Sophie has been my hair colorist/hairstylist for the past few years. She is a game changer. You can trust her to exceed any expectation. My favorite has been getting lived-in blonde highlights or balayage, and enjoying a the best cuts for my straight fine hair. This is the first time in my life my friends and coworkers have asked for a referral based on my results. So glad I found Sophie. A zillion stars!

Came in to get my highlights retouched and cut. My stylist was Kimi and she did such an amazing job. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new hair. It’s new and different. She was super friendly and attentive to what I wanted. Looking forward to seeing her again.

I’ve been a client at J Bauman! Wow, it’s been so many years, I’m not sure who suggested the salon, I need to thank whoever it was! 🤗 Kim Hon is my stylist! I love Kim! I always feel like I’m going to see a friend! The environment is really fun and relaxing for me ! I always see Kim for Great hair! My hair is super short, the Kind of cut that has to be perfect! Kim never misses, it always looks Amazing❣️ I get either highlights or low lights with my red base it’s hard to Find someone who does color so Much, you feel like they’re a hair artist!i If youre looking for someone who loves hair, Go see Kim Hon, trust me, you won’t be disappointed ! Thank you Kim 🌹🤗❤️ Sorry to say I no longer go to J Bauman. 2 years ago I fell and suffered a compound Fracture. I’ve had 5 surgeries and am headed for one more, hopefully the last. I called Kim to explain, she was less than understanding. I’ve suffered with other health issues during the time I worked with Kim. Kim also mentioned a 50% charge for missing the appointment. I tried to reschedule, I asked if she could accommodate me in a wheelchair. She said she’d call me back! I never received a call after that day! I always compensated Kim if I had to make a change, realizing it cost her if I made a change! I hope she’s doing well but due to the lack of response! I’ve moved on!💔

Danielle is an answer to prayer. I found J Bauman and I have never looked back. So much so I have since moved to Boston, and I fly down monthly to get my hair done. She is blonde and knows blondes, which gives me (a blonde) peace of mind. She is professional, always on time, and I always leave with a job well done from her. I have gotten to know the other stylists from coming here, and they do amazing work, are kind, and there really is a family atmosphere here. I love this salon, and now being my entire family. Danielle is truly a hair magician! I recently visited her at J. Bauman Salon, and I couldn’t be happier with my blonde hair and extensions. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made sure my color was the perfect shade of blonde—bright, dimensional, and natural-looking. Her attention to detail is unmatched, especially when it came to blending the extensions seamlessly with my natural hair. Not only is Danielle incredibly skilled, but she’s also so kind and professional, making the entire experience enjoyable. I left feeling confident, gorgeous, and so grateful to have found such a talented stylist. I’m currently living in Orlando but and I never had my hair so dry (hard water problems) even when I used a really good brands to take care of my hair the appointment was made by my husband which was a little afraid of my idea to renew my style, I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment and my stylist was basically ready for me (I love it) Ally is those kind of sweethearts people with an amazing care of the details and stunning customer service, taking her time to perform her job at the best of my requirements I just show her a picture of the haircut that I was looking to get and she took the whole time to take care of my hair my time and my requirements giving me an amazing time to enjoy myself while I got the queen treatment also offered me a kit of products that will help me with my dryness due to the hard water problems that Orlando cause on me! If you want to be treated as a queen with amazing products and attention to the details don’t hesitate to visit this salon and ask for ALLY. Thanks Ally I’m more than satisfied and happy with my new haircut 🥰

I’ve debated leaving this review for a long time but I had a horrible experience at this salon a while back. I asked for layers, long layers and even provided inspiration pictures of what I wanted. I had 3 feet of hair when I went into the salon and wasn’t looking to take too much length off. The stylist put my hair all up into a ponytail and proceeded to just chop it off without any care and had to audacity to give me the ponytail of hair back. Zero attention to length and did not listen to anything I had to say about what I wanted. I walked out with a short blunt bob like style and it was incredibly humiliating. Would not recommend this salon.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years now and have always had a great experience… Except for my last appointment a few months ago. I originally had my appointment booked with someone else but then I received a call asking if I could come to the salon earlier. I did, but I was expecting the appointment to be with the same person I booked online, but it wasn’t; it was by someone named John. I then received the worst haircut I’ve ever received. It wasn’t horrible by any means, but definitely not what I’m used to from this salon. I’m usually really happy with my haircuts from this salon, but I was really disappointed with this one. He also charged me more than I’m normally charged for a haircut at this salon. I wish the receptionist would’ve told me that with my appointment time change, the stylist would also change. I felt like I wasted $80 on a bad haircut. I’m giving 3 stars because all of my other experiences here have been great.

I went here to get my hair done with Danielle. OMG she did an amazing job, I walked out looking like a whole new person. I’ve wanted this hair color for years and never once has someone been able to do it EXCEPT Danielle. She is amazing, and has an amazing personality. She makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend overall. She takes her time to make sure you leave looking like perfection 💕

Anna Le was she great! She made me feel secure after not going to a stylist for 5 years after a bad expirence. She was everything I ever wanted in a consultation, she understood everything easily and executed everything to meet my needs and was very attentive to make sure I was comfortable the whole time . Worst experience ever, this salon doesn’t care about customer service or making sure the customer is satisfied. They charged my card without authorization and then blamed their policies and did nothing at all to accommodate, I paid $250 for NOTHING. I didn’t receive a service. In times like today where everything is so expensive at least a half refund when I didn’t even receive a service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND giving them your card information, especially over the phone. They will charge you!!!!

Had my hair done in March by Anna Le. She was very kind during my visit. With what she was working with, I think she tried her best. I have long, course, thick hair and wanted a transformation from a very dark brown to a blonde balayage. I expressed from the beginning that I knew it would take more than one session to get what I wanted. Throughout my visit, things seemingly went well. Towards the last 1.5 hours, she had another client to attend to so passed me off to another stylist. The reason I give this 3 stars is because 1. I feel like we could have done more, she even said herself that my hair was lifting more than she expected. 2. I’m not sure what products they use exactly, however my hair has been in the worst condition it’s ever been. This didn’t start immediately after my visit, more like 3 weeks later. And i’ve gone from jet black to near platinum without this kind of damage. Overall, I don’t see myself returning here, however the stylists were nice and the ambiance of the salon was relaxing.

While the service was great and the colorist was really good and the salon was okay. I just can't justify the price of service. I've had my hair done for years in other large "expensive" cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Toronto, Vancouver and it was a quarter of what I paid to get my hair done here. After a few visits I decided to call it quits. I just don't think the price justifies the service. You can go to Hollywood in Los Angeles CA and spend the same money in a solon where celebrities get their hair done for the same price, and the saddest part is that people in Florida don't make California money. Find yourself a new salon my friends, or get ripped off. I'm giving this low ratings because this place is way overpriced

Had an excellent cut by Naomi! After visiting three Barbershops and hair salons in Orlando I finally found a great place! Everyone in the salon were super friendly, and the prices are fair. Naomi took her time to understand exactly the haircut I wanted and was extremely detailed. I will certainly be back!
