I stumbled in here after walking around 7 miles and was immediately able to get in for an hour with Paula. I had no expectations going in but came in with a very tender shoulder, and was absolutely taking care of. Deep yet sensitive pressure, and methodical, top notch Thai massage being offered here. I left with all my shoulder pain gone (she paid extra care and attention to this area) and I left feeling like a soft blissed out noodle. I would ask for Paula again as she was a very skilled practitioner and healer. Anytime I am in SF I will be back! 10/10 get some self care in here!

I’ve been coming here for years and wow do they save my life. Legit Thai massage, and both locations are set up in a very traditional Thai style. Every woman I have worked with at both locations has been STELLAR. Anita, Paula, Ram, Mai, Tara. All wonderful. I am a bodyworker and I get 85% of my own bodywork here. Highly recommend! Go for a 90 min or 2 hour. DO IT. :D

Had a traditional Thai massage here in August 2023. Paula was recommended to me and she was fantastic: Strong and skilled and intuitive. I asked for deep pressure and she delivered! I highly recommend this place.

Had one of the most amazing massages of my life here! My sore back and shoulders felt brand new--the 1 hour combination massage was excellent and fantastic experience for the price. The combination of the Thai and Swedish massage got deep into my aches and knots, and I even got some good back cracks in too.

I had my first Thai massage here. It was very intense but also relaxed my back muscles. In Thai massage they step on your body. The really strong pressure then makes your muscles relax. At this place they asked if I wanted them to walk on my back and if I had any places on my body which either needed attention or I did not want touched. They ask you to take off all your clothes but they provide very lightweight loose pajamas and you are also under a sheet. I am a woman and I has a male massage therapist but was totally comfortable that way. I recommend this if you have some muscle tension you need released! I also had the hot herbal treatment where they press hot towels filled with herbs all over your body. That felt truly soothing and relaxing.

It was my first Thai massage experience. I had mixed feelings by the end of it, I can say I'll probably not do another one, regular massages are way more relaxing and healing for me. The whole massaging with your feet standing on someone was kinda weird, felt tense the entire time, as they put sooo much pressure on one spot (I actually like deep massage, this felt like I needed to go do a normal massage after. Also they crack your back at the end without explaining that's what they're doing or asking if that's okay, which wasn't part of what I wanted done, they forced me to stretch in very uncomfortable positions. I was worried I'd be in pain after (not the good kind). Overall, it was neat to have tried it, but I don't recommend it.

Our go-to spot for massages. Reasonably priced and talented/friendly staff. We prefer the aroma oil massage since it’s not quite as intense as traditional Thai but you still get deep relief.

I Love Iyara! It feels like Thailand! My massage was beyond great! I had the Deep pressure points with some stretching and the heated Thai Herbal balls. Ram is truly a Master of Thai Massage. It was fine. However, the person working with me didn’t listen very well and worked on parts I had put x’s for on the body chart they give you so I had to repeat this a few times, and also didn’t really spend time on any areas I circled to indicate that they should be focused on. Way too much for the relatively moderate quality. Plus, the person at the front yelled for me to come back when I didn’t leave a tip. I generally tip well but this experience was not good. I ended up leaving a tip anyway because of the woman at the front desk but I won’t be coming back, and I’m extra mad that I was pressured into tipping. I came here a year ago and had a mediocre (but not quite as bad) experience. Looking at these reviews I have to wonder if the business has removed negative reviews.
