The nails looked good, wrong color and the man doing them was very aggressive even before starting the full set. This is not the first time he’s acted like this.

Asked for a thin rounded square with a neutral color. I got boxy tacky uneven nails with polish and acrylic overage on the cuticle area. My nails look trashy and worse than when I came in.They have every client on a timer and rush to get you out! This place is slow for a reason!! I will never be back!

Daughter wanted her nails down before a going on a trip. A military mom out of Culpepper Landing usually does them and really well but being last second wife figured how hard can nails be to do, so let’s go here. Well apparently it’s really hard. Nails weren’t cut even. Nail polish is not smooth. Has literal clumps in it. $50 down the drain and my daughter is prying them off and putting press on nails from Walmart on. 🤬

Very hortible experience!!, I am an African American woman, I walked in, no one spoke. Instead she looked at her watch, like I was bothering her. It is 7:00, they close at 7 :30. I asked can I get a pedicure, she said what kind, did not offer a service or attempt to tell me what they did. I looked at her book and then she said " oh we dont have time" WOW I just left. Always be Kind, Always😊Rude!! 0 out 0 stars do not recommend

Absolutely a top notch establishment. Always very clean! The owners and their staff go above and beyond to accommodate everyone ie children w/parents, the elderly and anyone who may have a special need. Their services are always well priced, and they do an amazing job on pedicures, manicures and acrylic nails. It's best to make an appt if you have a favorite nail tech. I've been going here for at least 4 years and have never been disappointed!

Best manicure I’ve ever had!! Kelley was super quick, yet paid attention to every detail for my dip manicure. She’s very kind and fun to chat with as well. I tried another salon close by with better reviews and found out they give a discount for your first time if you leave a 5 star review… it definitely wasn’t worth it. But InStyle is my new spot! I will come back every month 😊

Me and my husband came in and asked for two pedicures and Nick was amazing on my feet he was gentle and kind and he took his time. My husband had a female lady and he was pleased as well. We’re from out of town and we will be back. I highly recommend Nick for the pedicure. Great job!!!!!!

I called in maybe 40 minutes before they were going to close and they worked me in. They were happy to give me a fill in! I was offered a cold bottled water & the technician called me by my name several times! I got a little hand massage when finished and I really enjoyed myself & the service & the quality for a good price as well! I have to get a pedi next !

I just recently moved into the area and tried a couple other salons before coming here. I have been getting pedicures and dip nails for more than 5 years and I was starting to worry that I would never find a salon to meet my expectations, that was until today!! Kelly was so friendly and asked me about what I liked and what services I had before. Both my pedicure and dip nails exceeded my expectations and she did it all while showing me great kindness. I have found a perfect nail salon for me and I look forward to seeing Kelly again!

I went here because my usual nail salon was booked and I was getting my nails done with my mom and sisters for my moms birthday. The place was very clean and nice looking but the man who did my nails was very rude. He made me feel bad about how short my nails are (they are short because my anxiety is really bad and I bite my nails). I have never had an issue with getting my nails done at any other salon so I do not see why it was so difficult at this one. He tried to cut the acrylic nails really short and I asked if they could be longer and he made me feel bad again saying “uhhh” and telling me my nails are too short and the acrylic nails are still way too short for my liking. He never asked me what shape I wanted and I told him before he put the powder on them and he seemed to have an attitude with me about that also. My nails are not the same length and they are STILL not the shape I want. They look very tacky. They also did not ask if we were paying separately and charged my dads card for all of the nails and that was not the plan. (The lady that did my moms nails told her that her fingers were fat and I just think that that is also very rude). I have NEVER left a nail salon this upset and I will never go back there again.

My Mom lives in this area (Grassfield) and recommended this place to me since she was going here for years before the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Due to health reasons my Mom stopped getting her nails done. I've been coming here since beginning 2018 and never had any problems. I live on the opposite side of Chesapeake so this isn't my normal salon but when I'm in the area needing to get my nails, toes and/or eyebrows waxed go to Instyle. The staff is professional, courteous and does a great job. The salon has a relaxing vibe which is cool.

People there are so nice and any design I bring in they let me know if they can do it or not before they waste my time by trying and it not looking great. Place is very clean and organized. This is also the only place I can go to get my eyebrows waxed without them pulling/burning my skin off.

The lady that did my pedicure and my manicure acted like she did not care about what I wanted. Never asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted and shared me $50 for a low end pedicure while I was with others that got wax and oat milk and they paid less. She cut my toe and my nails are uneven and crooked while she also cut my cuticle bed and the paint is uneven and you can see where clear coat wasn’t applied fully. Definitely do not recommend and I will not be returning. Not worth the $100 that I was charged at all.
