I’ve been going to Hyde Park Nail and Beauty Bar since they first opened, and I’ve been a loyal customer for almost three years now. I recommend them to everyone because I always have a great experience. Ricky, the owner, has created a clean, professional, and welcoming environment (and the country music is a fun bonus!). Before finding this salon, I used to dread nail appointments because of the time commitment and inconsistent quality. Now, I actually look forward to it! Lihn and Hailey are my go-to for manicure designs, and everyone I’ve referred has shared positive feedback. It’s a place where I can truly relax, enjoy my time, and I walk out with great nails every time, without it taking up half my day. Hands down, the best nail salon in Tampa!

My nails are so beautiful. Love the salon very clean, nice employees. Hailey did an amazing job, she has such an eye for detail and makes sure everything looks perfect. Definitely recommend!

I just moved to Tampa and it took me a while until I find a place that I like and try as I am very picky and particular for my manicure. The place itself is nice and clean. I made an appointment and went to the salon. It was quite busy as it was a holiday. One of the manicurist started working with me and removing my old polish. Meantime a regular customer came for appointment with the same manicurist and she started working with her at the same time. When it came time to pick my color it turned out that the color that I want was out. I asked for another one from a bottle next to me but when she showed me the real color it wasn’t the one that I’d go with and I got a little confused wondering which color to pick at the end. The manicurist got frustrated because obviously she wanted to work with her regular customer and she left the working place saying to her boss that I am wasting her time and I don’t know what color I want. That was so RUDE! I am there for first time , instead of trying to make me a regular customer and be patient and nice with me, they did the opposite! I was almost about to leave , I was so disappointed and felt bad for this customer service! Then they made me waiting 20 more minutes someone else to finish my nails! Thank God that Nara helped me and was patient and very polite and did my nails very nicely! Only because of her I am giving this place a star!I would not go there anymore! Not at a place with rude employees!

5 stars! They made time to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning. Lynh went above and beyond and the owner is very professional and down to earth! They do an amazing job and I recommend!

I wish I had found this place sooner! Linh did an awesome job on my dip manicure. The atmosphere is relaxing and chic, they have tons of colors to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. Super happy with the experience and with my nails!

I’m a guy and once every year or so I treat myself to a pedicure and this is the best place I’ve ever been to. Everyone there is so nice, and Jully did an amazing job. Even gave me a Truly seltzer to drink while she did my pedicure. Awesome place!

So impressed with the services I received today! The attention to detail from both the nail techs was amazing for both the gel pedicure and acrylic fill in/design. The girl who did my acrylic manicure told me to leave a review for her under the name Queen and she is so amazing! So sweet and social-able but also a really talented artist. Can’t wait to come back for my next fill 💕

I had to make a review for this place as soon as I finished up my appointment! I am a UTampa student and booked an appointment yesterday on their website. It was super simple and I got to pick a nail tech! I decided on Hailey Pham from seeing good reviews from her. I went today in between classes, came in for my appointment at 1:30pm, paid and walked out by 2:11pm! These nails were beautiful! I attached some photos. I was a little nervous due to the bad reviews I had read, but I trusted my gut to give it a try! I’m so glad I did! The place had a great atmosphere, the owner immediately greeted me as I walked in kindly and I was taken care of! Hailey was so sweet and did such a great job on my nails, she made me feel comfortable and got to have some good small talk. They were also affordable!! It is right next to my school and I love getting my nails done. This place will be my regular nail salon with the cute atmosphere, nice owner and staff, great work on my nails, and pricing. Super happy!

When it comes to finding the right nail salon in tech, you can’t go wrong with Hyde Park nails. If a nail salon is using cheap acrylic, tips in powder and your nails are lifting within a week to two weeks there’s a problem you won’t find that at this location Dedicated nail techs that make sure every stroke is done with profession. Bubbled gel coats are completely unacceptable and I don’t know how any other nail place can thrive on reviews with nails that look disoriented of that nature. These are details that any person should pay close to when going to a nail salon or finding that nail tech that does the right job and quality here at Hyde Park nails you will find your expectations being met above and beyond with quality acrylic powder, quality gel, and nail techs all around.

Best nail shop in Tampa. I have followed Rikki and Linh to any shop they were at prior to them opening this shop. I recently relocated to outside of the city and still drive an hour to get my nails done here. I won’t go anywhere else.

Came here with my friend and will literally never be coming back solely because of the treatment my friend got. She asked for yellow polish for a regular manicure, the tech brought out swatches of blue polish ?? After she started to paint her nails the color my friend requested, she REFUSED to finish the manicure and took the color OFF and handed her two shades of pink and told her to pick one? Not only did she have the color she wanted and refused to use it (????) but the polish bubbled and was still wet after 40 minutes...whoever answered the phone was also awful and only offered a 10$ refund when my friend said she couldn't come in for a repaint because she had to go straight to work and said the tech "did what she was supposed to do"...but couldn't even use the right color my friend wanted. The whole experience was incredibly rude and uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend touching this unprofessional establishment (which you can see in their replies to other low rated reviews) with a 10 foot pole. Better off doing it yourself at home where you can at least get what you wanted. Waste of $40

Had an appointment at 630pm last night and when I got there they way over booked and started arguing in front of me with one another. Already super uncomfortable there and then they rushed to get my appointment handled and my nails have already chipped and they didn’t clean up around the nail well at all. Super disappointed. Linh was supposed to be my tech and given all the arguing I have no idea who did them.

I could not recommend this nail salon enough! I had an appointment on a Friday evening, and although it was very busy with walk-ins, they made sure to take me right away at my scheduled time. I appreciate a nail salon that sticks to their reservation schedule. Ricky, the owner, was incredibly efficient but at the same time precise. I am picky with my nails and he did an excellent job. I got an acrylic fill which can sometimes become thick, but he made sure they were elegant and thin, without being brittle. The prices are also very reasonable for the area, especially for the Hyde Park area. I have found my new nail salon in Tampa! Thank you Ricky and Hyde Park Nails for your hard work and dedication!

It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review because I used to enjoy coming here. Today, however, the service didn’t meet the standard I was used to. I called ahead to schedule a gel manicure and pedicure fill, and I was assured they could accommodate both services simultaneously within the hour. The pedicure itself was well done, but I noticed the polish was poorly applied. The lines on my French pedicure were crooked, and it clearly needed an additional base coat. Additionally, one of my fingernails had been prepped for the manicure that never happened. About 40 minutes in, I realized no one had started on my hands, so I politely inquired. The technician apologized, saying the person assigned to my manicure was still busy. I assured her it was okay, but by the time I noticed how bad the polish looked, I only had about 12 minutes before I needed to leave. I didn’t have time for them to fix it. They charged me only for the pedicure and not the gel polish, which was appreciated. However, when I called about 20 minutes later to ask if I could come back for them to fix the polish and complete the manicure, the manager rudely cut me off, asking when I’d like to come in. This was surprising, as he had been polite during my previous visits (I’ve been here twice before). I expressed my disappointment and pointed out that this was clearly a mistake on their end, but instead of offering any real solution, he seemed uninterested in my concerns and hung up abruptly before I could explain further. I’m a professional and was disheartened by this experience. Based on other negative reviews, it seems I’m not alone in feeling this way. While the salon itself looks great and I’ve had good experiences in the past, the way I was treated today was unacceptable.

Richi the owner runs this place very professionally, give great service and all manicurists are excellent, no matter what kind of manicure you request. He seems to always ready for whatever shows up. It s hard for me to always make appointments because of my schedule but have never been turned down. I am so glad I found this place. it saved my life!!!

Ricky has been and always will be such a sweet heart and an amazing host, not only are his nails great the overall atmosphere of the salon is welcoming. I’ve known Ricky since he worked at a Tampa Nails Location, and hence since have only come to his salon. Lynn is also very extravagant with her nail designs 100/100 would return again!

amazing!!!! Everyone was so sweet and i love the way they fixed my old set like it’s brand new. Shaping is 10/10 and the french design is 10/10. My new go to!! Cannot wait to come back. Also the cutest most friendliest pomeranian dog ever greets you when you walk in :)
