1. Inappropriate behaviors happening in the men section - establishment is aware and chooses to ignore the issue. 2. I’ve seen staff mocking other women’s physiques behind their back.

Anytime we’re in SF for a long weekend we come and enjoy this Spa. It is a traditional Korean Spa set up, and while smaller than some I have been to, it has all the amenities to relax and decompress. I love the steam sauna and cold plunge. I usually get a scrub here as well and it’s an experience but leaves your skin smooth and feels so good for the lymphatic system. Moving stagnation and providing balance. There is so much extroversion in big cities and to me this place is a little gem of relaxation and rest. Thank you Imperial Spa!

Fills a need for local baths adequately, very responsive to texts and requests; wish there was a hotter or non-chlorinated pool, excellent steam room, massage and scrubs are good. No food or TV, not an all-day hangout. Parking mostly street, but seems a good neighborhood.

My massage therapist was super rough. I understand about the scrub part and have had that treatment before, however, my gal threw me around the table and was really rough even when massaging my face! I got the Wholesome package thinking i was splurging but instead it was a bit torturous. After the scrub, they scrub you with SALT which is on your freshly scrubbed and a bit raw skin and then wrap you up in a Mylar bag with the salt still on and under you. It was uncomfortable. In the future I’ll stick to the regular scrub, with the cucumber facial and leave it at that.

This was my first scrub experience and it was nice. The space was clean and everyone was nice. Upstairs I missed the signage about changing into shorts before going into salt and clay ball rooms. Moving the signs next to the doors with an arriving pointing towards the shorts would be helpful. I wanted to experience the massage but booked too late. Don’t wait to book your services the day before if you want more than a scrub.

i was there a few days ago and it’s worth the trip , enjoy the jacuzzi’s hot water and the “ Dry and Wet Sauna “ .10.23.4.

Expensive and not enjoyable. My sister and I went as this place was recommended in Condé Naste - not sure why. The scrub was terrifyingly painful, I was freezing lying on a plastic bed being splashed with boiling water then lying in the cold air. Everything was so cheap and ugly - giant plastic buckets, plastic covered beds that look like something out of a horror movie. Didn’t even go in the spa as it didn’t look clean or inviting. No amenities, aside from a pot of boiling water and some cheap crackers. Massage was average and not relaxing at all. Do not recommend and wish we could get a refund. Only good for laughing about afterward at how bad it was.

The spa experience is simple but very effective. All you want is a super hot tub, hot hot hot sauna and steam room, and an ice cold plunge. The acupressure is great and the scrubs peel away many layers. But I want to say something special about the staff. I lost an item and assumed it was gone so good. The housekeeper found it on the floor and made sure I was reunited with it. I am so grateful to the team there.

Worst experience ever!!! Facilities are not standard. They charge for every small thing. If you are planning to put money in the meter, check your car or getting some fresh air don’t bother coming back. They do not let you get back in and do not mention it anywhere!!! Worst $40 I ever spent.

I went there for the scrub. It was 80$. Included use of the sauna Jacuzzi and ice plunge water. The place was clean, the scrub was average. I didn't feel like it was a massage at all .. just exfoliation.

Raves: Very nice establishment, great availability for services. Steamroom was great, and the hot tub was actually very warm. The lady did an excellent job on the acupressure. Preferences: more sauna rooms (for the men) and colder plunges. Got a few bruises from the scrub.

Great place to unwind. The scrub was very relaxing. It's a clean place but not necessarily luxe. It's adequate for the price. I'll go back.

I made an appointment here THEN read the reviews and thought about canceling. So glad I didn’t. This place is really great. I got the pineapple package. Scrub. Massage. And some other body ointment treatment. The whole experience was great. I wish I would have made an appointment later to use the facilities more. They have a jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, steam room and some other rooms I didn’t get a chance to check out. I will def be back anytime I’m in the Bay Area.

came in to check out their service... seems like guys like going here but the place gave off shabby and sexist vibes. I ended up trying a different spa.
