I've been coming here since they opened almost 10 years ago! I highly recommend Muna if you want to grow your eyebrows or preserve them/ have sparse eyebrows. Muna understands to not over-thread and takes her time. I drive a half hour every couple months to see her

Fara has been doing my eyebrows since 2020. No matter what neighborhood I live in I’m always coming back to Ideal Salon specifically for her. She’s the best at cleaning up my eyebrows while leaving them thick and beautiful. She’s the sweetest lady and always finishes the service with a temple massage. Will forever recommend her and this place to anyone who asks why my eyebrows look so good:)

I highly suggest selecting Muna as the one to thread eyebrows. She has a very sweet personality and disposition. I've been coming to this place for almost a year, and today got my eyebrows done here by Fara. Every time I come in she's very critical of my eyebrows, tells me I pluck too much on the ends, but I don't pluck my ends, and I tell her that every time she brings it up. Threads too thin, and always tells me to come back in 2 weeks and my eyebrows will be "so much thicker", hair doesn't grow like that. Today I told Fara to not pluck over a keloid scar that I have on the inner corner of my right eyebrow, since I'm growing hair over it to cover it up. During the session she continously poked my eye with one of her fingers which made the experience more uncomfortable. Once she was done, my eyebrows were visibly uneven and too thin because she plucked my left brow too much and she plucked most of the hair growing over my keloid. Once I told her this she said I had makeup covering it, but I didn't. I didn't need makeup because the hair was growing back, and I told her that as well, and she responded very condescendingly "oh wow, okay. Really? Oh wow" and would smirk at the fact that I was upset. My hair is thin and takes a long time to grow, especially covering a keloid. I had Muna do my eyebrows last month, she was able to manage NOT plucking the hair covering my keloid like I had asked, and kept my eyebrows even. For some reason, Fara continously makes my eyebrows slightly uneven in the past and I have to wait a full month before Moona can fix them, since they have opposing schedules. I don't know if Fara was in a bad mood but she handled this situation very poorly. I don't understand how I can have 2 different experiences from 2 different women working at the same shop, but Muna is the lady to go to. Unfortunately, I have to wait a month, maybe more, to see her so my hair can grow back and fix Fara's mistake, which is my final experience with her.

Amazing!! She was so thorough and caring. It had been months since I’ve gotten anything done. It usually takes a while for me to find an eyebrow lady that threads so efficiently and also asks your input. She really cares to make you look amazing when you leave. ALSO she gave me the best face massage! I have never gotten that from any eyebrow lady I’ve ever been to my whole life. I went after work so I love the hours. The facial massage after work, such a game changer! Thank you SO much Muna! Found my new Chicago eyebrow lady!

I have been going here a few years now. I don’t go consistently as I touch up my own brows. But when I do go Muna always takes care of my brows. She’s very attentive and takes her time. I am a bit fidgety because of my contacts and she’s great with making sure I position myself right. Definitely get lots of compliments. Go see Muna at Ideal Salon, it’s totally worth it!

First time coming to the salon. The ladies working there were very nice. I got my eye brows threaded. It had been a HOT minute since I had gotten them done well. These ladies did an amazing job and it did not hurt AT ALL. I will be coming back! Awesome service!

I have been coming here for 5 years now, and I cannot recommend this place enough. I feel so well taken care of every time I come. Unlike other places, they actually care about your eyebrows and take the time to shape your eyebrows to compliment your face. Fara makes it painless and will take the time to answer any questions you may have. I live 20 minutes away, and I still drive to Lakeview East just to go see her. If you are afraid that it will be painful, take a chance and go see Fara. You can thank me later.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I am very selective on who touches my brows so when I moved out here I honestly didn't know where to go. I came here and I have been coming back every two weeks for about a year now. Fara is the woman who does my brows and she does my brows exactly how I like them. I have also never had painless threading till I came here! Of course there is a pinch but compared to all of the other places I've been to this is the least pain I've experienced.

Price is good but then I started seeing them double dip during my Brazilian then adding wax on certain parts like inside me very near to where the hair way but too much in me. Then pours baby oil carelessly all in my private part probably going to cause an infection!

Really disappointed with my waxing experience here. The staff's constant jokes about my body hair were disrespectful. Being friendly is nice, but this crossed the line. Despite arriving at 2:30 pm, I was repeatedly told they don't take appointments after 4 pm, which made me feel rushed. Although we finished before 4 pm, they rushed the process, making me uncomfortable. This unprofessional treatment is why I won't be returning.

Fara is the best! I have come to this salon religiously every 3-4 weeks to get my eyebrows and lip threaded/waxed. They do a great job with very reasonable prices. The best part is the lotion/gel massage after. Definitely would recommend!
