So I actually get paid to go to salons and request specific services then see how the results compare to what was requested. I'm also told to let the stylist know how "important" my hair is to me etc etc. (I have long, thick hair) Let me just say that my 1st experience here was with Kimberly, I ask for extensions to hide some short bangs, she threw in some glue in strands and charged me $300. I got back to my place of employment and we all laughed in disbelief and I removed them. I waited awhile and scheduled a haircut this time with I think her name was Tina. I just ask for a trim, basically freshen up the haircut I already had. She did great so I requested her again the next time I wanted a cut asking for the same thing. This time it was a disaster, uneven everywhere, I ask for 3 inches of my length and she took probably 6, (They seem to hate when women have NATURALLY thick hair)added layers that I never ask for, just a complete mess, I called and complained and Kim told me to come in and they'd try and fix it, I don't remember the woman's name who fixed my hair that day but she did excellent, she told me one of her previous positions in a salon was fixing bad haircuts, how ironic. The very last time I was there was within the last few months I again scheduled a haircut this time I got Kimberly. I ask for choppy layers around my face and to leave the length alone. Wellll if you're familiar with what a jellyfish cut looks like that's pretty much what I ended up with, she was butchering my hair so bad that one of the other stylists (the one who previously fixed my haircut) ask her what technique she was using as she's taking the shears done my length "removing bulk" that I never ask her to do ( remember they hate NATURALLY thick hair) A lot of them wear extensions. Anyways after this disaster I went out to pay and it was $100. I'm sure they'll know who I am once they're reading this. They have tried to ruin my hair but they CANT, they can ruin cut but never my hair :) I will not be returning to this salon, my job is done. The conclusion at my place of employment is that they are all about money with mediocre delivery of services, they can't stand a naturally thick head of hair and if you mention being attached to your length they'll ship it right off. LOL. Fortunately I get paid for letting them f**k my hair up these others don't. Beware and if you choose to go here then be proactive step by step with your hair otherwise depending on who cuts it you'll leave with something you never ask for and pay an outrageous price for it.

I went in for a quick haircut and ended getting hair color as well. Brittany did my hair and I am absolutely in love with it! She was so sweet, kind and made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely keep coming back!

So I actually wasn't going to leave a review, but after receiving a solicitation call at 7pm this evening about a service that I got a consultation about at the end of July & passed on, I feel the need to leave a review about my disappointing experience. I went in for a consultation to see about a few face framing hair extensions because I have breakage from bleach damage & my daughter's wedding was going to take place in a few weeks. I got to the consultation on time, however Kim I believe her name is, did not. I sat waiting for at least a half an hour until she finally decided to show up. Already I felt this is not off to a good start. I explained to her that I only wanted a few face framing extensions & my budget was about $300. This lady completely ignored what I said & started talking about giving me my dream hair. That included bleaching, toning or color, extensions & a hair cut. She quoted me $600. I felt like she completely disregarded my budget & wants. I didn't care about having my "dream hair." I just wanted my hair to look a little nicer for my daughter's wedding. Kim might be used to women going into her salon & dropping hundreds of dollars, but I'm sorry, not everyone can afford that! In addition, why on earth would a stylist recommend putting bleach & toner on already breaking hair??? The last thing I wanted was MORE bleach on my hair. Unbelievable. So anyway, I ended up leaving and not following up with having any services done at Indulge. I felt unheard & I didn't appreciate being pressured to add services that I never wanted. Then tonight, almost two months later, I get a call from Indulge trying to set up another consultation for hair extensions for me. Their number is now blocked because NO THANK YOU!

I love Kimberly and her entire team. They are so professional and get the job done. I have had extensions done by Kim for the longest I believe around 3 years. I keep going back and the service just gets better and better! I get my wax done and I love their aesthetician she is so sweet. Their salon is super nice and everyone is so friendly. 10/10 recommend

I am new to the area and was in desperate need of a hairstylist. I found Indulge Salon through a Google search of best salons near me. During my consult with Sarah, I showed her pictures of what color and style I wanted. It was going to be a pretty big change from what I already had, but she assured me it would be no problem. Fast forward to my appointment last week. I am not kidding when I say that she replicated the picture I showed her from our consultation! I left with not only a meticulously cut bob but also the most amazing color I've ever had! The whole team was extremely accommodating and helpful because I was on crutches too. The vibe is super friendly and welcoming. I found my forever salon and forever stylist with Sarah. Thank you Indulge for making my first experience amazing! PS my google photo is a few years old, so that's not the style I have now

I got my eyebrows waxed here yesterday (May 16 2023) and they looked okay when I was done. When I woke up today though I have a large bruise or burn unsure, under my left eyebrow where the wax was. I’ve had my eyebrows waxed many times and this has never happened

I scheduled a appointment in advanced and due to an error made by one of their employees I was not able to get the service on my appointment day. Had a confirmation and everything in my email. The manager was very rude and did not try to find a solution.

Long story short - A few months ago, I got my hair colored here. I wanted chestnut brown with copper highlights. At the end, my hair was still my natural grayish brown hair with some lighter brown lowlights. I hated it, nothing had been done the way I asked. They didn't listen, they just kept saying how nice it looked. It looked homely. 200$ and I got nothing. The eyebrow service I got was nice. But for 200 overall, this was not worth it. At all. I went to Ulta and they gave me what I asked for. Whats worst, I wouldn't have posted a review except they keep sending me things in the mail. I tried to unsubscribe, but still, more material. Please stop contacting customers who didn't have a good experience. Your incessant one-sided communication just made me realize how many difficulties I experienced here and tried not to make an issue because I understand that some people just shouldn't be stylists. I tried to move on but apparently this review is necessary. Hey, if someone opts out of your emails, they mean it. My hair wasn't even straightened properly when I left. So many issues. Stop contacting me. Omg.

This is an amazing place. Everyone that works here are amazing at what they do and are super nice too. My hairstylist is Kim and she’s the best I’ve ever had, even my husband agrees that no one has done my hair better than Kim. It takes a while to get an appointment because Kim is that busy but it’s so worth it. Twice a year I get my hair straightened and it last the most time after she’s done it. Your haircut/style will be very much on trend! Kim. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

After a major weight loss my hair started to thin. I went in to see Kimberly and discussing my main concern. We decided that extensions would be perfect for what I was looking for. I have had my extensions since January and I just love them. No one know that this is not all my hair. The maintenance and upkeep is so easy. I wash, comb, dry and style it as it is all my hair. I have been nothing but pleased with the service that I have received from Indulge Salon.

Cute place & nice staff but HORRIBLE at eyelashes… it was my first time there and first time getting my eyelashes done & first off they tried to cancel my appt an hour before it and I had to drive an hour there so it was right before I was getting up and ready to leave… then the lady did it and first, she put way too much glue on , it’s all over my eyelid and eyelashes STILL and got them done a week ago. My real eyelashes are falling out now…. Also , I asked for hybrid and she gave me a very very classic to where it looks like I already need a fill I was told by several friends / family. & i paid 240$ for it in total!!!! Rip off & waste of money. Won’t be going back

I read the reviews. All I read was valid customer complaints and long snarky responses from the owner/management. You can tell that the owner takes zero responsibility for the complaints. My suggestion is to actively listen and apologize. Then respond with a solution. Perhaps a discount for their next visit. Just a thought, because majority of your complaints are about overbooking your schedule... this is a sign of miss-management.. fix it. I thank the people who left a review. I will not waist my time and take my large bridal party elsewhere.

I went to this salon 2x. The first time everything was ok. I didn’t really like the blonde they dyed my hair but it wasn’t awful either. Then I went here again; and OMG. The flipping owner was washing my hair and just left it spinning in the drain. It created a humongous knot and then took a TEAM of girls two Hours to UN-KNOT. It was terrible! Then, I get up to the register and it’s $546. FOR HIGHLIGHTS AND A CUT! She said she had added on a bunch of products and it came down to $378. It’s DOUBLE what I’ve paid in the past. When I said that: she said their prices increased. Prices increasing: ok. But you trying to charge ME for the two hours you spent unknotting much hair! From YOUR mistake. Never going back.

My mom has been going to Kimberly for YEARS so I've always known her to be amazing in everything she does. Literally! This is long but worth reading. Lol. From past experiences in other salons, when I ask someone to do a certain picture (hair color-i do color a lot), it either wasn't exactly the right color/style or it would fade horribly fast (like 2 weeks tops. I know certain colors fade but should last a month or so). I also had someone tell me that going from a dark red to bright red is damaging and risky and will probably need more than one session. Well... I took Kimberly up for the challenge and she said my hair was healthy to do it. It took 3-4hrs and she NAILED IT like it was nothing! The exact color and style just like the picture. She was SO detailed by asking a lot of questions to make sure I got the exact red and style I wanted. She even gave me options with red extensions. I just went back this week to refresh the red and I'm still pleasantly pleased, once again. Kimberly knows her stuff and she can handle any challenge. She also saved my hair for my wedding day 6yrs ago because it was fried by another person. I tried to go to her at first, but she was so booked. After the incident, Kim managed to squeeze me in) Talk about a life saver! I think my mom won't be the only client there now. My dad goes there now as well! Go visit her! You won't be disappointed!

Wow, I have had quite the experience with this salon today. I just moved to York for school. One of the toughest things about moving far is finding a new hair stylist, nail technician, etc. that you can trust/comfortable with. I found this salon on Facebook. Reviews & pictures looked great, so I thought, “Why not try Indulge.” - Big mistake. My appointment was for earlier today at 11:30am. I arrived 5 minutes earlier & suddenly realized I had stupidly forgotten my wallet. I called the front desk and asked if they accept any form of electrons payment rather than a card. They informed me they did not. I asked if it was okay if I were 15 minutes (at most) late for my appointment. I notified the person on the phone that I live 4 minutes away from the salon. She said she understood & that it was no problem at all. After rushing up 4 floors to retrieve my wallet, booking it to the car, & driving back over there (I arrived 12 minutes late to the appointment). As I am sitting in Indulge’s parking lot in my car, I was called by an employee informing me that the individual I spoke to 10 minutes prior was incorrect & I would not be allowed to come to my appointment since it would hold up the rest of her clients throughout the day. I explained that I was literally outside the salon & she still told me I could still not come. This of course frustrated me, but I also understood since it was partly my fault. She then offered to reschedule for later in the evening. 5pm comes around and I make sure I am at the appointment 10 minutes early. The person at the desk told me to sit down to wait for my stylist. I didn’t know any of the stylist so I just picked whoever was available. Meanwhile someone who arrived later than me was taken back right away. Throughout the wait, the person at the front desk just kept informing that it would only be a few more minutes. I waited for close to an hour just to be told that they’re over booked & no one is available to take me. I was not offered to reschedule, nor was I interested in returning. All in all, the clients who I saw with completed looks looked amazing. I just believe their customer service and communication skill are extremely poor.

Sent them an email like they asked on their website about doing services with a specific nail design I sent the picture and my information and they didn’t even respond communication is really big when it comes down to a company and a potential customer I’m sure the nails are lovely but this review is solely for not responding to an email I sent over two weeks ago.
