I recently visited J. Phillipe Salon and had the pleasure of having Donna as my stylist. She gave me an amazing haircut and color that exceeded my expectations. As a vivid hair girly for 5 years now I know never to expect my exact “inspiration” but Donna killed it! She literally gave me exactly what i had in mind. The consultation was very thorough and she was upfront about pricing. Also she was super aware of my tender head and for the first time in ages i left a full day color appointment without an aching scalp! 10/10 recommend

I recently got my hair done here for the first time by Chase and only have the best things to say!! Chase did so amazing on my hair and went completely above and beyond to ensure it was exactly what I wanted! Her and the rest of the staff were so kind, knowledgeable, and created a great atmosphere to be in! I would definitely recommend this salon 100%!!

I’ve been to Chase at J Phillipe twice and have loved my cut and color both times. I was too blonde and wanted to go darker. Chase does an amazing job! The first photo is before and after my first appt and then before the first and after the second appt. She does a balayage so it grows out very nicely and I can go about 4 months between appointments.

As if my before & after pictures don't speak for themselves... you NEED to go see Chase at J. Phillipe Salon! I thankfully stumbled upon her on social media, saw pictures of her work, and immediately contacted her. She is THE hair girl I've been looking for. She listens to you, she offers suggestions, and then she works her magic. Aside from her insane hair skills, she is incredibly kind and easy to talk to! All of the girls at the salon were so sweet and I truly give the whole experience a 10/10. Thank you, Chase, for bringing the life back to my hair! You're amazing!

Found Chase at J. Phillipe Salon through a social media post. I was overdue for a haircut and also looking for a new stylist. I'm always nervous to try new salons but I am so happy I gave this place a try. Chase was so easy to talk to, very pleasant, and attentive to my cut request. I was able to observe the other staff in action with their clients; they all seemed friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They each shared their knowledge while recommending hair products and potential services. I walked out super happy with my cut and having met a down to earth stylist. Needless to say, I will definitely be returning to see Chase at J. Phillipe Salon. ❤

Spent the day at the salon yesterday. Jonathan did an incredible job transforming my hair to salt and pepper with silver highlights in the front. Everyone was so much fun and took such good care of me. It was fascinating to watch the process. Great effort to perform the most amazing art on my hair. Great cut, too. So happy I did this — Merry Christmas to me!!

Chase did a great job with my hair! I initially asked for a particular color and then I changed my mind about it. She was super understanding and made adjustments without hesitation. I recently had my first appointment with Chase, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Like anyone visiting a new hair stylist for the first time, I was a bit nervous, but Chase put me at ease right away. She took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted, and she worked her magic to deliver exactly that. The attention to detail and care she put into my hair was truly impressive. I hadn’t had any touch up’s or maintenance to my hair since February, and I was dealing with discoloration and dark roots. Chase transformed it beautifully, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how it turned out and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Chase for making my hair look amazing! I can rock my new hair for my birthday this August ❣️

I did my research before choosing Jonathan / J Phillipe Salon for a total hair transformation! So grateful for his patience & extra effort to ensure we were on the same page prior to the appt & throughout my entire 6-7 hr process. He is probably the most proactive & communicative "hair magician" I have encountered to date - it was an immense reassurance! Thrilled with the results! Atmosphere is intimate & welcoming. Feels like a local neighborhood beauty salon- really added to the experience!

I was very pleased with the service I received from Nicole! Not only did she give me a lovely haircut, she also was very knowledgeable about curly hair as a whole and shared some of that knowledge with me. Not every hairdresser has extensive knowledge of curly hair so I was very glad to find one locally. I will return!!

I LOVE MY HAIR! The salon may look unassuming from the outside hidden in this complex, but wow! My stylist, Donna, worked magic with my hair. I got a full balayage, cut, deep conditioning treatment, and she finished off with a lovey beach wave style. The color couldn't have turned out any better. Donna was super friendly and provided me with a complimentary beverage while getting my hair done. All the stylists in the salon were fun and friendly. I came out of that salon feeling incredibly beautiful. Also, I have to add that they had the best smelling hand towels in the restroom.

Hello Love! I always do a ton of research to find a good hair dresser, and every time I am happy for the first 6 months...or year, and then my hair ends up unhealthy. Or the cut starts to go bad ... Jonathan is the cure! He is so thorough, and he always makes hair health super important. He listens to you and keeps a file so that even though I don't see him monthly, he knows the details when I show up. When he texts me or when I walk in the door, he never fails to say "Hello Love" and I love that about him. I ask for challenging styles and color combinations. He never dissapoints. I feel like he gives me honest feedback if I get too impulsive. He also let's me take some risk when I'm in the mood. I'm confident that he has my best interest at heart. Make an appointment. You won't be sorry.

I have been seeing some gray hairs coming in, and wanted to find something to do to my hair with highlights. I’ve never had blonde in my hair and I was a bit nervous but Chase reached out before the appointment to introduce herself and ease my concerns. She exceeded my expectations and did a phenomenal job and I’m obsessed with the final results. My hair looks healthier and feels healthier, and is brighter than ever. Love it!

Seriously the best stylist I have EVER been to! Jonathan takes the time to listen to me, find out what I wanted and also asked me specifics on things I didn’t want. I have really dark hair and have always been told in the past that I was limited in what I could do with lightening my hair. Jonathan provided everything I was wanting and more! I had the best blonding experience with Nicole! It was my first time at the salon, but they definitely made me feel at home. She really took the time to find out what I was looking for and educated me on every step in the process. I had color correction done previously, so I was nervous about blonding again. Nicole did an amazing job getting me back to a natural looking blonde without damaging my hair at all. She even taught me how to style my hair at the end of the appointment! Not only is she very talented at what she does, but she has such a friendly and welcoming personality. This is definitely my home salon now!

I have repeatedly had some pretty bad haircuts. From places that I thought would be great simply because they were supposed to be luxury services. Boy was I wrong. I went to J Philipe to get my hair fixed. There was so much wrong and not only did he fix it, but he gave me the best haircut I’ve had in about a decade. So thankful to have found him.

I just want to say I love love LOVE J.Phillipe Salon! I was born and raised in Miami where everyone can do hair! When I moved to the Carolina’s I was never quite 100% happy with my hair, no matter where or who I went to . Donna is phenomenal! She does fantastic color and cutting! She listens to you and takes her time. I also watched Jonathan at work and speaking to his clients about how color works and his expertise . Both are very knowledgeable and they work so closely together. I have finally found my place!

Jonathan did a gray transformation for me. It took 15 hours. He was a trooper. I have a lot of hair. He is so knowledgeable about color and the coloring process. He pivoted several times when my hair was doing some funky things. He left me with gray hair that I just love and I’m really excited about. I would highly recommend this process! And really, I would recommend working with Jonathan. He is a lovely human being that really cares about his clients, and that is pretty hard to find nowadays.

Jonathan is a hair goddess! I have never been to a stylist that was able to achieve the blonding I was wanting until I now. Also, I loved how he made feel like I had been getting my hair done there forever… the conversation flowed well and the 5 hours I was there flew by.
