I have been trying to find a good lash artist for YEARS until i found @lashartistybykay! First time going to her I felt very comfortable and relaxed and she provided such a good environment! I just went to her to get a fill after 2 weeks and barely any lashes came out! Y’all better go ahead and get your lashes done by my girl!

Best experiences ever!!! I've been coming to Ivy Glam for over a year and every person there has always been joyous and helpful. My nails always look amazing and last with no chips or peeling. I've seen some complaints about tech showing up late which is not true. Every techs hours are different. Some come in early and others are staggered throughout the day. Some of them do have kids but they never interfere with the work that is being done. Anybody complaining about a mom having to bring her kids has no compassion for mothers trying to take care of their kids and keep food on the table. I love my nail tech Nena and the entire staff of Ivy Glam!!!

Probably the worst fill and deep French I’ve ever gotten. The finish is super bubbly, the white is uneven on every nail, and they just altogether look SO sloppy. At no point did she show me the nails during the process or ask if they were okay, I didn’t even see all the issues till I was checking out at the counter.

Very pretty salon, but shitty services. The lady that does laser hair removals a joke. Customer care delivered by bored teenagers. Pedicure left the bottom of my feet rough and scratchy. VB Beach location is a lot better and don't get me started on the vendors that harass you to buy homemade, greasy expensive skin care that isn't mixed properly 😩

Hong Mai is wonderful! She's attentive, very nice and does such a great job. My nails and pedicures always are excellent and exactly what I want!! I'm so happy I found this place!

This has been the BEST experience I’ve had to get my nails done for the first time in forever. My friend and I came in from the other side of the state on New Year’s Eve as walk-ins and they able to take us in among the demand and appointments. Communicating what I wanted was very easy and nobody trying to push for me to add on color or anything. I got to be in a space filled with employees who looked like me in a very aesthetic atmosphere. They offered me water while I waited and I felt better leaving after an amazing job. If I could travel here every couple weeks for a fresh set, I would!

10/10 My girl Phelia KILLS it. Literally never disappoints. I give her creative freedom to do whatever she wants and I leave obsessed EVERY time. I like my nails on the short side and she is the only tech that will still give me WHATEVER design on my short nails. So you know she be killing them long nails too! Here my last two short sets 🥰

If I could give zero stars I would. Nail tech did great but first of all I got short Frenchies and paid a 30$ deposit. My appointment ended up being 20 minutes later then booking but so many fees for if YOU are late. Then rude front desk worker charges me “incorrectly” and without my permission charges my locked debit card 5 times and proceeds to blow up my phone asking for money for their mistake which I had already paid 58$ plus my 30$ included deposit. So how would a short French tip set need another 20$ charge. Debating on reporting the company for charging my card without permission.

Art looked nice but the hospitality sucked!! Didn’t even get greeted until about 15 mins of waiting. Got seated and ended up leaving because I waited 45 mins and no one EVER serviced me!! I don’t think I’ll ever go back and all I wanted were some shorties.

I want to say Shyla is excellent! This was my first time at Ivy, and it was superb. The young lady at the front was lovely, and we had a great small conversation. I know it's hard to find a well-rounded salon, but everything was excellent! But to further shed light on Shyla, she's incredible! The conversations were authentic and wholesome; she did fantastic work on my nails. Her energy is refreshing, and I recommend Shyla to everyone! I will be back soon! Also this was my first time getting almond!

If you want your toes and feet done right please ask for Katherine hands down. She is very attentive and very on point on fixing your toenails especially if they are thin and bridle. She has worked magic on my feet and I'm beyond appreciative of her!

LOVED this place! Everyone was very kind. This was my first time going here, and Heidi was wonderful. Took me last minute, and still did an amazing job on these nails. You could also tell that the work culture and the care for the employees was strong which is something you don't always see. Highly recommend, I will be going back!

I don't usually get my nails done but I'm not happy with the job overall. I was a first time walk in and they were able to see me quickly..I had a photo reference of the nails I wanted, short pink hombre almond nails. As soon as I sit down the tech is filing my nail plate with her dremel. I didn't want a full set, I want short nails, can't I just get a gel overlay manicure? She said for the type of nail I referenced it should be a full set...alright, fine. She put in the extensions then started to cut and shape the nail, I wanted it about half the length she initially offered. It's only 1-2 cm longer than my natural nail. She should have just filed my nail. She also didn't prepare my cuticles at all. After the extensions she started to try and make hombre with dip powder but couldn't color match to my reference. I was starting to feel bad, she was struggling and said they needed to restock colors. I wanted a dusky rosy pink hombre, but the closest match was a warm brown. When I look at my nails I can see the dab of darker dip powder near the tips, it looks clumpy not a smooth gradient. She started to UV cure my nails and her lamp kept malfunctioning (very luxe and potentially hazardous) by not turning on, causing her to work more quickly through cure cycles. She then tried color matching further with gel nail polish. If gel polish was going to give the best match, idk why she tried dip powder, idk why I was given extensions that barely go past my natural nail, idk why she rushed so much she skipped prepping my cuticles, other than she was trying to maximize the cost of the nails and speed everything along. A few days later I had to clean up the gel coat around the edges with a file because it was thick and clumpy and starting to lift away from my cuticles. This was extremely negligent and harmful and put me at risk of developing a life altering acrylics allergy - which would prevent me from getting certain dental work, prosthetics, and using other acrylic products in the future. My nails look spoon/spatula shaped from all the product concentrated on the end of the nail. It looks like it's grown out a bunch because she didn't bother pushing my cuticles back. Is it normal for clients to prep their own cuticles before getting a manicure? I probably would have had better results if I had, but I didn't know my nail tech wasn't going to do it for me. It was a $70 set plus 18% tip minimum. I feel bad for the techs, but after a week I'm not happy with the nails. I'm already not happy they had supply shortages at this salon and weren't able to color match. Also, I did not feel relaxed enough in this atmosphere to even touch the complimentary beverage, and all I had was a small bottle of water. The ads for this place are pretty nice and it seems upscale and draws in clients but maybe the techs and management rely on that too much to bring in one time clients whose services they mark up as much as possible, not to say anything of how there's clearly a disconnect somewhere in the service pipeline, so techs are feeling rushed and inventory is low. Highly do not recommend this salon. I would have been better off doing my nails myself and I am not a professional or even love doing my nails at all.

I made an appointment with Maya to get dip nails for the first time. She was really patient and kind, answering all my questions and taking extra time to clean my hands after I chose a royal blue color. Great service and nice atmosphere-definitely recommend!

Since August, I have been a regular patron of the Hampton location. The establishment is undeniably aesthetically pleasing. However, my initial experience was marred by several issues. Despite being verbally quoted a price comparable to a microblade retouch, I was subsequently charged a substantially higher amount. On every occasion I have received a pedicure, the water temperature has been consistently frigid, making it challenging to achieve a satisfactory jelly pedicure. Despite these shortcomings, I have remained loyal to the establishment primarily due to the exceptional service provided by my nail technician, Chele. Chele consistently goes above and beyond by heating water in the microwave to ensure a comfortable pedicure experience. Additionally, Kim Young’s Brazilian wax services are highly commendable. If the water temperature issues could be addressed, along with the establishment implementing transparent pricing practices, I believe my review would reflect a more positive assessment of the establishment.

went on a Tuesday evening, I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. That turned into more than 45 minutes. The receptionist was unprofessional. Yelling to communicate the staff. I broke my pinky toe nail recently and asked her to not do anything to it bc it was still sensitive, the tech proceeded to still do the nail after I asked multiple times for her to not. $10 for gel, $5 for French, $5 for French with color (got opi bubble bath as the base) never heard of that charge. If you’re looking for a luxury experience this is not the place. Don’t be fooled by the shop aesthetic!

I cannot recommend this place enough! For my bachelorette party, I wanted my girls to have fresh sets for the big day so we booked ahead of time and showed up not knowing what to expect because we have never been here before. We just know we wanted to have a good time and mimosas! I am beyond grateful for how we were treated and all of our requests were met with absolute pleasure. I personally had Maya who was an absolute thrill to work with and she met my every need. These wonderful women fixed us up right and we had an absolute blast!

I was recommended this place from a friend. But had a terrible experience with Hong Mai as my nail tech. From the second I walked in and she asked "what are you here for" to the end. It felt like my appointment was an inconvenience to her. She didn't know she had an appointment (the wonderful front desk person did). For the feet she was so rough with cuticle pusher, it hurt. During the massage, I got the pamper me package, she was on her phone instead of doing the massage. The two colors I picked out they didn't have? So I just have a very different shade on my toes. For my hands I asked for coffin shape and had to pull up Pinterest pictures of it (yet right next to us were the drawer of fake nails with coffin as a labelled drawer) the cuticle cutters were used on skin, not my cuticles so much so she actually ended up digging in and cutting 1 of my fingers. The actual paint looks fine, but maybe not enough layers or cure time because they feel very weak and bendy...and no they aren't too long, I asked to keep the length and they all got filed down pretty short compared to what I walked in with. Idk. The place seemed clean and nice, the other people seemed to be in better moods maybe it was an off day? but if I ever give them a try again I'm specifically requesting NOT her.

They messed up my nails, redid them, and charged me for both sets and the removal of the first set. So if I’m going to be honest, I had a really bad experience 😩 the first girl who did my nails was really kind but did a horrible job, they were bumpy, uneven, messy and thin. I usually can bite the bullet bc they are human and I don’t expect anything to be perfect at all. So while getting my pedicure they offered to redo them and the girl was very kind and also agreed that the nails were really bad, she had a client booked which was totally understandable so sadly she couldn’t fix them. I had pre planned things to do after so I couldn’t wait another hour to get them fixed so I was just ready to go. Mind you she filed off all the color that the girl previously did. So as I’m checking out with uneven filed nails with no color they say they are still going to charge me for the set. I’m obviously not so happy with that so they call the manager. Long story short they redo my nails which ended up great but still charges ME for the nails they didn’t do correctly. Idk man, just wasn’t professional or a place I’d recommend or go back to

This is a really nice nail salon. But the quality of the nails is not it!! I got my nails done and 3 days later a nail pops off like a press on. I called and tried to get her to fix them and she refused she offered 50% off next visit.. I paid $150 for my nails to last 3 days? No ! Won’t be returning and she tried to argue with me and say I was there 2 weeks ago… ABSOLUTELY NOT! Nails don’t pop off like this unless they not done right

Went in today to try gel nails for the first time and i’m so glad i didn’t go anywhere else! i made a very last minute decision to make an appointment the night before online but had no issues with booking and confirming my appointment. when arriving everyone was very friendly and made sure i was acknowledged. I believe it was Lily who did my nails today, she did an amazing job, very attentive to detail and overall so friendly and personable! i was having a lot of difficulty making a decision on a nail color but she was so helpful in giving me recommendations. the other nail techs and staff members were just as friendly, if i’m ever in the area again i will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone else!
