5 STAR SERVICE. I am so glad Inya answered her phone when I called about two weeks ago. I have been trying for almost a year trying to find a hair stylist here in Az that takes the time to do real hair, not just braids, extensions and ect. Also, someone that treats their clients with respect and can build a harmonious relationship with their clients. Well, I think I have found that place, Inya Salon. I liked Inya Salon, it is a cute, nice, clean, and relaxing salon. I felt especially comfortable there and not like I did not belong. The owner Inya was professional, and she was friendly. She was not a rude person at all. I honestly liked her. Brian was my stylist, and he too was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about hair. He helped me to feel very relaxed in his chair because he was down to earth, a pleasant and refreshing person. He did a fantastic job on my hair. Never burned me, my hair is soft, bouncy, and silky. He is an excellent stylist; he engaged with you in conversation, and he is truly knowledgeable in hair. He and the owner, Inya both were not pretentious at all compared to some of the hair stylists in Az. They do not have to be because they know their stuff; they know their business and hair business. They were refreshing. Also, their prices where reasonable. Thank you both Inya and Brian

1/10 would NOT recommend. I never write reviews but I will not tolerate the disrespect. I came in to get a silk press and 2 tracks added to my hair by a stylist who was very nice, but the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. The owner said to me “You really think 2 tracks is going to help?” Then she asks my stylist to show her the hair and she starts laughing and says “have u used the hair before?” and she had this weird smirk on her face and started laughing with her client. It honestly felt like I was being picked on and bullied. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a hair salon in my life. I wanted 2 tracks added to my hair to because my hair is shorter in the front and longer in the back. 2 tracks have always helped the front to match the length in the back. No other hairstylists for the past 10 years at other hairs salons have ever said anything like that to me and have always been more than happy to do my hair. I decided not to add the tracks because I felt so uncomfortable in that place and I wanted to get out of there ASAP and would rather have it installed at a salon where I feel comfortable and not judged. I felt like I was being picked on the whole time. Is this how u run a business? Picking on clients that are not even yours? U really think that’s professional? I hope u learn from this and not treat future clients the way you treated me.

I enjoyed my experience here. I will very much be going back. My hair is healthy and shiny. I received a keratin and a trim. The goal is to get my healthy length back. I have no doubt I will achieve my goal with Inya.

Brian was and is amazing!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. He was so friendly, efficient, talented and personable. I already made my next two week appointment 😍🤣 The services I received was a touch-up and a pixie cut. I haven’t been to a stylist in a over a year, so this was a big moment for me. Great location and super safe area as well. If you’re looking for a black owned salon in Phoenix come here!!!

I called this place on last minutes after searching for a week and a half for an appointment for black hair. I severely damaged my hair by overprocessing with chemical perm, at home. I needed a cut and deep conditioning and everywhere was full and appointments taken. After looking over multiple salons , I finally saw an open appointment at 7 for Inya online and I called. An amazing lady (Inya) answered the phone and with friendliness and care, and asked if I could come in earlier. I did make it though I thought I wouldn't at two points. I had the pleasure of meeting Courtney, Inya's sister, and she was just as welcoming in person, as her sister on the phone. She checked my hair and did the wash asked how I wanted, and delivered. My scalp feels amazing! I will be going back here! Not only that but I was charge way less than the quoted price which was a blessing. The honesty made me want to come back and I most certainly will. Thank you Inya and Courtney! ❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓

Brian Mitchell is an amazing hair stylist who goes over and beyond for his clients, he even walked me to my car when it got late to ensure I was safe! I was pretty nervous about getting a sew-in weave but he made the experience pleasant and painless. Everyone in the salon was warm, welcoming and provided solutions and answers to my hair problems. Inya assisted me with my hair journey weeks before my appointment which shows she truly cares about people and their hair journey!

First visit was great, got styled professionally and well by Courtney, second time was an absolute nightmare! Brian was administering my perm from a pre-used relaxer container. My initial thought was that maybe they had used it the same day, until my results came out. During the treatment, he left several parts of my hair untouched upon initial application of the relaxer which I KNEW was going to lead to my hair not coming out properly, so I said something politely. He told me to just wait as he would work it in with the comb and I told him I understood, but had never seen anyone do my hair that way. By the time my hair was finished and washed, my roots were just as curly as before the relaxer! It was the worst result I've ever seen from a relaxer and I've had them since I was 6 years old. It's like he didn't notice the different textures at all until I said something. I mentioned it and he immediately became defensive, huffing and puffing at me as if it was a hassle. No matter WHAT industry you work in, you always take responsibility in ensuring your customer is satisfied. It took another lady to suggest that I come back with Courtney and do the relaxer again, but even then she was somewhat defensive of the poor work instead of saying "wow, I see what you mean, let's fix it!" I obliged to come back as I was happy to with Courtney until what happened next. Brian then went to cutting my hair and cut it at awkward different lengths and when I said something AGAIN more huffing and puffing! I couldn't believe his incompetence and rudeness and it turned me off to the whole company, so I got up, said forget it, walked out, and will never be returning. Word to the wise: If they do a good job, they are supportive and happy, if they mess up, they're not going to give you quality customer service and they will try to find a reason to defend bad work even when the results are obviously painstakingly poor.

Inyas hair salon is amazing.. i had a meeting and had been trying to book with a couple of different salons a couple days prior, but no one had any appointments available.. Inya was able to get me in last minute on one of the establishments closed days!!… I met with Brian and he hooked me up!! I was skeptical at first and nervous because i was new here and wasn’t sure how my hair would turn out.. my hair was dry and brittle on the ends and was similar looking to the texture of a bristle pad even though the top looked shiny.. Brian made me feel very comfortable.. I got a keratin treatment and absolutely love the results.. This will be my go to salon and I recommend this place 100%.. Worth every penny!! I will be bringing my sisters and grandmother here soon for their beauty sessions as well!!

I’m so upset. This was the worst experience I had. I was walk in and asked Brandon if he can cut my wig he said yes. It was 10:30am and I told him I live far. I asked him if he can finish it until 5pm. He said yes. I got there 5pm and he just started and I didn’t mind to wait but he has the next person coming and he starts cutting my wig with clippers and rushing. He destroyed it. A $200 wig got destroyed. He didn’t even styled it or asked me if I liked it. He just got me out of chair and charged me $60 and asked me if I want to tip. Really tip? I was shocked. I tried to call after I left because I want to tell him how I feel but they don’t answer the phone. This is really really bad business. Even I’m walking in he could said no if he didn’t have time but the service was really bad.

While texting with her she was very unprofessional. Was not willing to have a discussion. Told me to wear a wig.. she was done
