I went to get a haircut at this salon for The first time. I asked for a quick trim of my dead ends because my hair was damaged. The stylist completely cut most of my hair, leaving me with such an awful short very THIN bob with weird layers. Nothing like I asked for. Then she told me not to be sad after I told her this is not what I asked..since I’m pregnant I just left but I can’t even put my hair up anymore. She apologized and went on to charge me. There’s nothing I can do with my hair now. She completely changed my look to something I did not want. I payed full price for this haircut that I can’t even believe I have.

I got my nails done (acrylic with nail art) and let me just say, Ileanis is absolutely amazing at what she does!!!!! Service is top tier, super friendly, attentive, and gave me exactly what I was looking for. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve seen David several times this year with the same requested haircut. My last haircut with him was unfortunately a poor experience. He introduced himself to me and said “it’s nice to meet you” when I’ve seen him 3 times this year for a haircut. The wash felt rushed with intermittent moments of freezing water. I could tell David was frustrated about some problem with the hair washing station and his frustration unfortunately projected onto his interactions with me during my appointment. I communicated while he was cutting my hair that a lot of length was being taken off and he “well you asked for long layers”. I mentioned that this is not normally what we usually do and he argued with me. He asked after cutting my hair “you part your hair in the middle right?” Which I found inappropriate as he had already cut my hair. David was rude and showed very little care or empathy when I communicated my concern. He didn’t try to understand my perspective, didn’t apologize or make me feel heard which is really disappointing. If you’re interested in In Style, I wouldn’t recommend David.

I've been here a dozen times at least. I'm always happy with my results and how quickly they fit me in. Krsna is the absolute best! She is very detailed oriented and takes her time with to make sure you are happy with her service. My manicure and pedicure last a very long time. Highly recommend!!

Alba ruined my eyebrows during threading . I told her multiple times I just wanted to clean up. I didn’t want her to shape and thin them out. She did what she wanted and did not listen to me. The receptionist was very helpful however I would never recommend going to Alba unless you want to bleed and have half your eyebrows plucked off

Ashley is the best!! I got my hair highlighted by her and cut off a couple inches! Came back a few months later for another cut! I have curly/wavy hair and she cuts it to perfectly complement that style!

My first haircut at In Style was amazing! Jessica was a great listener and so talented with hair! I loved how my hair came out and I could tell she took her time and carefully used great detail! She’s also so sweet, we had good conversations during the cut. Can’t wait to go back to her next time I need a haircut. Thank you!!!

Had a Brazilian wax with Alba and it was amazing! First off - the price was super reasonable. She also made me feel very comfortable, and is so gentle (as gentle as waxing can be…) The room was very clean, relaxing music playing and she gave me great aftercare tips! Highly recommend.

I went in for an express pedicure and didn’t go as I hoped. The nail tech was very sweet but lacked quite a bit of skill. She barely scrubbed my feet (I’m guessing out of trying to be gentle) applied the sponge and scraped the solution downward off my foot. With the sugar scrub, lathered my foot, but did not scrub it in. Most nail techs would I’ve had work on my feet for a good 2 minute on each step and making sure the skin exfoliate. My feet are STICKY. There’s too much nail polish on my toes and the nail tech stated it will take more than 2 hours for it to dry completely. Again, the tech was super sweet but my nails are all not similar in shape, barely filed, still have sugar on them, and noticeably chunky application of the polish.

I won't tell you who cuts my hair because I want to be able to make reservations with her :) but she is a spectacular barber. Facility is clean as a whistle. Staff is all super friendly. Rates are proper, not cheap. You get what you pay for and more here.

I’ve been coming to see Ashley here for years. Hard to imagine a better experience. Everyone’s friendly, and I always leave with a perfect haircut. 10/10 would reccomend.

I just had an amazing pedicure with Svetlana. She is absolutely a master of her craft. It had been a while since I had a pedicure and my nails were in sad shape. Lana was so precise & made sure my nails were in the best condition possible. The detail and care she has for clients is evident. I will definitely be booking with Lana again.

I love driving up to this salon and spa! It’s in a beautiful location both inside and out! Upon entering I always feel relaxed and excited for my services with my stylist Lindsey Morgan! I’ve seen her for highlighting and a cut. She’s so kind and makes you feel very comfortable from beginning to end. She’s very patient and focused and produces an amazing end result. I always leave happy and like a new person!

I love this salon/spa, the smell and it’s huge! Prices are good, Carolyn was/is my hairstylist there and she is amazing, she always makes sure to make me feel as comfortable as possible, she’s also very knowledgeable. I also discovered that they have GM Collin as their skin care products and I personally love them and it’s really hard to find salons/spa with those products. Overall a great experience! Totally recommend!

I’m so thrilled with how my blowout came out! I came in needing a deep conditioning treatment and a blowout. Carolyn did an amazing job!!! To give some background I have super textured, coily, curly type 4b and 4c hair. Carolyn detangled my hair not only effortlessly but also super efficient. Throughout the full service I felt she was expeditious and super attentive to my personal hair needs. I will definitely be rebooking with Carolyn!!

Michelle did a great job with my reconstruction treatment. However, It’s a shame that the front desk can not comprehend basic requests. When I made an appointment I asked for my hair to be treated and have a blower done. I specifically asked the front desk if the hair was going to be styled as opposed to just dried, and she said yes. This was not the case. Michelle explained to me that I had to add it as an add on especially since my hair was long. I have no issue with this, but that’s not what was told to me over the phone. If I were the manager, I would make sure my front desk is well aware of what the customer is requesting for and book it correctly. As I waited since Saturday to have this appointment for Monday and I left the salon without an actual blow out since it was not “scheduled”. I do not plan on returning as this would have been an issue if I had an important meeting or event to attend to.

Saw Lindsey today at In Style Salon in Baldwin Park and my hair is a 10 out of 10. She did an amazing job listening to what I wanted, making sure she understood/we were on the same page and explained the process throughout. My hair looks the best it has in a long time and I’m so excited to have found a stylist I can trust, who is also right down the road from me. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend!

Today I had the pleasure of having an “In Style signature facial” with Alba. I’ve had many great services there and today was no different. Alba’s kindness and demeanor is equal to her skill and professionalism. Everything was very clean, thorough, and SO relaxing. Even the extractions, which are always terrible, were very tolerable. This is a testament to her skill level and care. She explained each product and process, but allowed me to fully relax into the massage and pampering. I would recommend Alba and In Style to anyone looking for a true experienced professional!
