Jong Han is professional!!! I got a bad haircut in Davis before but Jong saved my hair style. Her price is reasonable and she is so great at cutting Asian hair. Definitely worth the drive.

The service here is horrible and I mean HORRIBLE! I’ve been here a couple times wanting to give this place another chance and every time I go here the service is even worse than the last time. The hairdresser (which is the owner of this place) refused to shave my beard after I kindly asked her to to which I somewhat understand since it would take up more of her time, I asked her why she wouldn’t shave my beard to which she answered with “I don’t want to.” All I can say is wow. That’s not even the worst part. What really disgusted me was that in the middle of my haircut session she went and used the restroom, since the place was quiet at the time, I could effortlessly hear the sounds coming from inside the restroom, it didn’t sound like she washed her hands before she came out. When she was done cutting my hair I asked if I could take a look at the back of my hair, I assumed she would be holding a hand mirror and reflecting the back view toward the front mirror so I can easily see but she gave me this “do it yourself” look. I left without giving her a tip. And the place charges you $25 for a simple 5-7 minute haircut.

My wife goes here for her hair and is always super happy with the results. She mentioned Jong does men's haircuts as well so I took a chance. Jong was super nice and I got a fresh looking haircut! Her rates are really good too. I almost don't want to put up a review just to keep this place for myself.

The hairdresser was absolutely unprofessional and does not listen to what the client wants. She cut my hair in her own way. She cut it very quickly and not diligently. Another client was waiting for her and she was in a hurry. I was shocked as she washed my hair and at the same time asked me if I washed my hair? I felt her tugging at my hair and her nails hitting my scalp. In addition, the hairbrushes in the salon are not very well-kept and the towels seemed not clean. There was hair and dust everywhere. I was simply shocked how she cut my daughter’s hair, she left salon in tears. The a haircut was a joke. I will give preference to Karma.

I have gotten a digital perm + haircut (wolf cut/mullet-ish) multiple times here, and every time it has come out really good! I normally show Ms. Jong a picture of what I’m looking for, and she always does it justice. She’s very nice too! For me, my woman’s digital perm + hair cut was $180 without tip, and it typically lasts for three months with good hair care!

The owner is a nice lady and her haircuts are good if you tell her want you and and show her pictures. They do tend to overbook and I've had to wait an extra 10 min or so, but I didn't mind.

I have been searching hard for a salon that can perm root to lift up my limp flat hair, kinda give it some volume but still look natural (Korean root perm style). This kind of perm is very popular in Asia, but seem to be new here in US. After got turn down by many salon, I happened to call J.J salon in Korean town, to my surprise, Mrs.JJ know exactly what I am talking about!! Here I am, spent 2 hours on roots perming, the owner is super nice and friendly, the price is hard to beat (only $100 for whole session include shampoo wash). She was so nice to help with my special request to roll perm my bang up for beach wave to frame my face perfectly. I going to keep perm it once the root grow back longer, probably within 3 months, definitely come back here again. I am loving her work so much. By the way, she is the only one working so be kind to this nice lady, her appointment always booked up long so make sure to call ahead.

The Korean lady was so professional and nice, She did a great job on cutting and perming both me and my mom's hair. And her price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

This's my second visit. Not your typical fancy hair salon, it's more homey vibe, but I got a haircut and digital perm at a reasonable price. Miss J also took time with my damaged hair instead of rushing through it. Would come back again.

Mrs. Jong is a good hairstylist. I wanted layered hair trim and digital perm, she done it really well and gentle. I am happy with the result. She does her work patiently and make sure many times I was fine. Her prices were great for what I got. So many hair salons over charge people, but NOT here. For someone likes korean/japanese hairstyles such digital perm/wave perm/straight perm/layered hair cut I would recommed to call her and set appointment ahead. I'll be back in the future.
