Not typically a person to write a negative review but this terrible experience warrants one. If I could give zero stars I would. I still pay for this to this day. To give a little background, I moved closer to the city and wanted a salon a little bit closer to my new house (someone suggested Izzazu). I made my appointment and I was excited! I went in for a full set of highlights. The hair stylist was Brandi. I ended up being there for about 6 hours. Brandi seemed to be in a rush b/c she needed to get home for a party she was hosting- leaving me without toner after the bleaching. I left completely unsatisfied. My hair was falling out in chunks when I got home. I had different color streaks left in my hair of orange hues. Still unsatisfied and completely embarrassed after spending my hard earned money, I tried to get into contact with the owner to come to a solution. I had to continue to call and call because the owner/manager didn’t have time to speak with me. I kept calling and finally I got to speak with the owner/manager. They said that they would be able to fit me in to get it fixed but there was no real fix to this my hair was completely brittle and straw-like. During my hair getting fix, the lady doing my hair seemed kind but I was getting dirty looks from her coworkers. I would NOT recommend this place whatsoever. I’m not really happy with the service i received. I wanted a FULL head of highlights, but i got gypped and she barely put any foils at the top of my head. It looks ridiculous and it was a waste of money

Kayla did a fantastic job with my color. Also, if you want an amazing blowout she is your girl. I never had someone style my hair so beautifully with just a hairdryer and a brush. I have some wild unruly hair and she really knew how to tame it against the Pittsburgh humidity.

One of your employees reeked of Marijuana the tall skinny girl with blonde hair I believe is the receptionist and works on the computer. Smelled like marijuana really bad. I probably don’t want her again thanks.

I had been a customer to Izzazu for 20 years. I’ve recommended numerous friends and family there. OG Izzazu was the best and top notch customer service. My family began seeing a newer stylist at the Wexford location and we were treated so disrespectfully and unfairly by this stylist, very unprofessional. The front desk was also very unwelcoming. This is not the Izzazu I have grown to love. I stayed quiet for a while but would love to see this addressed. I’ve reached out to the owners and hope to hear back soon.

I have had excellent experiences with Annie, Markus, Cesare, and Gino. I would HIGHLY recommend Lana for lashes. I've moved a little further away and will still drive to Pittsburgh for her services!
