Highway robbery, They Don't Listen To You. They don't listen to your requests or concerns. They Rush Through The Appointment, They Are Inconsistent the sizes were all different and uneven, They Overcharge You and most importantly They Use Poor Quality Products. I get that you want to save money in your “salon” it’s a shack tbh but you would expect quality products being used for $350 at the bare minimum. They intimidate your opinions oh that’s too small that’s this that’s that out of being lazy and inconvenient for them. Maybe they were good at one point but now they are washed up.

I was just there yesterday, 06/27. I closed the night out with the ladies. When I first called, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The woman who answered the phone was polite but to the point. I walked in for a consultation (my hair is short), and was met with the friendliest smile. I didn’t have an appointment but they agreed to fit me in anyway. I got butt-length small box braids bc my hair is too short for knotless ($350/hair included). They did a wonderful job. The braids are so beautiful and neat and they will last longer than knotless. The ladies, Crystal and Yolanda, were very patient. They offered me a short break to grab a bite and was very professional overall. I was there with them for about 8hrs. My hair is tight but not detrimentally so.. I can tell it will loosen up in a day or two. This is expected. I really had a great experience and would return.

Rushed and overpriced. Your ends with be trashy and hair done to her convenience not yours. This lady does not know size and runs you up on your dollar. This place is located in the ghetto and they will treat you like a thief. I hope the owner Jackie reads this to improve her environment because it smells like fish. Sitting for 5 hours was not pleasant

This is my first time getting my hair braided and wash . Omg when I tell you my hair feels so amazing 🤩. Ms Jackie is fast and quick . She gets the job done and plus my head small so it did not take long for Knotless , I would highly recommend her and her clients. Thank you so much Ms Jackie 💕💕💕💕🙌🏾

Stay A Hour Away From A Salon Only To Get To The Hair Store 5 mins away from the salon for a last minute emergency from my hairdresser left me stranded without no remorse and no one there could do the style I recommend definitely don’t recommend to anyone drove a hr away just to be disappointed when I have a whole wedding to go to in a few hrs this is a disaster

The atmosphere in the shop was amazing. The stylist were pleasant and pricing is reasonable. I love LOVE my braids. I recommend.

UPDATE: So far 10 of my braids have slipped out. They aren’t even parted evenly in the back. Looks like she just grabbed a piece of Shri and started braiding. I also had an allergic reaction to the braiding hair. My entire scalp broke out, flakes, patches just disgusting. I will never go back to this place ever again. Played in my head and got me for $250! UPDATE. I had an awesome experience at Jackies! I called on Wed to schedule an appt for Fri late afternoon. I was given my deposit and full price with the hair included. I originally asked for knotless since I have had such bad experiences with box braids. But when I got to the salon the stylist said my hair was too soft for knotless. 😩 I kinda knew that already but I was hoping for a miracle. She suggested box braids and I told that braiders in the past have gripped all my thoughts and ideas into them braids and my head would be too sore to sleep, eat or even think! I have lost most of my edges and still fighting to this day to grow em back. She assured me she wouldn't pull too tight and would leave the few strands I had around my crown alone. Two ladies worked on my hair and I was done in about 3 hours. I love my hair! ❤️The braids are neat and tight and don’t hurt at all. The salon was clean when I got there and I was able to sit down and get started. There was some boxes in the front maybe some storage stuff but I had a great experience and will be a repeat customer. I forgot to ask the ladies names that did my hair.

Very unprofessional. All I told her was my distaste to the pricing of the hair style I wanted. I didn’t do anything wrong to her or towards her. This woman hung up on me. TERRIBLE WORK ETHIC.

A friend was coming to town and needed cornrows. I called Thursday morning and made an appointment with Andia for Saturday morning. I asked her do I need to call and confirm since reviews say they are late or no shows. She laughed and took my number in case something came up. Saturday morning we got there. The owner was there, but not Andria.. I told her we made an appointment and advised Andria about pervious review concerns. She called Andria and told her to get there. The owner was working on someone else's hair. Then said Andria probably couldn't do the cornrows due to hair being 3 to 4 inches.She stated Adriana lacked experience on shorter hair, and recommended adding weave hair. The office was extremely cluttered with boxes and fixture. I would NOT recommend them. Very unprofessional. Andria never called to apologize for wasting our time or not showing up. Had the haid done with someone else, WITHOUT weave.

I was recommended by a family member that had wonderful things to say. I trusted that my daughter would be in good hands. However, my daughter was saddened by the rudeness of one of the staff. Your kids should NEVER be disrespected by adults! Also, the style I paid for was NOT what my daughter asked for even after the staff seen pictures and assured she would get it.

Enjoyed my experience. I got the Senegalese twists and it took approximately 3 1/2 hrs . Pleased with the outcome. Two people did tag team for the majority of my hair. They were friendly. Salon is clean to include the bathroom. They do however charge $5 if you're paying with a credit card and I had to pay a $50 deposit when I booked my appointment.

I just got my hair done June .6,2019 my hair is fabulous very nice neat got there @3:30 no appointment and was completely polish and finish by 8:30 I will recommend everybody to come they are efficient friendly and fast very nice and clean always! Thank you Jacky and your sisters excellent Job keep up the good WORK👍and the price is right!!!

Been here twice. I specifically asked for large braids one time and got very small ones. Second time I went I had to wait over 30 minutes for the owner to get there because she forgot.

Went here because a friend said they do great work and don't braid too tight. Made my appt, got there and waited for about 30 minutes for them to open because she forgot about my appt... she was driving and didn't write it down... but didn't tell me she was driving when I called...I would've called back, no problem. The women were super nice about it so I let that go. Paid over 200 for faux locs and my head hurt beyond a week and there were not the size I wanted. Took them down and I now have TWO bald spots because they were so tight they pulled my hair out. 1 star. Again, the women are very nice and environment is comfortable, but I won't be going back or recommending. Did I mention my hair caught fire because while she was burning the ends and we had to haul ass to a sink? Things that spray from a can tend to be flammable and she sprayed a lot.
