I just moved here and needed a haircut. I was greeted by a young lady who was very nice. Because I was a new client I received a little bag with some hand and a business card of my stylist. Yoshie was very nice. I showed her how my hair looks in my pictures. Many people complemented me on how beautiful my hair looks. I've got wavy-curly thick hair. For the 1st time I didn't need to "restyle" or put up in a pony after leaving. They offered a shoulder-neck or hand-forearm massage. My hands are still smooth but they were slippery for a while afterwards. The salon was somewhat busy for a Thursday morning, I waited about 5-10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I was a little surprised at the cost but I know my old hairdresser was kind to me. I'll go back though, but I think every 8 weeks instead of 6.

I can honestly say I have never received such great service at a hair salon before ever in my life! I called to see if they accepted walk ins and they immediately put me down for an appointment within a couple hours. I saw Bayleigh and she gave me the best experience ever! She listened to exactly what I wanted. Also, when I first walked in they gave me a little goodie bag since it was my first time at the salon! They also offered me a free mini facial! I had never received a facial before and I’m already excited to go back. Overall the whole experience was great and I would recommend this salon (and Bayleigh!) to everyone!

One of the salons in Greensboro that plays favourites. I was on the waiting list for months to see a stylist of my choice for a particular day but could not get an appointment. Another client got one when she called to schedule for the same day two weeks before. How is it fair to be justified????

2023: Desiree is phenomenal! She worked with my strange hair patterns and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. She’s a great listener and has a very upbeat personality. Another super talented designer working at Jade salon. 2018: Excellent service and great cut by Robin. Clipper cuts do not look good on me, so I requested someone who would use only scissors. She knew exactly what to do and I have somewhat difficult hair. Very happy with this salon.

A wonderful place to get your haircut and they offer a facial, neck massage and one other option included in your haircut. The staff is amazing and they are super friendly. Very relaxing!

Amazing!! From the moment that I walked in the experience began. The young lady At the front door greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome. I only waited 5 minutes, if that, for my stylist to greet me. Alexandria is incredible. She is personable, fun, knowledgeable, and conversational. We were made for each other. I have never been to a place that made me feel important and special the way I felt today. Big thank you to Alexandria for the amazing job you did to make me feel beautiful as well as all the staff. I will without a doubt be back. Thank you thank you thank you for making this stressed out mom feel special and absolutely gorgeous today. See you soon

I had my first appointment at Jade at Friendly today and had a terrific experience. I arrived with a hair style that was a hot mess because I had been chopping on it for months, and left with a beautiful and professional style. Brandi was outstanding and gave me the cut I needed and wanted. I will definitely be returning to her!

I tried to book an appointment twice, but both times I was on hold for 10 minutes and never got to talk to a human. You can book some appointments online, but not for coloring services, so this isn’t an option either.

I usually wouldn’t leave a bad review or a good review, but I’m really upset with what happened and so I’m going to share my experience. The staff and everyone there was super friendly and it was just such a nice environment. I was a brand new guest so they generously offered a complementary neck massage. Then my stylist met me by the couches while waiting for her and she asked me what I wanted to do so we walked over to her chair and I was explaining that I had a reference photo which I showed her and that I wanted to cut off some length because a lot of the ends were dead from bleaching it. When I showed her my reference photo, she told me that it was really nice and that the style could easily be done because my hair length reached the small of my back. Then she asked me what was the shortest I was willing to go, and I told her I wanted to keep it below my shoulders, and I gestured to a spot below my armpit area. When she made the first cut, it was the at the shortest length I was willing to go, but it was a nice length so I told her that I was OK with it. Then she faced me away from the mirror and began cutting. When she turned me back in front of the mirror, she moved my hair to be in view and the left side was cut dramatically shorter than the right. She must have noticed my facial expression because she said, “don’t worry I will even it out”. By the end of the haircut, I was super shocked by how short my hair had become. My almost waist length hair now sat at the base of my neck. Once I left, I went home, really looked in the mirror at my new haircut, and began to cry. Growing your hair out takes a lot of time and in two hours this girl managed to cut off years of growth. My hair now sits way above my shoulders and now I have to learn to love this length, even though every single time I see it, it makes me want to cry. This sounds shallow, but I am very insecure and my hair used to make me feel really good about myself. So I just want to get on here and warn everybody that you should really research your stylist. Please don’t make my mistake!

I would give it zero stars if I could, pictures speak for themselves, is the worst experience I have ever had, the first stylist left it very uneven and anyone with eyes could tell it was very bad, still he was Okey with his job and wouldn't see an issue they offered me to go back and fix it with a different stylist, The person who was assigned to me was clearly annoyed and even tried to convince me that the first job was done correctly and that I shoudl just keep the longer hair in the back and the shorter bits in the front. Anyways she tried to fix it and again couldn't get a proper hair cut done, and was starting to be rude by the end of the service. I paid 80 usd and was just offered to go back again so they could try and fix it, ofc I didn't go back for a 3rd attempt, I had already had to cut it many inches shorter than what I wanted so I booked and appointment at a different salon. Please if you like your hair and dont want to waste your time and money don't come here!!!! Only positive thing I can say, people are mostly nice, they just don't know how to cut hair.

I'm leaving a five star review because the people are amazing. The service is friendly warm and welcoming, and the quality of the cuts are always exceptional. HOWEVER, when I first started to get my hair cut here 9 or 10 years ago, I had no grey hair whatsoever. Currently, I have a LOT of grey hair. So I can only assume that this salon has made me go grey. I do not want to tarnish their excellent reputation with this strikingly concerning issue. But there's no other possible reason that my hair could have gone grey over this length in time. I should point out that I refuse to see any other salon about this because undoubtedly the service and quality of cuts would not be as exceptional. This group is truly wonderful, and if I have to go all the way grey to receive this quality of work. Then I've decided it will be worth the price. I just wanted to let them know that I KNOW what they're doing. I don't know how. But I know they're doing it. Perhaps it's in the water they conveniently keep to refresh me, or something in the lovely atmosphere. I will update my review if I figure it out, but they're so kind, it's hard to imagine what it could be.

I've had many good haircuts here, but the last stylist really just didn't have enough training or practice. She wasn't able to complete the cut evenly and needed to call over a more experienced stylist to help her even things out. I respect that she sought that advice, but I feel that my hair is still a little ragged and it is definitely shorter than I asked for. All staff members kept a professional attitude, but be aware that stylists in the "lowest tier" may not have as much experience as you might hope, even though you still pay $50 for their services! Update: The salon manager reached out by phone after replying to my original review. She listened to my feedback and we had a clarifying conversation. She said the salon would have been happy to fix my haircut, but by that time I had already gone to a different salon for a revision. I asked if she was open to giving me a partial refund and she countered by offering my next haircut free at Jade (any stylist). I am satisfied with this resolution and added a star because I feel that all salon staff acted professionally.

Jenna was amazing!!! I had a four hour appointment for a custom color and she killed it. I also got a facial and a massage and even a glass of wine !!!! I'm definitely coming back ... The staff is so friendly!!! 100 out of 100 recommend!!!

This place is amazing! I came here to get my hair styled for prom and Kelly did an amazing job! She did it just how I wanted it! She was so nice and engaged in conversation! The other ladies around us were also super nice! The inside of this place is also gorgeous! I will definitely be back! It was also a good price.

Up until Madison here at Jade Salon, no one EVER could get my hair right. Not only are the stylists experts say their jobs, they’re all incredibly friendly and positive. Very good listeners to any silly stories, and even better listeners when it comes to your hair. I really recommend this place for cuts and especially for color!
