Had an amazing experience with Tania! In just a few hours she changed my hair from this awful red color I did at home to the exact shade of blonde that I was hoping for. She also trimmed my hair exactly the amount I asked for- I'm growing my hair out, so I really appreciated that she was careful not to cut off too much. My hair was terrible and then she made it look even better than I thought it could. Very grateful I booked with her!

Conveniently located. Easy to schedule. This was the most expensive cut I’ve had at $115 for shampoo and cut. Very friendly service. My stylist was very good.

First of all, I am glad that Isla salon even exists. I called with a lot of reticence. I showed up and was amazed. If, we, Black girls/women are looking through the windows, we would not be able to give our natural hair a chance. GEt IN AND INQUIRE. Heather did a phenomenal job with my hair. No need to tell you how worry I was. I met Heather and thought I was taking a chance. What's the percentage of a White female do yo my hair? Did I say that? Absolutely, I did. I had a haircut ( my hair was falling out). She saved most of my hair, shampooed and styled it. I was calling the whole world while she was doing my hair and I guess my friends and families were happier than I was. Thank you Heather for taking care of my unhealthy hair. Diversity rules. Heather is absolutely amazing! I’ve been going to her for over 7 years, and I recently started having her cut my family’s a hair as well. She did my two year old daughter’s first hair cut! She was kind, understanding, and made my daughter feel right at home. We will be going to her for the next 7+ years too ;) we love you Heather!

I was charged over $600 last year for a balayage that literally destroyed my hair and caused it to fall out in clumps with even the slightest touch from a comb. The salon advertises as high end but they do not care about making sure your hair is healthy and just want to get it as blonde as possible. I literally have not been able to have anyone touch my hair in over a year because of how overbleached and damaged it was and had to cut off 7+ inches from the damage, which my stylist said she had never seen. I have been having my hair died blonde for over a decade and have never had an experience as an awful as this. Also don’t know that my hair will ever be as thick as it was :( such a rip off and literally destroyed my hair potentially permanently

I went and got blonde added from Austin. Wow I was so impressed with his work. My hair looks amazing and I could really tell he knows his shit and he did his thinggg. I also loved the ambiance of the salon, it’s so pretty. Thank you, Austin!!!

I am very disappointed in the customer service at Isla Salon. I was a new client and realized a day after my appointment I did not get the discount on my service that was currently running for new clients. I called and spoke with the receptionist. After her conversations with the owner, they are unable to refund me for the discounted amount that should have been taken off automatically when I checked out. There have been additional efforts a customer should not have to take when this discount should have been taken off at checkout. I would not recommend this salon due to the poor customer service. I still have not received my refund for the discounted amount.

Run as fast as you can from this salon if hair extensions are what you are seeking! This may be a beautiful salon inside, but it is not a reflection of the quality of their hair . I have been getting hair extensions for four years and the hair that Isal sells and offers is complete garbage! Two sets of hair were completely ruined after just two washes. They first tried to say that maybe the toner was left on too long. Then they tried to say that maybe it was dried incorrectly (should be able to rough dry hair before using round brush) and they said this blew the cuticle after 2 weeks! All I know is if you are looking for good hair this is not the place. I spent so much money replacing hair here. It is absolutely sad. They also do not stand by their product, so if their hair becomes ruined for no apparent reason after just a few weeks, they will not replace it. The website indicates that their hair is not Remy human hair. I have since moved on to a salon that offers Bello Haven remy human hair extensions and I am happy to report that they are completely different and the best quality! I could say more about this salon, but I am choosing to keep the focus on the horrible hair quality. The image is after 2 washes, all I did was sit in the car to come home from dinner. It also looked like this when I arrived at dinner and had to keep brushing the tangles and matting out throughout my dinner, it was embarrassing. It just clumped into balls constantly, simply by breathing. My new hair and other hair I have had in the past has NEVER done this, and I rough dry before smoothing. I also want to add that I used all the recommended products and oiled my hair as instructed. I don’t have the money to just not take care of my hair I buy, so I’m very good at doing what’s right to keep it healthy. I also want to add that the first stylist I had indicated other clients were complaining too and they were also dismissed. The new place I go also mentioned that they get a lot of Isla’s dissatisfied clients. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover at Isla, what you see and what you get don’t align.

This is the first (and only) salon I’ve been to since moving to Denver! Sydni absolutely knocks it out of the park every time. I have literally gotten random compliments on my hair color in public. As for the price, you get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny!

Emma is the best there is! Don’t be fooled she doesn’t only do Blondes! She was able to take my hair from almost red to a neutral brown in time for my wedding and I couldn’t be happier. I won’t go anywhere else in Denver. Would highly recommend.

Hair was not done properly with Lasio. Spent a shit ton of money on a poor result and they are the first salon not to offer an adjustment for free. Do not go here.

My absolute favorite studio in Denver! Emma Paulin has changed my life with the work she does on my hair. The best hair cut and color I’ve ever had. Highly recommend (especially for my brunette gals)!

Sydni did an amazing job! She is so easy to talk to and it makes the time fly by. I don’t get my hair done often so I feel like I struggle to find how to say exactly what I want but she sees the vision and always executes it perfectly. Would highly recommend her!

I’m pretty picky with my hair and usually don’t like it when I get it done, but I finally found a gem. Emma at Isla gave me the best lived in blonde I’ve ever gotten. She was awesome- easy to talk to, knows what she’s doing, efficient, and not pushy with selling products. The salon is clean and big. Would definitely recommend and will be returning as a repeat client!

You guys…… this is the place! From the vibe to the actual stylist, this is hands down your place for service. I have had so many stylist from other salons try and get me to the bright blonde I’ve always dreamed of and always fell short with brassy yellow tones. I went in for the first time today and my stylist ( Skylar) was incredible!!!!! I went in not knowing if I wanted a balayage or lived in blonde, had extensions to show her, wasn’t sure about anything and this girl took it and ran! Please go see Skylar as she slayyyyed my hair. I was shooketh ❤️ pictures are before and after! Skylar….. you have a new loyal customer!

Austin is the best! Seeing a new stylist can be scary, but he did such an amazing job. Austin took a lot of time in the beginning to understand my vision and I appreciated that so much. He’s so friendly and talkative. He nailed the cut and color. Can’t wait for our next appointment!!

I have been going to Joria for the past year and have enjoyed my experience at this salon so much! It has a bright and fun energy to it and Joria nails it everytime. Got my hair cut done here by Taylor Anderson and she was amazing!!! She is super friendly and took her time listening to what I wanted and looking through all my inspiration pictures. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Stephanie for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier! She is so good at what she does and really helps you figure out what looks best for your face shape, etc. she is also the sweetest human so always makes such a fun experience getting my hair done by her! 🫶🏼

Love Isla salon and Erin B. was (as always) a fantastic stylist. My hair is naturally SUPER dark, and I've always struggled to find someone who can make me blonde and shiny without breaking my hair or making it orange and brassy. I get SO many compliments. 10/10 recommend the stylist and the salon. It's beautiful, relaxing, good vibes, and worth the price as my highlights/balayage are low maintenance. :)
