tried to go here but the vibes were weird. my stylist wouldn’t even say hello to me and just wanted to know what i wanted done. it was really unwelcoming to the point that i got up and left with anxiety.

I had an incredible experience today! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, relaxing, and welcoming. The team offered me a drink of choice, setting the tone for a memorable experience. Iyn Alvarez worked magic on my faded, almost no color balayage, transforming me into a bombshell! His scalp massage, hair color, and toning skills are unmatched - I'm obsessed! Jacquie nailed the cut, delivering flawless 90s layers with custom bangs. She's a true pro! Both very humble, fun and professional! 💫

I went to IGK Miami for the first time last month and got a haircut (wash, cut, and blow-dry + style) with Jacquie and I absolutely loved it! Aside from being super friendly and nice she is very talented and a perfectionist. She really took her time making sure my cut was perfect. I showed her some inspo photos and she nailed it, I really love how my hair turned out!! I got long layers, face frame and took out some weight. Would definitely go back to Jacquie and I really recommend booking your appointment with her because you will love her!

I’ve come here now a few times for either a cut or a standard blow dry. I’m always very happy with the results with my hair and my hair stylists have always been professional and good at their work. However the people at the front desk could learn to smile and be a bit more friendly to clients coming in.

Laura is amazing with haircuts! She really takes the time to listen and work on your hair. The stylists that have blow dried my hair have also always been kind. If it was based on this alone, I would give 5 stars. I had a gloss treatment done and i loved it, so i decided to go back for a color appt with Julianne. she was very kind and i thought the consultation went well. about halfway through my service, one of the assistants took over putting the color on and i didn’t really see my stylist for the rest of the appointment, except at the end when it was blow dried. i had to point out a huge chunk of my hair that was left un colored while in the middle of the service to the assistant. at the end it didn’t come out how i wanted. Some of the tones were warmer than I expected, although with the salon lighting and being far from the mirror, i couldn’t tell until i was home. I texted the salon and they had me come in for a quick retouch and it was a bit better but not what i wanted or paid for. I’ve stood at the reception desk and have been ignored multiple times - most act like they are too good to be there with the exception of one. I forgot her name but she had brown hair. She was the only positive receptionist i had. My color service was over $600 (before tip) and i ended up going to another salon to try and fix it, but they said it was damaged beyond repair and i had to cut off most of hair. I don’t mind when assistants help out, but to pay this amount and not have it done properly by the stylist is not a good look for IGK. the whole experience was overpriced and overrated.

Paid $600 and asked very clearly and with pictures for what I wanted- spent 4 hours at the hair salon 3 weeks after having a newborn and wanting to feel better about myself and came out with a full blonde highlights after asking for a bronze look and even clarifying to Lexy that I wanted it to look like her hair. Now I’m home waiting for my hair to recover before finding someone else to fix this $600 mess and feeling worse than I did when I came in. I came with nine months of beautiful virgin brown hair and came out with over dyed over treated full head of bright neon highlights and burnt ends. Somebody HELP.

Stay away!! This place charged my card for $128 without my authorization (fraud) and they claim it’s a cancellation fee; which they do not disclose on their website nor when they confirm appointments. Maybe just maybe—invest into front desk staff who aren’t lazy and actually know how to pick up a phone and note cancellations instead of charging clients for appointments/services they didn’t receive and sending out texts like “ Thanks for Choosing us please don’t forget to Review your services today” followed by a credit card charge for services NOT provided. Farrah,the manager doesn’t return call backs requests either. Just simply awful the way this salon operates.

Laura is a true professional! She’s quite literally my hair hero! I asked for one thing but she knew better and gave me what I was envisioning but not asking for correctly!
