I had Suzi as my stylist and I am so thankful for her! I walked in not quite sure what I wanted but knew I needed a change away from my blonde. She talked through some ideas and I walked out LOVING my hair and feeling so much more like myself. Great color and cut! Thank you very much!

Rachael is my girl!! This is one of the longest running relationships I have in my life because she’s the best! She listens to my needs when I’m having an identity crises (need a change), and she helps to bring my ideas to life. Love our time together!

Absolutely wonderful! I was referred by my boyfriend's sister. She knew Rene and referred me to her. I went on a whim and wanted to do something different with my hair. My hair stylist absolutely exceeded my expectations. I wanted a trim with my highlights, and she got it done. The vibe at Invoke Salon is a 10. There is only wonderful woman who are there to do what they love most.

First of all, what a beautifully designed hair salon that makes you not only feel comfortable but just in awe at the little details throughout. I’ve been having Rachael cut and dye my hair for over a decade now and she never ceases to amaze me! Whether you want something easy to maintain like a balayage or something funky and colorful, Rachael is your person for the job! Over the years I’ve had to use 2 other stylists besides her and have regretted it both times. I will only go to Invoke from now on because Rachael really brought my vision to life, provided suggestions that were very helpful and made the atmosphere one worth writing home about. Even though sitting in a chair for hours can get boring for some, getting to spend time with her made the time go by really fast and I find myself looking forward to the next appointment.

Renee dry cut my hair and I'm in love with it. She was super thorough and thoughtful in figuring out what I wanted and also making recommendations. My hair is so curly and easy now, I love it so much!

Just had my hair cut by Renee who gave me the best and most thoughtful hair cut and color of my life. She took the time to really access my hair and my style/wants and then talk through things to come up with a plan. I left with a haircut that simultaneously feels effortless….and like the most style that I’ve ever had? It feels very me! She also did balayage and was great at talking me through the best options for my color needs. I’ll definitely be back!

This salon is super welcoming and has a bright, relaxed atmosphere. Though I was unhappy with my first experience, Rachael reached out immediately to help fix the situation. She was able to fit me into her schedule and completely fixed my hair. She really cared about my experience and gave me high quality treatment! I couldn't be happier with the cut, thank you Rachael.

I drive in from Parkdale to get my hair done by Suzi and it’s worth it every time! She’s a life-pep of a person and works magic with my unruly locks! My days start early and I don’t spend a lot of time getting ready in the morning- she’s helped me find a hairstyle that accommodates that and given me great advice to maximize the effort I do put in. It has made a HUGE difference- thank you Suzi!!! 🙏✨

I have been getting my hair cut by Suzi Clark for 7 years and I will never go to anyone else, she is the single best hairdresser I've ever been to. I refer her to everyone I know and they all feel the same way. She does exactly what you want, or if you're unsure she is extremely talented at helping you come up with a look that fits your hair type/face/aesthetic. Her range of hair talents is very broad, ie she does not just cut the same style on everyone. I know many people with unique hair types and she does an exceptional job on all of them. BOOK WITH SUZI, YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID! She's also really nice to talk to :-)

I only post if there’s a terrible job or if they really deserve it. First I love Invoke Salon, it’s refresh and inclusiveness, all hairstylists have been great my decade going. Recently Renee did an awesome job throughout for my annual haircut and color. She took the time to really listen to my vision, uptight about cost, was meticulous, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Plus she’s had bridal experience! Highly recommend and I will be back! Thanks Renee, I love my hair 😊

I've never, ever had a salon experience that I've walked away feeling good from. I strutted out of Invoke Salon like a supermodel. Rachael took the time to listen, answer all my questions, and figure out from a mess of pictures what would realistically work for me. Then she delivered above and beyond a cut and blonding that SLAYS. She even took the time to make me a heating pad for my pain flare I mentioned dealing with! The vibe inside is so chill and welcoming, and everyone was so nice. I will without a doubt be back. Thank you so much!

I’ve never left a review before but this place blew me away. I messed up my own hair trying to DIY and was able to get an emergency appointment with Renee. She was incredibly upfront with me about what was possible to accomplish in our appointment. In addition, she constantly asked me if I was comfortable and if she could provide anything. The ambience and vibe of the place was incredible, and the music was perfect as well. She did a phenomenal job on my hair and I could really tell how much she cared about providing a great experience and service. I don’t currently live in Portland, but I will for sure be returning next time I’m in the area. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Such a charming and elegant salon full of liveliness and fun! The decor is “fancy” without being in-your-face bougie. The main event is Suzi Clark! She’s friendly, educated, and very skilled with hair and styling, even with Asian hair! 6 Stars for Suzi!

Suzi Clark has cut my hair for the past 10 years, and I always walk away feeling rejuvenated and satisfied, with the exact look came in for. In the past, I had always felt unsure about what to ask for when getting a cut, not really understanding the lingo. But with Suzi, I felt immediately comfortable, asking questions and not needing to know. She has always been super helpful in helping me articulate what I envision for myself, and also giving gentle suggestions and input on what kind of cuts might add to my vision. Suzi, you're "SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!"

This is a wonderful lil salon with a really great vibe. I have been getting my hair done by Suzi for years now and I have nothing but great things to say! I get my hair both cut and colored by her, she’s always attentive to what I’m asking for and great with feedback and options. I always walk away really pleased with it all. I have been getting the most sculpted, manicured Men’s cuts from Rachael for over 8 years! When I learned that she will be taking over as owner of this salon as Invoke, I couldn’t be more excited and thrilled for her inspiring journey! Although I’m a creature of habit and get a consistent fade cut, Rachael treats my hair with attention and detail every time I book an appointment, as if it was our first time collaborating. I love learning about all the nuances and updates with the hair world, and I know Rachael is always on the cutting edge of innovative techniques and processes. After witnessing firsthand the amazing new features and remodel this salon has undergone, I couldn’t be more impressed. I just had the most fantastic experience at Invoke with Renee as my hairstylist! I went in for a big change, and Renee absolutely nailed it. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, asking all the right questions to make sure she understood my vision perfectly. Her friendly demeanor made the whole experience even better. Throughout the service, she was attentive and focused on making sure I was happy every step of the way. Now, thanks to Renee, I've got the haircut I've been dreaming of! Renee did a wonderful job with my hair - she did a great consultation and talked through goals, the inspiration photos I brought, and what would work for my hair color/texture. She took the time to cut and style my hair with a great blow out style & was able to get my hair color to the color I wanted. The salon itself is cute & has some great beverage options (nespresso, emergenC, sparkling water, seltzers, beer, tea).

What I truly appreciate about her is her integrity and commitment to caring for her clients. I can go to her with a goal in mind and she'll talk with me about what's realistic, what's healthy for my hair, offer suggestions, and guide me on aftercare. Working with her is so much more than just sitting in her chair for an appointment. It's an honest and respectful partnership, and I'm so grateful to have found a stylist with the ability to cultivate that.

I have been going to Evette to get my hair done since I moved to Portland in 2021. She has perfectly matched my natural color to cover green hair for a wedding, helped me grow out my pixie cut gracefully, and is wonderful to work with. Huge fan of Evette and this salon.

Renee is a wizard! She’s the only person I’ll trust with my hair ever again after a previous salon gave me a bit of a hack job. She knew exactly how to fix my hair without losing any length at all, and was the best to chat with! I’m already looking forward to my next appointment.

Went in to get my hair done by Kahlie. She was super thorough on explaining all the steps for the day. I suck at trying to get good photos, but my hair turned out amazing! 10/10 would recommend!
