I used to go to Amber, the owner, and the cut was good, but this place is not safe for LGBT+ folks. She made some very rude and intolerant comments to me about people using they/them pronouns (without considering that I or someone I care about might use them) and I never went back. She also used to complain about her financial problems a lot during COVID. This place has Karen vibes. Rude. Try Jax Cuts for an inclusive place for all genders and orientations.

Leslie has been doing my hair for 15 years- I trust her expertise completely! She is always spot on with my highlights & cut. She keeps my thin hair looking healthy & natural. I'm always getting compliments! I love her spot at Hue salon! Very cute & welcoming. I highly recommend making an appointment with Leslie!

Leslie is a consumate professional. She is excellent at listening and creating the cut and color that I want while also giving good advice on what will work and what won’t. I always leave the salon feeling like a million dollars.

Love the vibe and quality of service provided at Hue Salon. Leslie is my absolute favorite 🤩. She does my hair on the regular. I look forward to my visits with Leslie. It’s like catching up with a friend versus an appointment; and her quality of work never disappoints. Highly recommend Leslie and Hue Salon to my friends and family.

My hairdresser I’ve been going to forever moved over an hour away so I thought I’d try Leslie, I’m glad I did! I have a very particular hair color of brown/red which Leslie matched to the “T”. And she cut my hair like she’s been accustomed to cutting it for years. She’s very attentive and would frequently ask if I was satisfied with what she had in mind. Very professional, but easy to talk to. I highly recommend Leslie!!

I read the attached review and decided to contact Claire. I am a person who has terrible luck with a great haircut and dread the possibility I will not like my hair which is usually what happens. My daughter pushed me to contact Claire and make an appointment. I was fortunate to have secured an appointment on a day the salon was closed due to Claire weekend getaway. She was fantastic; personality, professionalism and a great stylist. Love, Love, Love my hair! Would refer her to anyone...thank you so much Claire🦋

Claire is not just an amazing hair stylist but an ARTIST. I have long, thick hair, and no one usually is confident in cutting it, so I usually end up disappointed… But Claire took all my hair and turned it into her canvas. I legitimately haven’t had such a great haircut in years. I live in Florida, and she’s got me thinking I’ll be coming back every 6 months for a haircut that and the beauty of San Diego, too! Thanks, Claire!!

I have just recently moved to the San Diego area and needed a new hair stylist. A co-worker recommend Melanie to me and she is amazing! I highly recommend her. I have seen her twice now. We have done root touch-ups and highlights. Happy with me hair.
