Julia is amazing. I’ve been going to her for 5+ years for extensions and my hair always looks fabulous. I have thinning hair and was worried about looking bald, but with her magical powers I look like I have movie star locks. She also works extra hard to protect the integrity of what little natural hair I have left. I highly recommend Intentions Salon.

I have worn a topper for a while but my head was always so sore from the clip ins. I was super excited when Julia said she was going to begin the mesh integration. Julia is an absolute pro at everything she does but by far this is my greatest investment. The freedom it has given me is wonderful and I have had zero discomfort. It feels so natural. I was a little nervous about washing my hair the first time but it was so much easier than having to wash a topper. I am very happy with the install and quality. I 10/10 recommend anyone with thinning hair give Julia the opportunity to make your hair dreams a reality!

I can honestly say that Julia and Brandon have changed the way I look at myself. My hair has always been very thin/fine and I’ve really struggled with it for years. Three years ago, I had enough and ended up buzzing my hair to wear wigs full time. The wigs provided their own challenges with itching, realism, comfort, heat, etc. Not willing to settle, I explored extensions and if it would be an option that would fit me. I spent a month really studying different salons in order to find the best fit for me and I FOUND IT! From the moment that I sat in Julia’s salon, everyone made me feel so comfortable and listened to. Julia explained everything, gave me her thoughts, outlined a plan, cost, maintenance of extensions and listened to any questions. They put my mind at ease and three weeks later, I came back in to have my extensions installed. Brandon and Julia both worked on my extensions and the results brought me to tears. Yes, the extensions were pricey but they are 110% worth every cent. I don’t even think of them as extensions, they are my hair. I will forever be an Intensions client.

Brandon was WONDERFUL!!!! From the online consultation to the time I sat in the chair, and everything in between, I felt so listened to! They are so thorough and make you feel comfortable through the whole process. The color work Brandon can do is true art. He took my tired hair and rejuvenated it, which boosted my confidence immensely. Theyve created the most welcoming space for a few hours of self care!!! I would recommend Brandon for your color in a heartbeat!

I absolutely love this extension salon! The results are beyond amazing. Every time I go out, I can’t help but notice how much better my hair extensions look and how healthy my natural hair feels compared to others. The stylist here are true experts, and the salon has a fantastic atmosphere. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

I am so glad I found Jules and Brandon at Intentions salon. They are the experts and prove it every single time I am at intentions. My sister was visiting NC a few years ago needing some emergency help and relief from her current hair situation. Jules literally saved her hair. She gave her the best advice to get her healthy hair back and she left feeling beautiful after feeling defeated and devastated. Her extensions looked flawless and It’s been priceless watching my sister get her confidence back, she is the poster child for a good hair toss these days. As for me it’s been near impossible finding a colorist in NC after moving here from NY. I always found myself not getting exactly what I wanted or having horrible experiences. Brandon is the only person allowed to color my hair from now on! I leave his chair feeling confident and always so happy with the results. He takes his time and makes sure I know exactly what’s going on and what he’s doing next. I am at the point where I trust him so deeply with my hair I show him a photo and just say, Do whatever you want to do. Its ALWAYS a fun and enjoyable vibe at intentions with the best music and refreshments, they have whatever you need. They are seriously the nicest people you will meet and you will not be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Julia, Brandon and Intentions any higher. I came in after years of trying everything I knew to do to achieve my hair goals. After a recommendation from a friend, I went in for a consultation to Julia and the rest is history. Never in my life has a stranger stopped me to tell me how beautiful my hair is, until I went to intentions and finally tried extensions. I am I lifer now- I will never go without extensions and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to install them and care for my natural hair so masterfully. 10/10!

It may sound dramatic, but Jules at Intentions Salon changed my life. After having kids and diagnosed with alopecia, I became extremely self-conscious about my thinning hair. My self-confidence really took a hit. I first came to Jules in 2019 and I've never stopped! Not only have the extensions improved my self-confidence, but they actually are a time saver! I don't spend as much time washing or styling as I did with my natural hair. What can I say? In those four years, I've also come to love Jules (and B) as people. Where I used to dread going to my hair appointments in the past, at Intentions, I truly look forward to each and every appointment!

I moved to the area and was looking for the right salon/stylist for hair extensions and overall professional hair care, as my hair was slightly damaged and needed "tender love and care" and I can say that is exactly what the team at Intentions has provided over the past 5 months. From the initial consult to just yesterday's two row move up my experience has been fantastic. I was looking for a cutting edge hair salon that specializes in hair extensions and I met my match with Intensions Hair Salon. Jules is a true master at the art of hair extensions. I walked into her salon four years ago and I haven't left. The customer service is outstanding and the staff is superb. Intentions is a premier extension salon in the Cary area. Julia is an expert extension stylist. I had been thinking about extensions for several years but wasn’t sure where to begin. Julia and her team made me feel comfortable and explained the extension options. She was upfront with pricing throrougly explained the maintenance process. I’m so happy I went forward with the mane luxe extensions. My hair is naturally fine and started to thin due to some health issues. I feel so much more confident now. The maintenance isn’t crazy and I haven’t noticed any issues with my natural hair growth. If you’re on the fence about extensions I would just go for it. I’ve had color done by Julia too. She did such an amazing job, natural highlights and blended so well. I’ve worked with Brandon and Sierra as well. Both super nice and professional. Jules is hands down the best stylist! Before moving to the Raleigh area, I looked at the work of all the different salons in the area that were certified in extensions and Intentions Salon had the best, by far! I have been going here for over a year now and am so happy with the services provided. My hair looks amazing each time and has gotten so much healthier. I have been seeing Julia for hair extensions since the beginning of 2020 and she is so great at what she does! She offers IBE extensions which I love and nobody else in the area offers them! I had NBR extensions before but IBE is so much better for me. Julia takes great care of you and will make work with you to achieve the look you want! Most recently she switched me to 1 row of IBE plus a crown extension. Crown extensions are also not common around Raleigh and she is one of the few people who can do them! If you have thinning hair at your crown/part I’d encourage you to look into it! I trust Julia 100% and I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my hair!

My hair has been in Julia's hands for years, and I can't imagine it any other way. She consistently delivers a positive and professional experience, during the appointment and beyond. I have had NBR by her and now have IBE extensions. With either method, my color is spot on, the blend and cut are perfect, and the hair is so comfortable, it feels like my own. She is constantly working to improve her skills, offerings and the client experience - and it shows. Plus, she makes it fun! Be prepared for lots of laughs, and fabulous hair!

So I decided to wait to write a review I wanted to see how these extensions would compare to other ones I’ve had. And I can tell you after 2 months these are still hands down the best extensions I’ve ever had. I have incredibly thin hair and Julia has made me feel more beautiful than I ever thought I would. The money is 10000% worth it. I’ve used EVERY type of hair extension out there but I will never use anything else other than IBE and NBR ever again. Get the hand tied extensions. You won’t regret it.
