I always go to Sam Burwick and I LOVE the atmosphere and her as a stylist. Always a pleasant experience, low key, and the salon is beautiful.

Kelley did a great job of giving me the haircut from the picture I showed them. The environment was very nice and friendly. I was displeased though because Kelley didn’t really check in to see if I wanted to change anything. There were things I wanted to fix, but didn’t feel like I got the chance to express them. They didn’t even show me the back of my haircut the whole time to see if I liked it. Sadly won’t return because of that experience.

UPDATE: just wanted to add, the first blond I had asked Amber for a warmer tone but I know no-yellow is important for a lot of people so I wanted to add my newest neutral / cool shade, too. Amber absolutely crushes my hair every time! Blonde or vivid, they can do it all- both photos are Amber’s work :) She is so sweet and welcoming, felt like a friend almost immediately after the first time we met.

I love the salon, have been here three times. Once for myself and twice for my kids. It’s a cozy atmosphere and the stylists are friendly and listen to your designs and offer helpful tips to maintain the style.

Bella absolutely knocked it out of the park—she was so intentional and knowledgeable and really brought all of the potential out of my hair. She was so attentive and kind, and I left feeling so absolutely beautiful. I 100% recommend Bella and Ivy Northside. This is a fantastic salon! I drive out of my way to get my haircut here monthly and the staff and service is second to none. I’d be willing to drive to their Hamilton location if ever needed, that’s how much I like the work this salon produces.

Went in needing a color change and overall new style and haircut. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, and really cool that they showcase local artists work. Amber did an amazing job giving me a whole new edgy look that I was wanting, and she offered excellent conversation as well! Highly recommend coming to Ivy’s Salon for that new hairstyle you’ve always wanted to try!

I see AJ at this location and she always does an amazing job! I've gotten my best haircuts EVER here. Everyone is super friendly and the salon is very pretty too. Easy paid parking in the lot by the bus station as well!

Morgan is amazing! She’s intuitive, consultative, and an excellent listener. I went in yesterday with a reference image for my hair and she got it EXACTLY how I wanted it, from color to cut. I was put at ease by the way she informed me on each step of the process. She also gives the BEST scalp massage. I walked out so pleased. I would recommend Morgan to anyone looking for a razor cut that suits your face shape. She is gifted!

jayden KILLED it even though she has never cut this type of style! besides being so in love with my hair, she was the gentlest, most meticulous stylist and i will go back to her because she made me feel so comfortable. cutest human being and so kind. she really wanted to make it perfect and it shows.

10 months later and I am still trying to fix the damage they have done to my hair. They cut my hair with a razor blade and it destroyed it. Great place if you want endless split ends and to have to keep trying to fix it almost a year later.

Amber is amazing! I only started seeing her this year but she has nailed everything I’ve asked of her. She has great attention to color placement and tone, especially with vivid colors. She is also very sweet and kind and helpful with recommendations every time.

I followed Amber to Ivy Salon as I love how she does my highlights. She pays attention to detail and gives a natural look. Also love her loose waves. She’s a pleasure to talk with and hang while she does her magic. The salon has a cool vibe, lots of sunlight and great people, in the Northside area. Kelley just got back from maternity leave and THANK GAWD! They fixed someone else's fumble with my hair cut and color so well that I actually loved my hair leaving the salon more than I ever have before (I usually need a second to adjust and get used to the new look). Kelley's the best :)

When I started with Amber I was a platinum blonde with TRUST issues. I was so afraid to switch stylists but so so glad I took the leap and came to Amber. She is the best, and she knows how to give you any hair you want! She is so talented and such a sweet person. I look forward to every single appointment with her and love talking to her. Kait at Ivy Northside is great! I’ve been getting a balayage from her for a couple years and she never disappoints. I always walk away loving my hair. Parking for the salon is also very convenient—the business district parking lot is just around the corner.
