Devan did my makeup for an event, it looked really good and stayed on for over 12 hours. I would definitely recommend!! I’ve also gotten my hair cut here in the past and loved how it turned out

My husband purchased me a gift card from the salon for $250 almost a year ago. I’ve tried to make appointments online but can’t use my gift card. They require a credit card and I’ve tried to call and leave messages. I get no response and I’ve sent a few emails again. I get no response so basically the salon has stolen, my money. I am also a salon owner. I would never do this to a potential client, especially over a significant amount of money. Still no response!!!!!

I had my first haircut at Indigo yesterday afternoon and absolutely love my cut! Shawna did a fantastic job ~ I will be going back & referring my friends/family! 😊 plus, Shawna is a awesome & kind person!

I photographed Rebekah getting her bridal makeup and hair done here in 2022. I loved the vibe of Indigo Salon. The lighting is beautiful and the space is great for bridal parties to relax while getting ready. The makeup was also beautifully done and her skin was FLAWLESS for photos. I highly recommend it.

Went there for the first time today and it was a breath of fresh air. Shawna worked miracles on my dry and damaged hair and did beautiful blending with old color. Fun spot, super relaxing. Waxing services also took notch! Calm, clean environment with special care.

Heather was the first stylist I worked with at Indigo when I came in for a full color and cut. She was an absolute gem to work with and did my first balayage ever. It came perfectly blended and looked beautiful! I booked Heather and Sarah for my wedding hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids and we all looked STUNNING. I don’t think I could have found a better salon that offers quality services for such a fair price. Highly recommend!

I came in to town and needed a eyebrow wax. My friend recommended Indigo Salon. I was greeted by the owner Shawna Conners. She was so sweet and took such great care of my request. I ended up getting my wax and products there. Great atmosphere, comfortable and friendly. I will for sure be back. Thank you!!

All I can say is WOW. Staff and Atmosphere are so fantastic. I’ve always felt appreciated and loved as soon as I arrive. Every employee quickly becomes a friend and they take care of me and make me RELAX like no one else can. The prices are affordable and they are so accommodating to precautions due to COVID. I’m so so happy to have a place like this in my life. Thank you guys for being YOU!

I never got facials or even got my hair done regularly as often times for some reason or another things would not turn out to my satisfaction. That all changed when I started to going to indigo I always leave feeling like a goddess. Customer service is top notch and they are super knowledgeable. Highly recommend Indigo salon

I’ve had my lashes and hair color at Indigo Lashes: I had them done by the AWESOME Devan! She was patient and super detailed! I absolutely loved my set, it definitely boosted my confidence by 1000x! Color: Done by Sarah and let me tell you something. She is such a champ! She was able to get through box dye. BLACK BOX DYE! Let me say it louder for those in the back, BLACK BOX DYE! Shawna is the owner and she’s the sweetest business owner I’ve ever met! They recently launched their subscription box which includes items from the salon and local businesses. I recommend this place to literally everyone I encounter. You need to new shower? Indigo- they carry naked soaps. You need hair and skin care? Indigo- they use Aveda. Ya need some lashes? Indigo- they care about preserving your natural lashes. Need a facial? Indigo- Devan is magic. Need good JuJu? Indigo-DUH!

Kaitlyn was AMAZING! This was my first time to Indigo and they have found a forever customer. As soon as you walk in, it looks so clean and professional and everybody I encountered was nothing but nice and welcoming. I can’t wait for my next appointment with Kaitlyn. My hair looks amazing and my makeup was perfect for my pictures!

I had my very first facial here with Devan. I had an incredible experience and will definitely rebook! I only purchased a "mini" sessionbut still felt totally treated like a queen. The salon was super cute and relaxing as well. The only downside, I was unaware that only street parking was available and it took me some time to find a parking spot. Lovely experience overall.

If I could give half of a star that would probably be more realistic as to how my experience was at the salon. The day that I went it was a very slow day from what I could tell and I needed my nails and toes done with gel. I could tell that the atmosphere of the salon was pretty on point which appeared to be meditative and very earth conscious. I decided to give it a try and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived they were extremely inviting and the atmosphere was very relaxing although I really didn't care for the fluorescent lighting in the room where they wash your hair and paint nails. I felt that it was a very Stark environment and it made it very difficult to relax. I felt that it should have had warmer lighting. I decided to let it go because the service itself was very attentive and I really appreciated that, fast forward now to the nail painting. The girl that I had was very very nice along with the rest of the staff by the end of my appointment though I noticed and she noticed as well that the paint was bubbling and Rippling and she said if it continues to dry that way you can come back later this afternoon and I can try to squeeze you in. By the time I left I told them from what I remember that I did not want to leave a tip just for the fact that the nail job did not seem to be very adequate in terms of what I was paying which was right around $100 for both my nails and my toes just to have gel polish. I told her what the girl had said and around what time and they said okay we will see you then, so I figured it was all good. I showed up at the later time later in the day for her to try and fix it, as it turns out she was super booked for the rest of the day and basically they were trying to convince me just to let her take it off and redo the same polish or something along those lines which why in the world would anyone go along with that when the Polish was clearly almost empty and it wasn't good quality anymore. The more I fussed the more they realized that I wasn't going to just let them sideswipe me especially for the amount that I paid and for the inconvenience of having to come back which to me is ridiculous. I've had better quality nail painting at cheap salons but figured I would just do something special for myself that day. The girl that redid my nail job that I thought I had initially really liked earlier was then defending the girl at the front desk saying that the communication was not very clear apparently on my end which was a total lie because she told me to come back later in the afternoon if I needed to but now was telling me that she didn't expect me necessarily which made no sense. It was a very confusing situation as a customer and I was being made to feel like things were my fault when in reality I was over paying for what was a horribly amateur glorified mani-pedi. I'm usually not one to complain but for that much money and that kind of treatment not to mention the fact that she cut my toenails way too short making it uncomfortable to walk and finishing off the job by saying well we'll just do the redneck version today (offensive), apparently meaning the really quick version since she had to leave on a trip or something that was what I was left with and it was still horrible. I nicely thanked her very thoroughly for at least staying late for me by a few minutes, I then asked her how she was in terms of cutting hair and if she did angled cuts which to me is a very basic thing in today's hair cutting world. She said as long as it's not stacked she was okay at it. I no longer asked any questions at this point and quickly realized that this place was a wannabe dream salon and Spa and that I should have just stuck to Aveda which I have gone to for years. I now found a place to do my nails that does an incredible job for about $25 for gel and it's better than they ever did at that place they are always on point and they are always extremely kind nothing is ever blamed on the customer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. I don't get the hype...

Love love love Indigo Salon and Wellness! The salon is located on the 3rd floor of a restored building in downtown Lexington and is decorated beautifully! The staff are always friendly and provide an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. I have gone to my stylist Corie for years and she always does an amazing job! She knows exactly what I like and takes special care with my particular needs. In addition to my hair care needs, I have started going to Corie for eyelash extensions and I LOVE THEM! A separate room is provided for this service which helps with relaxation and privacy. I also go to Devan for the most amazing facials! She has such a sweet calming presence and immediately makes you feel relaxed for any service she provides. The stylists at Indigo Salon and Wellness are always so sweet and professional and they always do an amazing job!.

Took my sister here for her birthday. I pass this place everyday when I go to work and thought it would be great. She hates her hair and she hates me for taking her to this place. The google reviews are great .. however the reviews other places are awful and very reliable. I would steer clear from this place.
