JaNell is so awesome! Did a Brazilian blowout and color with her in two separate sessions and each one did not disappoint. I never liked how my hair looked before, but she helped me love it again. Highly recommend making an appointment with her!

I recently connected with Taylor Bratches over a zoom call, and decided I would absolutely visit her next time I was in Colorado...I live in Cleveland, OH and let me tell you I will be flying out there again to see her and or hopefully learn some of her practice myself to integrate into my daily life. I have CPTSD and very physical anxiety symptoms, panic issues that come and go and can fall into freeze states. I saw her to help clear/ re align some energy within my body that felt very overwhelming and clogged. Allowing my body to receive her gifts, I felt very prominent energy shifts, and releases in my body. Mind you, this is not necessarily an "easy" way to heal, you must be willing to confront your body/allow it to move, release however it feels, BEFORE the calm. My legs/ knees, were shaking uncontrollably while I was crying, releasing what was necessary, I felt immense amounts of heat over my chest and back not to mention an intense racing heartbeat, knowing whatever she was doing was absolutely working on my body. Taylor was patient and reassured me what was happening with my legs was normal and helped me to allow the movement without feeling rushed. She was able to identify where I have had some serious pain in my body ( left hip) (upper right neck) without telling her! A true healer, she is there to hold space for whatever may come up for you. If you hold back, you may not be able to benefit from the possibility of transformation and healing, so may you go in with a totally open mind, and trust in your heart. I can't recommend Taylor enough if you are serious about healing and are looking for a somatic release, she is kind and amazingly gifted, I am so glad to have found her.

I spent so much time looking for the right salon when I moved to Denver, and I am so grateful I found Ivy + Oak! Katie Spaulding is not only an incredibly talented hair stylist, but also makes visiting the salon such a fun experience. My hair color and cut is always perfect, and she nails the blonde color I want. In addition they offer a full salon with facials, waxing etc… which is super convenient. Highly recommend this salon to anyone!

I have been coming to this salon and Jay Carlson for years. Everyone at Ivy+Oak are sweet and helpful. I've gotten to know many of them and am excited to try out other services they offer! The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. They have almost everything you need for healthy hair and skin.

I just got the most amazing facial from Javon. Best facial ive ever had! The whole experience was so relaxing, the bed was so comfy, great massage, and my skin is glowing. Javon is so sweet and is so knowledgable. I cant wait to come back!

Javon is the BEST at facials and skin care. LGBTQ+ family, Javon is who you need to see. They made me feel really comfortable from start to finish. As someone who hasn't taken care of my skin, they never made me feel bad about what little I do for my skin. My skin is GLOWING and I am so excited to feel and look great for my wedding in a week!

Vicky saved my hair! I had pink hair that faded and grew out. I didn’t know where else to go since I recently moved out here and I would fly back to Indiana just to get my hair done. I was so scared to try a new place but I’m glad I came here. The colors were perfect and the prices are reasonable. I found my new hair salon here in town.

I was admittedly nervous trying a new hair stylist, as a friend of mine has been the only one to style my hair in over a decade. I also have curly/wavy hair, and not every stylist knows how to cut that type of hair. Then Scott came into my life and changed everything. He is magic. Not only did he WOW me with an incredible cut, he told me how to style my hair to make my curls last longer. I realized that I have been doing my hair incorrectly for about 40 years. My hair is bouncy and healthy and I'm not drawn to put it into a bun every day of my life. I can actually go four days and my curls are still holding, thanks to the cut AND the use of a bonnet! Everyone else at the salon is magic too. They are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Javon is amazing and got me hooked on Dermalogica (thanks!) after a perfect facial. Josh's Thai Massages are soothing and seriously stress reducing. This is a one-stop shop for beauty, health, and happiness.

So I've been on the hunt for a new hairstylist since my stylist moved out of state 4 years ago. And I got to say, I found my girl. Sierra. She is delightfully bubbly, talented and conversation never stops. She gave me the best haircut and highlight that I have had in YEARS. The price is reasonable for getting your hair done in Denver. The location is easy to get to, super clean and cute. I chatted with Javon a little; she has great style and made me feel super welcome. Genuinely liked the aesthetic and they just expanded with a spa that I want to check out. But go to Sierra. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.

I randomly saw this salon from the bus. It was my birthday recently and I wanted to do some wellness and self-care. Thanks to London, who was courteous and patient as I was having terrible phone services-I booked three services on the same day and in the best order. First, a facial with eyebrow waxing with esthetician, Javon. This was my first facial, ever, just got the simplest one. It was wonderful and Javon was wonderful. Javon was warm, professional and provided a calming, "come as you are" energy. My face looks lovely and feels moisturized. My eyebrows turned out great as well and, almost painless:) After I booked a 60 minute integrated table massage from Maylani with cupping. I have not had a professional massage in like 12 years and, had never tried cupping. Maylani's touch, demeanor and the grounding techniques she used to start the massage, just awesome! She made me feel so at ease and I felt like heaven the rest of the day. I think the cupping is effective, I think it is body magic that is subtle. Overall, I recommend Javon and Maylani for their amazing consultations, methods and communication skills. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience!

So far I have experienced from the spa: Javon- I love how my skin feels so clean and stays hydrated looking for months after! Their personality alone will get you hooked, but their attention, care for your skin and expertise is even more reason to go to them. I had rejuvenating facial and microdem. Josh- I have gone to Josh for Medical Qigong and Thai Massage. Where do I begin!!?? Quick version, my lymph nodes were swollen for over 2 weeks and multiple drs brushed off my concerns and they said that it was most likely a virus ,even when a viral panel came back negative. Josh took the time to listen to me and after a session with him he said it could be toxicity build up and gave me some vitamins and activated charcoal. The very next day my lymph nodes were back down to normal. When I had my Thai massage with him, the experience was so relaxing and I am addicted. He addressed my pain problems, also his intuitiveness found where the real problem was coming from and it felt like a healing experience. The experience is also so relaxing. I recommend trying this asap!!! I can’t wait to try out Maylani for Thai massage. If traditional massage is more your speed, Decal is AMAZING! He will get all those knots but in a way that doesn’t hurt and is still relaxing. I love the spa!

Today I had my first rejuvenating facial with Javon. What a great experience! Javon takes the time to listen to what your goals are, and explains each session step--insuring comfort,relaxation, and effect. She is so knowledgeable about the process and procedures. It was a great experience, my skin was glowing and I'll definitely return. Good for the skin and soul!

Vicky is great! In addition to vibrant color exactly how I wanted, she helped me fix chronic problems with my hair that I thought were unsolvable. The whole staff is friendly and helpful, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Javon did a facial for me today and it a was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I cannot recommend them highly enough! My skin looks and feels amazing. She is so knowledgeable and taught me so much about my skin, and how to utilize different products to enhance (& heal) my skin & my acne. I will never be a 12 step skincare routine person & they respected that while still giving me tips on a few changes I can make and products I can add without it being too overwhelming. Also as a non binary femme person it’s so important to receive care in a safe and affirming space and I am so grateful to Javon for creating that space. Looking forward to my next facial!

Never have I had such a great experience with a salon/Stylist than I have at Ivy and Oak - LeAnn in particular. I was looking for someone who handled curly/wavy hair and LeAnn was recommended. She exceeded my expectations and helped me figure out how to tackle my newfound curly hair. I'm so glad to have come across this great salon and cannot wait to go back!

I moved to Denver recently from NYC and finding a new stylist can be stressful. I saw this salon received great reviews so I gave it a go. Both the salon and Jay far exceeded my expectations! He really took the time to get to know me and put me at ease. He gave me such a great cut and I received a lot of compliments. The rest of the staff were super friendly as well. I'll definitely be going back when it's time for a trim!

Leann is INCREDIBLE. She takes TIME to actually listen to, discuss, and plan what you’re wanting and then she *actually* does it! I’ve never been more happy with haircuts and color results. (And I’ve gone a lot of places in my time lol.) If you’re looking for someone who will go the extra mile and will take meticulous time with your hair and style-LEANN IS YOUR GIRL. She is so fun to talk to and I adore my time chatting with her while getting pampered. The salon is adorable and comfortable.

I followed Sierra to Ivy+Oak from VIBE salon downtown. I am so glad that Sierra is at Ivy+Oak. Great staff and environment! Sierra has done an amazing job on my hair, I get blonde highlights from her and have had very different cuts, each time with perfect results. In fact- I drive 3 hrs from the mountains just to get my hair done with her. Thank you Sierra and Ivy + Oak!

I got my hair cut with Sierra last week and had a great experience at Ivy+Oak! I will definitely go back and would recommend it for anyone looking for a new salon. They made me tea while I waited and the salon itself is super calm and inviting. Sierra was a great stylist, very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job with my cut. She is very attentive and passionate about making you feel great! The service and the staff here definitely make the trip worthwhile.

I never had a chance to visit this salon, due to a COVID exposure. I cancelled well within their time frame and for a good reason, I didn't want anyone to get sick. I paid a $41.00 deposit which is fine, I understand people need to be sure their appointments show up. However I have always understood that to be a refundable deposit. Not at Ivy+Oak. I guess this is a lesson to always read the fine print.

I recently had the privilege of coming to this beautiful salon to get my hair cut with Sierra who did an amazing job at shaping up my terribly over grown pixie that I’m trying to grow out. She was extremely attentive to my hair request and did an awesome job at educating me on how to style and care for my bleach blonde hair. I will definitely be coming back to see her, she is for sure a 10/10 in all things hair and personality!

Ivy and oak is not your regular wellness spa. Scott has been my stylist for years and he is nothing short of remarkable! I started seeing Josh as my medical Qigong practitioner. I had chronic urticaria (hives)for over a year which after one season resolved completely. I have less anxiety and insomnia. I often explain this as magic Josh will explain it better. Like I said in the beginning not your normal wellness spa they treat you like friends and family.

Very friendly staff. Not very satisfied with my hair cut. Very chopped, you can see the scissor cut. Not blended well and cut does not look like what I showed her.
