I recently went in for a haircut and was so impressed with how it turned out! My stylist did an amazing job; the cut was exactly what I was hoping for. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves recognition! The whole experience was great, and I’m already planning my next visit to try a new color. Highly recommend this salon!

I was referred to Angelica after I decided to leave my old stylist of 10 years. I have thick curly hair and need color and really knowledgeable cuts. I was skeptical of the salon initially because of the location. Yet the expertise of Angelica removed that fear after our first appointment. Attentive, caring and knowledgeable. My hair looks the best it has in years. So grateful for her and her team!

Went in a few months ago for a quick wash and trim with some layering, walked out with my hair looking the healthiest it’s ever looked in my life. The ladies who washed and cut my hair were so nice and did an absolutely phenomenal job, and the experience here was incredibly relaxing.

I had never been here before but went in for a wash and haircut because it's close to my house. Claudia started with shampooing and MASSAGING my scalp and it felt so good. Then Ceci cut and styled my hair, not allowing me to see in the mirror, but knowing she was making me look like a movie star. They easily held a conversation with me and really made me feel at home. The haircut is amazing and smells like strawberries. Definitely left a good tip. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going for about a year. And I always told them not to cut my hair because I love my hair long. So I kept wondering why my hair was not growing more. So we got suspicious and were alert on my next hair appointment and we specifically told them again. Do not cut because you told us that with the hair treatment I did not need a haircut. So we caught the girl doing my hair cutting my hair without my knowing. Last then they told me I had to change my blond to as different color so I changed to a red color in which the owner Angelica told us it would be much cheaper with only one color. Be aware they will cut your hair without you knowing and they will give you services you don’t agree took. High prices. Angelica lies about the prices. And then goes higher. Do not recommend and do not trust. They will ruin your hair. Now working on repairing my hair. Their sweet kind words are fake. Be careful. Do not trust.

I went in to get my bangs cut and had an amazing experience! The owner and her staff were all so amazing and nice and took great care of me! They triple checked the length I wanted before cutting and even styled my hair for me before I left! I would highly recommend JBrandon’s and their caring team!!

I've gotten many haircuts throughout the years (many of them I wasn't impressed with) until I came here. I'm very impressed with how these ladies cut hair, so much so that I think it just might create world peace!!

It is hard to find a new place when your stylist of 40 years moves away.. tried once this summer...disaster.. howver, VRRY PLEASED with J Brandon's. The stylist took time to collaborate with me on a style. They listened. Very professional. Perfect! We'll be back!

Cleanest and sleekest salon I’ve seen in Austin, location doesn’t do it justice. Not a cookie cutter franchise, rather come here than any high end salon. Feels like Swedish modern in terms of aesthetic. The cut was perfect, well trained staff.

I came into this salon asking for a shorter haircut that has long layers and to make sure that all of my hair can be pulled into a low pony. I showed many photos of what I wanted. What I received was layers up to the middle of my head that are completely uneven and choppy. But what the worst part of my experience was the customer service experience with the owner. I came back into the salon to have them blend in the haircut to help the layers lay better and the owner just kept telling me “the technique is there” and completely disregarded the poor quality of the cut. She told me that I should just not wear my hair straight and that I needed to learn how to style my hair and should purchase a whole new styling tool. I re-showed her the pics I originally showed her before the initial haircut and she told me it wasn’t what I showed her. I felt like crying as she was just trying to convince me there was nothing wrong with the cut and I shouldn’t think this haircut is poor. There was no empathy for the fact I cannot wear my hair the way I like to (straight or in a low pony) and she got upset with me by the end of the apt that I was not happy with the cut. She didn’t want to help, she just wanted to prove to me she was right. Honestly left me speechless leaving the salon. They refunded my money thankfully. Some empathy or an apology for the poor hair cut or the mistake made on their end would have helped remedy the situation but I that didn’t not happen. The photo was taken after they “blended” the layers yesterday. Just a poor experience overall.

I've been bouncing around from stylist to stylist since I moved to Austin a few years ago, but I've now found my home at Brandon's. Angelica Vargas consistently gives me a great haircut! Everyone is very friendly and helpful, making the overall experience very pleasant and relaxing.

My first haircut here was wonderful. I chose to go from a bob to a short pixie. Cecelia did an amazing job and I'm very pleased. The salon is spacious and very clean. I will definitely be returning.

Super friendly! Stylist was willing to try to do an undercut for me but wasn't known for knowing how to do designs. She still tried her best and gave me a great experience! Good prices as well :)

Amazing service and very sweet employees. I will not go to any other salons any more until I leave Austin. They gave me a relaxing wash then beautiful haircut and styling. after that did my eyebrows, everything went really smooth. It was so easy to get an appointment and as I walked in pretty impressed with the clean and neat atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

Cecilia brought light and shine to my hair! Literally my hair was beautiful in color yet very dry. Angelica provided options and educated me with ideal maintenance I was looking for. Keratin is reviving my locks too 🥰

I was visiting from out of town for a wedding, called the salon to make an appt the day of the wedding and Angelica Vargas took care of me. My updo was styled perfectly for the day and they even offered to help me with makeup if needed. I highly recommend this salon!!!

Salon is located on the US290 highway. Salon is maintained very clean despite being crowded with customers. Staffs are friendly. It is advised to prebook a slot for services. Wide parking space with reserved parking is available within the mall complex.
