Had an perfect experience with Sienna! I was going for a big change for me and chopping off a few inches and going for a new style. Sienna absolutely nailed it. I also thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her during my haircut. I’m glad to have found my new salon in Seattle/Queen Anne!

My husband recently purchased a gift card from Intermezzo based off of the package he saw online. I was very excited because I've been wrapped up in the mom life and haven't made time to do my hair or do anything relaxing. I initially spoke with the owner, Jeremy, who let me know that the spa packages online were not up to date and he kindly helped me schedule other services for a same day service. I chose to get my hair colored and a facial. I've never received a facial before and Tosha was amazing. She was super nice and made sure my first experience did not disappoint. She was so kind. The stars here do NOT reflect her at all. She was great and my experience was very relaxing. I would absolutely recommend her. For a little background - my hair is natural asian hair. I was waiting to get it done and i'm sad to say that I left unhappy with the outcome of my hair. Cesar was my hair stylist. He was newer to the salon and he was pretty nice at first. He made conversation and it seemed fine but there were red flags that made me concerned. I showed him the photo of the hair color I was going for about 4-5 times. He told me that he would be able to get my there since I wasn't trying to go blonde when I initially showed him the photo. During the conversation, I noticed he kept asking me the same questions repeatedly - I just shrugged it off to him trying to make it less awkward quiet?... but then I started getting concerned. he made comments about my hair being thick and the timing with his other appointments, brought out the book with hair levels and asked if I wanted to go blonde.. when I specifically told him blonde wasn't what I was going for.. I showed him the picture again and he said okay. With the first toner, I noticed it was very blonde. I didn't like the contrast with my natural hair. He said he'd have to apply a different toner. I showed him the photo again and this is when he said I'd never shown him that photo and he's never seen it.. He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I was LIVID but I kept my mouth shut and just wanted to leave and end this process. I told him specifically I did not want warm tones, I wanted a mushroom brown with cool tones. I told him very honestly this wasn't what I was going for and although he thought it was pretty and "great for the season" I was not happy. He kept trying to convince me that it was great. I have chunks of blonde on the bottom, that look a bit like zebra stripes and then on top I have brown, orange, and brown hair mixed with my natural color. He didn't fully dry my hair - seemed like he had to get ready for his next client. Im currently scheduling my color correction since it's obvious he didn't put much care towards the bottom half of my hair. Might have been an off day, but this last negative experience left me very disappointed with a much needed gift.

Cesar has created a perfect color for my hair. All my followers have been impressed. For the gala at the Sheraton hotel on October 26th, the Day of the Dead of the organization where I work, it has been a success in keeping with the character represented for that night. Having been in your establishment has been a moment of relaxation for me. The service is of good quality. The place is great. Thank you for being one of the makers of an unforgettable and very special night for me.

I found this gem of a place in my neighborhood!! And have been going to Cesar ever since. He’s so incredibly great at what he does!! Especially when it comes to thick and long hair like mine. He’s the best!!!! And the main reason I keep going back to intermezzo. Cesar is your person!!

Update - this time I went to see Cesar, who’s amazing ! From asking in depth what I want done to doing an absolutely amazing job with my color , I couldn’t be happier and will be returning. Great stylists at intermezzo. Really liked my first experience at intermezzo with Sienna. She first made sure she understood what I wanted, gave me advice on how I can get the best results from my coloring and she was so friendly and fun. Highly recommend the salon and Sienna!

Cesar cut my hair for the first time two weeks ago. I absolutely love it! I am extremely discerning and picky… and have no complaints! Easy to style and have had lots of compliments. Recommend him highly for cut. Will visit him for color next month!

I just went in for a cut with Sienna and I left looking amazing. My hair looks nourished and healthy and it's the first time in my life that it's styled in a way that I like! Sienna did such a good job of listening and giving me what I wanted. She is also a fantastic conversationalist—it didn't feel like small talk but like chatting with a friend. Definitely recommend Sienna for all aspects of the salon experience!

I just saw their newest stylest, Cesar. Cesar did a fantastic job, breathing some life into my lackluster blonde. He managed to enhance my hair's natural tones while introducing a vibrant, lively blonde that has completely revitalized my look. The outcome was a radiant, sun-kissed appearance that I absolutely adore. Cesar also gave me a haircut that not only complements my facial features but is also incredibly easy to manage. As a working mama, finding a hairstyle that is trendy, flattering, and low-maintenance is no easy feat. However, Cesar seems to have understood my needs perfectly and delivered a haircut that checks all these boxes. My new style is fresh and modern, and I've already received numerous compliments on it. Cesar's service was exceptional from start to finish. He was professional, attentive, and took the time to understand my expectations and lifestyle. His skill and passion for his craft were evident in the results he delivered. I left the salon feeling more confident and refreshed than ever before.

Absolutely exquisite! This salon is gorgeous and clean. The treatment room is a sanctuary of luxury and pampering. Cherry has an expertise that shines through every treatment, leaving you feeling utterly indulged and cared for in ways that exceed expectations. Her thoughtful approach and friendly demeanor elevate the experience to sheer perfection. Cherry talked me through not needing the brow shaping I included in my services but simply needing only a few plucks to perfect my brows proving honest care is a top priority. Cherry and Intermezzo are a true QA gem!

I went in for a brow wax with Cherry and she was phenomenal! It was my first time getting a wax in years after a horrible experience, and Cherry was super communicative and caring throughout our appointment. My brows look fantastic thanks to her meticulous attention to detail and genuine care! Also, the facilities at Intermezzo are very calming and clean. Can’t wait to go back for further treatments

Alex at Intermezzo is amazing!!! I’ve seen her twice now to do my hair - full blonde balayage and cut. She always does a great job, and is super nice and fun to talk to! It’s hard to find a place these days for women’s hair that isn’t incredibly expensive, and I feel like Intermezzo does a great job at balancing that and offering a ton of services for whatever you need that are fairly priced. They also do facials, lashes and brows… so I definitely want to try out some of their other services in the future!

My first visit to Intermezzo today and I will definitely be back! Alex calmly listened to what wanted, then asked questions and gave feedback that was so helpful. (Growing out an old haircut from another salon. Ugh.) She has such a fun, calm vibe and she’s awesome at what she does. I told her I want my hair to be cute and up to date but not trendy like I’m trying to be on hairtok. 🙃 She absolutely delivered. And Jeremy (owner) is such a warm, delightful presence, and the salon space is very charming, classy, clean, and bright. (Seriously the lighting and the giant framed mirrors at the stations are fantastic.) Highly recommend!

Alex is the best colorist/stylist--she did exactly what I asked for. I wanted low lights added to my blond hair and a trim and I love it!!! She makes you feel ease in the chair and everyone there is super friendly.
