Ilona is great! She even found a hair color that is gentle on my scalp as I have a sensitive scalp. I really appreciate the attention she pays to her clients. She has also always been super flexible and accommodating schedules. Would not recommend for haircut.

After reading the great reviews here I decided to book with Ilona for a hair styling. WOW! She is absolutely intuitive and her skills with my wavy/curly hair were fantastic. She listened and communicated well. She styled my hair and also did my makeup for an event. I am beyond happy with her work. I feel gorgeous and the style she created is better than anything I could have asked for. BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Ilona has been my stylist for around 15 years now, first in the Bay Area and then after she moved to LA - with me flying her up to the Bay Area. Because Ilona is worth it. She's deeply intuitive, which is critical for a stylist because many of them don't listen. Ilona does, but not only does she listen she can translate what you want into the cut you end up with and this is a skill many stylists lack. This is one of the reasons I fly her to the Bay Area monthly, because when you find a stylist like her, you don't give them up. Ilona has traveled with me to music festivals overseas and cut hair on the edge of the Sahara and she's always turned out a superior product. As a diplomat I frequently have to engage in public speaking and she makes sure my hair always looks its best.

I've been here a few times now, and it's always a great experience. Ilonar is very kind, knowledgeable and makes your hair look exactly how you want it. She's easy to talk to, and she also makes sure everything is how you like it throughout the whole process. The location is her own personal salon, with cute cats! A+

Ilona is a dream stylist. She originally gave me a diva cut which turned my thick and messy curly hair into something that had an organic bounce. We helped me with styling tips and products that would actually work with my curls. Normally stylists wet my hair and cut it the way they cut someone with wavy or straight hair. But that would always turn out terrible because it wasn’t meant for curls. Very nice not to feel ashamed for having thick curly hair anymore. We recently did pink balayage for my hair and it’s so fun and cute! Honestly great service and fast worker. Everything has been great and I’m excited for future appointments!

I love getting my haircut with Ilona because she is such a passionate artist and you can tell she really loves what she’s doing. There is a difference with her and other stylists I’ve been to in the past .. it’s not like she’s just ‘cutting my hair’ I can feel her energy & creativity pouring through and it shows in my haircuts. On top of that, she’s such a wonderful and positive person to be around, that I truly look forward to my haircuts with her. Can’t recommend her services enough .. she’s a rare gem in this town!
