I have been a client of Hygeia and Marcy. She is by far the best massage therapist I have ever gone to and trust me I suffer from a lot of aches and pains due to my side business. She is highly professional and extremely good at what she does. Don't waste your time going to the box massage franchises. You need to go to Hygeia.

Marcy is the best, I have so many health issues that cause me terrible pain and she is the only thing that helps. When I tore my rotator cuff she was able to work with me to alleviate my pain. Just one of the many ways she has helped me. Highly recommended her , she is great at what she does and has an absolute passion for it.

I have been seeing Marcy for almost 6 years…initially just quarterly “wellness” massages. Recently I have experienced new shoulder and lower back discomfort due overdoing it at the gym and golf. Marcy was very accommodating, got me in quickly and started me on the road to recovery in short order. She is also knowledgeable in exercise therapy, vitamins and preventative stretching. Highly recommend her services whether it’s for wellness or injury recovery.

I have been seeing Marcy for over 20 years for massage. She has helped me through many injuries and I consider her a part of my wellness team! Her new location at Hygeia Spa & Fitness is by far the most relaxing! Thanks Marcy! I have also had the opportunity to use Anthony as a personal trainer. I've worked with several trainers over the years. Anthony is not only knowledgeable, he pays close attention to each exercise to insure proper form and to make sure you are getting the most from your workout. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his ability to listen to my goals as well as my concerns regarding injuries and weave both into my workout! I really appreciated the private workout space. No waiting for equipment and no distractions from others! Hygeia Spa & Fitness is a wonderful place to rejuvenate on every level!

Marcy’s 80 minute massage is amazing. So often even a massage of this length doesn’t seem like enough time. However, Marcy is able to give expert attention to every body part and, at the end, I felt both fully relaxed and fully invigorated. Can’t wait to return to Sarasota next winter to treat myself to another 80 minute session with her.

I have had great experience with both of the owners of this small business. Anthony August has been my personal trainer for almost two years. In that time he has helped me transform my body. I lost weight, built muscle, and I am now in the best shape of my life. I went from a size 10/12 to a size 2. Though my fitness journey he has been supportive and helped me see that I can do it. I had to put in the work - but he guided me through. I have had one massage from Marcy. I was in really bad shape and she found time for me and did a great job.
