfied with my hair. I hated my experience here. I was charged more than I was quoted. Walked out with hot, ginger roots and a color not at all was expected or discussed. And then when I reached out to have it corrected, she said I'd have to pay for another color service. So they don't even fix their mistakes.

Katelyn is a magician! We were on a time crunch and she was already multitasking and she blew it out of the water. The ladies here care about their work and it shows! Love the space - the artwork and the products. Cannot wait to return for touch ups!

House of color is such a cute little studio. Everyone there is so nice! I’ve been seeing Morgan, who I cannot recommend enough. She is so sweet, and so talented. :) she’s also given me some great recommendations for products, which I appreciate so much!

I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but to say I’ve been let down would be an understatement. I wish I could be reviewing the services here but I never got to go to my appointment- not by choice. My initial contact with HOC was very nice. The lady was friendly and got me in last minute, got me booked, and gave the stylist my information to contact me. The next morning my appointment was canceled 2 & 1/2 hours before I was supposed to be there and rescheduled for 2 days later (Friday changed to Sunday.) The next day (the day before my appointment that was rescheduled for) I was told my appointment was being switched to different stylist at a different time that same day. Which was fine. Then after talking with the new stylist the night before, I was contacted again the day of my new appointment (5 hours before) and was asked to reschedule for a week out. At that point I just had to pass on any appointments all together because I was totally defeated. I understand people get sick and things come up, but to be moved around that way multiple times just felt unprofessional.

Love this place! Love the atmosphere and the people. Morgan is my stylist and she is amazing! I have multicolored hair and she always does it perfectly plus she is fun to hang with while I’m getting my hair done. I highly recommend House of Color.

Morgan is the best! She does great work and makes sure that I am completely happy with the results. She really listens to what I am wanting and throughly explains to me what the process will be. I have been so happy with my experience each time I have came to see her. She really takes her time with my hair too. I absolutely love my hair- she made my extensions look so natural and flawless. Not only does she do an awesome job, but she is also so kind and fun to talk to. So glad I found Morgan and I HIGHLY recommend her.

My girlfriend asked for her hair to be black with large pink highlights. They dyed it all black with tiny purple highlights. It’s the completely wrong color and is no where close to what it was suppose to be. I don’t know if they are color blind or just dumb but somehow they managed to charge the full amount for the completely wrong color. They also cut off large pieces of her hair instead of just the ends light she asks. I don’t even know how you mess up entirely like that. Complete scam of a business.

There are no words to describe how amazing Morgan is, but I’ll try! When my beautiful blonde balayage that I’d had for 10+ years got fried by a stylist at a different salon, I panic called every salon in town. Morgan at House of Color was very calm, listened to me & my current situation as well as my wants and needs, and walked me through the recovery process with so much patience and care. Once I was in her chair, she treated my hair as if I would in the situation, very delicately and talked me through each step before doing it. She made me feel comfortable and confident in her abilities to revive my fried & brittle hair to a beautiful vivid purple as I asked for. She’s a delight to spend hours with and the only person in the Springs I’ll trust with my hair. 🤍

To start out this salon is sweet and my stylist was respectful and kind. But unfortionatly I didn't get at all what I wanted. Was the hair still cute yes. But there were brown spotting on the blond and looked nothing like my reference photo. I origionally asked for one hair color. But got told they wouldnt be able to do it and that the coloring was fake. So I changed my initial hair coloring. It was very expensive. I had virgin hair to start with and in the consultation I got told one thing but after the apt another. I spent 13 hours in the salon and was rush out of the chair at the end of it. I dont recomend going here if you want any color with blond, or an ombre. I had some really sweet stylists but other then that the result and money spent was to much as well as time in the chair. If you just want a nice hairstylist though definitly go.

Have been going to salons for years. Never have I been charged $500+ for a touch up on basic brown hair. They will charge you by what car you drive what purse your carry sad and price gouging !! Do not recommend 👎👎

I have been going to Paige for many years. I get so many compliments on my hair color. I know that I can always trust her to make my hair look it's best, and I always tell her to just do what she wants. (Except for purple. I won't let her do purple.😆)

I went there twice in the last year and a half. The first time, the stylist did such a great job and when I went the second time, I had a different person. She was nice but she did not do anything I asked her to do. The color was off and looked nothing like what I was asking for. She knew it did not turn out nice so she offered to fix it if I came back later. I decided not to go back because I did not trust her to fix it. For what they charge , everyone is super nice here but I guess my experience wasn’t good the second time. Maybe it depends on who does your hair.
