I’ve been going to Hum Hair for a number of years now. I have curly, typically long hair. Scott is very knowledgeable about all hair types. He has taught me so much about my curls, and how to care for them. I have a whole new relationship with my hair because of what I have learned from Scott, along with his expert cutting skills.

Scott is an amazing human with a gift for understanding hair on a very deep level. He clearly has expertise in the art of cutting, but also channels a particular warmth while working that made me and my hair feel very at ease. I’m so particular about my hair and also very low maintenance which is an awful combination. But Scott nailed exactly what I wanted on the first try. He really listened and is a joy to talk to and learn from. He taught me more about natural hair care in an hour and a half than I learned in a lifetime, AND gave me a incredible chin length cut that still looked great after being in a ponytail and under a hat all day. I can’t recommend his work highly enough. Such a nice person and his passion is evident. Five stars all the way.

I have been going to Scott for 4 years to style my "wild" red hair with so many waves. I have been to so many expert stylists who have tried to accomplish taming my locks. It looks like that they have cut it properly but after my first shampoo, the hair reverts to its wild way. But not Scott! He is able to make it behave and it so easy to control even when I do minimal drying and very limited styling ,with no product!!! I am basically a wash and wear girl! I always look forward to my appointment knowing that I will always get an AMAZING CUT and receive so many compliments!! Scott is a kind person that loves to listen and always does his best to give the best haircut he can! He loves cutting and talking about hair. It is truly his passion in life and is always improving his expertise. I know that Scott will take care of you the way he has done with me over these many years. He will be my hair stylist forever!

I've gone to Scott for 5 years now. He previously worked for VAIN. He has been my secret weapon for my hair. I have never written a review on him fearing to let out my secret. There is no substitution for an superb hair cut. It follows you where ever you go. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
