Daniel is the BEST! He is a true artist who takes his time to craft the perfect look for his client. His priority is your happiness and it shows. I couldn’t be happier with my new cut and color! I’ve only seen Daniel twice, but I already love him and the awesome team who work there.

Kim Kim Kim Kim!!!! She is so talented and so amazing!!!!!! She brought me to platinum blonde and I couldn’t love my hair more. That’s why I keep coming back!! I recently got my hair done with Kim @beautytherapybykim She did an AMAZING job, I came in with botched hair from another stylist in town. Despite all the process my hair went through previously, Kim did an amazing job at achieving the look I really wanted and keeping my hair healthy. Not to mention she does an amazing layered haircut! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair and I couldn’t be happier. Kim is my new go-to for a hairstylist in Albuquerque

I’ve been going to Uptown Salon for 5 years now. I keep my hair short and stylish. Finding a stylist that can cut, texture and style is hard to find. I’ve never had a bad cut with Daniel, he’s is the best!! The Salon itself is very friendly, clean and stylish. They also sell up-to-date hair styling products to include, Redkin, which is my favorite.

I’ve been going to inspire uptown for nearly 8 years and they never miss a beat!! Daniel makes my color and cut dreams come to life every time! The grow out is always flawless and the experience in the salon is always so fun and comfortable! I can’t imagine going anywhere else or to see anyone else!

Alyssa gave me a haircut and blowout this Saturday before a wedding and it was a great job! I got so many compliments. She was very meticulous and did a great job tailoring the haircut and advice to my lifestyle of pretty much not doing anything to my hair ever but still wanting a sort of shag look.

It is pointless to try and request info from them through Instagram or text. It shows that they read the message but a week later and still no reponse through either the messagenger on Instagram or text from the number they posted.... The original stylist I went to based off the recommendation from the girl who answered the phone was not good. I was not happy with my hair. I then found another stylist that seemed to do great work based on their Instagram posts but she never responded to my messages. Unprofessional.

Second time here and getting my hair cut by Chris: absolutely fantastic. Chris takes the time to ask you for your preferred look and examples, and then takes your personal face shape and hair into consideration to give you the best haircut. Easy conversation and fantastic skills, could not ask for better!

Tahlia is amazing. I have thin, fine, annoying hair and she makes it look great... not a task many stylists can achieve! I've been going to her for six years. I moved from ABQ but I'm still willing to drive 2 hours to get a haircut from her.

5 stars for Daniel Hernandez. His cuts are versatile for all ages. He helped me grow a pixie out before I moved away. He cuts my moms hair which is wavy and thin and mine is thick, coarse, wavy. I’d trust him to execute any haircut and it come out looking and feeling nice. Consistent work, which is hard to find.

First time in, and saw Tahlia for a cut. She did an absolutely fantastic job! I can't remember the last time my hair looked so good, just from a cut. While she did talk to me, Tahia wasn't overly chatty and I was able to relax and actually enjoy my cut. 100%, will be back!

Have been going here for years and have always been very satisfied! When my 13 year old son could not find a barber to cut his hair the way he liked, I decided to take him here. Kim gave him his "favorite hair cut of all time" (his words) She listened and did exactly what he asked. Took her time and we appreciate that so much! Thank you Kim, and everyone at Inspire Uptown.

I just need to say, I'm 33 and have never found a haircut where I felt comfortable leaving my hair down. It's thick, and heavy, and makes me overheat, and even with layers that I've received at other salons, I always end up throwing my hair in a bun or pony tail. I came in a few weekends ago and had an appointment with Kimberly, and told her that I needed layers, and wanted it short but that my requirement was that it needed to still be long enough to throw into a high pony tail (my default hairstyle). She did an amazing job, and you know what!? Since then I haven't felt the need AT ALL to put my hair into a pony tail or bun!! I'm finally one of those people who can just leave their hair down all. day. and it feels amazing! I'm so happy with my hair cut, and I was actually low key shocked at how reasonable the price was compared to other salons that I've been bouncing around in town. I'm definitely staying with this location and going to request her for future touchups and trims. Oh! And she did an awesome job at trimming my bangs, which are riddled with cowlicks and are a nightmare to deal with. A++++

I use to get my hair done here until one day I was told I could no longer get see by Aaron, after they canceled my appointments 3x only after I drove from Santa Fe for each appointment. When I called to get my hair formula they completely ignored my calls. They are very unprofessional and I would highly recommend using another hair salon as the owner does not care how her clients are treated. VERY Unprofessional!!!!

I waited 20 minutes for my hair stylist, Kim, to show up to cut my hair before I left. Did the receptionist apologize? Nope. Did she give me updates? Nope. This was my first and only experience at this salon. I won’t be returning.

Kim did such an amazing job correcting a bad haircut I got someplace else! She gave me exactly what I wanted and even gave me a couple tips to style it! She’s so lovely and fun to talk to, she’s awesome! Will definitely recommend her to everyone I know and will absolutely be coming back! 😊

My friend got her hair done by Melinda and she did amazing so I scheduled with her months in advance even requested the day off of work. Now that it's getting closer to my appointment I have texted her a few times and she don't even have the common courtesy to respond. I called the salon and she did not have me down so they said they would get in contact with her and if she couldn't do it they would find a stylist who could and get back to me that was 4 days ago and I have not heard anything. I texted her again and asked her to plz lmk still no response. My friend also had to find a new stylist because of how unreliable she is. Do not waste your money or time on this unprofessional place.
