After bouncing around from salon to salon in the Indy region, I found Emily at Indy Mane!!! I love seeing Emily. She takes her time and makes sure she really understands what I’m trying to achieve with my hair before starting. Environment is a 10/10 because everyone is so friendly.

I have loved my visit and results every time I stop in here. They are always so nice and welcoming! Brittney does an exceptional job with my hair. She always delivers and exceeds my expectations when I bring her an idea. I love reds and its varying shades, so no small feat that she nails it every time. Ali is absolutely incredible! I have been a client of hers since 2021. I have been blonde, bronde, brunette and now cherry cola red and she has killed every single cut and color. Everyone in the salon works together to make sure appointments stay on time. You can tell that each stylist is knowledgeable and passionate. If you are looking for a stylist that listens, knows what she’s doing and is super sweet, book with Ali the mane artist!! I’ll follow her anywhere.

I have been seeing Emily at Indie Mane Downtown for about two years. I’ve always felt nervous about hairstylists because I am particular about my hair. However, Emily has been nothing short of excellent. She always listens to what I want and delivers it flawlessly. I saw her again on Tuesday and wanted to add some black to my existing red color. Even though I was a bit nervous, she assured me that we could start small and add more if I liked it. Emily always has fantastic ideas and communicates them effectively. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this confident with a hairstylist before.

Very very disappointed. I lost a lot of hair volume. My hair was handled very badly and pulled so much during the wash that my scalp hurt for three days. And when I asked I want layers in my hair, the stylist was just using weight removing scissors and told me she is giving me layers. Was unfriendly and didn't even see the inspiration photos. Hair wash method alone put me off. Extremely disappointed with the service for the price paid and the reputation.

Julia helped me out big time with my hair! I was so nervous coming in because I just had a terrible experience with a tone at another salon and I was so worried that my hair wasn’t going to look the same. She worked with me for so long after I was supposed to initially be done and even adjusted the color to make it perfect. Her and other stylists made sure I really liked how it looked before letting me leave. They were so professional and really cared about communicating very clearly about what exactly we were doing with my hair. It really helped me know what was happening and it felt like I was collaborating on the style. I love my hair and spending a couple hours with it now in different types of lighting confirmed that!

We came in during Taylor Swift weekend. The only good thing about the services were that we got in. Our appointments were at 1:30 and we both had to fix our hair before the show at 6. My hair was nothing as I requested. I requested it to be big crimped/perm look. I got a very basic curl. I asked the stylist to at least NOT brush out the curls to give it a more full perm look to match the Taylor Swift hair. She brushed it out anyways. I filed a review a month ago and was advised someone would reach out to me and no one did. The pricing was different per stylist. The one I received was more expensive as she did bridal hair. The way nothing held up, I’m not sure how they did bridal styles to last hours. throughout the service I tried as well as my daughter to redirect the stylist and reiterating what I wanted and showing the inspo photo again. All attempts were disregarded. All around it was a poor experience and not worth the money spent

Just wish they would answer the phone. 9/10 if i call i don’t get an answer. I have a burning question and have tried to call several different times on several different days and no answer 😭 other than that i love the salon and getting my 2nd Brazilian blowout next week!

This salon is AMAZING. I brought my sister in who was a Big challenge. Her hair had not been touched for a very long time. The stylists, Assistants and the Salon Owner stepped up to the challenge with absolutely no hesitation. This was no small feat it literally took 5 hrs from start to finish. They were all so positive and showed no judgement. This was really a very emotional moving experience seeing them all work as a team, determined to make a difference in this person's life. They are beyond exceptional and caring people. What a Great Experience!

Devyn did a great job both times she's done my hair now! On my first visit, she brightened me up and gave me a fantastic haircut. We did a little tone and trim on my next and she adjusted the toner to be more my liking when I felt I'd prefer a little less ashiness. She does a great job at the consult and then executes wonderfully! She's super sweet and fun to chat with, but doesn't have to fill every silence which is appreciated in long appointments 😅 After my last stylist stepped away from her chair for the foreseeable future, I'm super happy to have found someone great so quickly!

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and i was very impressed. To start, the salon is stunning. It is very welcoming and has a fun atmosphere. The stylists there are super friendly and seem to all help eachother out. I personally had Madelyn as my stylist and she took my inspo pic on pinterest and turned it into a reality! On top of everything, the price was fair for the time and work she put it. I 10/10 recommend this salon to anyone.

Got my haircut by a friend .( Stefani light). Despite the girly decor I felt as though I got a great haircut as a man and had absolutely no problems. All of the stylists were friendly and it was at a convenient location for me.

I am beyond thrilled with my results. I worked with stylist Kenzy and I was requesting an “expensive brunette” color that was difficult to achieve with the hair I walked in with. Kenzie listened to everything I wanted and provided an amazing consultation. She will work with you to get you exactly what you hope for, and she is extremely sweet, diligent, and talented. I would recommend her to anyone nervous about relocating into a new salon :)

I recently came in for a haircut and all over color with Emily M and she did so good! I have really long hair (around 30 inches) so I’ve been nervous to go somewhere. I’m naturally strawberry blonde and she created the perfect copper/red shade for me. It’s so natural and pretty! She cut the perfect amount off too. The price was definitely worth it considering how much hair she had to deal with. Shes very friendly and did everything perfectly. I’m so glad I finally have a salon and stylist I can regularly see (:
