Nikki is fabulous! I’ve been coming to Jade Salon since 2018 and every time I leave this place looking and feeling like a DIVA. I always receive so many compliments from my friends and family. She is always accommodating to my schedule and books an appointment right away even though she has so many customers. Her service is excellent and she takes great care of me while I’m there. I highly recommend this place.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at salon. I went in for balayage with subtle caramel highlights, and I showed pictures of what I wanted, and my hair came out completely over-processed bleached. There are areas of my hair that look gray, and that was not what I was going for at all. While Nikki did offer to tone it down for free, I did not want to return because the wash out was the most aggressive one I've ever had, so much so that I was wincing while she was doing it. I had water sprayed in my eyes and into my ears. Nikki said that her spray nozzle wasn't working properly and she was going to get it replaced, but that it tended to splash clients, she said this to me after she handed me a stained towel to wipe my face, and I was left wondering why I wasn't offered a clean towel to cover my eyes from the start, especially if she knew it might splash me. I have never had so much water sprayed into my ears like that. It was so uncomfortable, and for days afterwards I had water draining out of my ears and worried that it had damaged my ears. Not only that, but she was very carless about the dye around the hairline and I had to use a loofah to scrub the dye off my skin. When she was blowing out my hair with a round brush dryer it still had hair from another client in it. I just felt like Nikki was not professional or very considerate of her clients feelings. After my hair had been blow-dried, I said that it looked way blonder than what I was going for, and she offered to tone it then, but at that point it was such an unpleasant experience that I just wanted to get out of there. The cost at the end was also a shock, as it was much more than she quoted me through text, which was $95+, I wish she would have told me upfront how much extra it would be before she started. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Nikki, and requested she refund me but never heard back.

I went to Jade Salon for the first time a couple weeks ago to get some highlights done. I showed Nikki a picture of what I wanted done and she did a great job at creating very blended and natural highlights. The color of the highlights were lighter than I am used to so I went back today to get them toned down to a light brown that would blend naturally with my hair. Nikki was very kind and did an amazing job at getting it to just the right color. She even made sure I left the salon feeling comfortable with the new color and healthier than when I came in! I definitely recommend coming to Jade Salon for quality hair coloring/styling in addition to the other various beauty services she provides! Thank you, Nikki!

I'm so glad I went to this salon Nikkie is amazing before I met her for at least 10 years I never were my hair down cause I hated it, I have afro hair, it was short, doll, dried and just looked terrible, she starred treating my hair and its a complete turn around, now is soft, has shape that a love and it has grown at least 5 inches, my hair was black first and I really loved it its always been black I decided to change my hair to a brown color and I love it too after 3 hours nikkie made the magic happen shes obolutely incredible, ever since she started treating my hair I have been able to wear it down and love it, shes super nice and sweet, very loving and caring for my hair needs needles to say I've found someone I trust with my difficult hair and love it, I highly recommend recommend her and I have to all my friends, Thanks Nikkie your the best ❤

Pathetic services…no punctuality…i waited 30mins on the door….that day i reached there just 2mins bfore but the lady sent me the msg just 1min before that she will be late for 30mins….i did yuko hair straightening (Japanese hair straightening)…. She just ruined my hair …..it was my 6th time i ws doing Japanese straightening…so i knw what to do and what not to do after completing the process ….i maintained everything for next 3 days….but after 3.5 days when i 1st wash my hair…i saw in so many places i still have my natural curls…which was totally unexpected…and now after 3months of opting for the Japanese straightening in JADE SALON i can surely say…whatever she did with my hair was definitely not the Yuko Japanese hair straightening…

Went here to get my hair bleached and colored and Nikki did an amazing job! She’s super nice and was extremely knowledgeable about everything I asked her from how to take care of my hair after getting it dyed to what kind of haircuts best suit my hair type. She’s also been very responsive whenever I need to contact her, would highly recommend!

Don't even try . I booked an appointment for 4 PM day before For three of us, When we arrived for our appointment, she already had two other customers and she denied that we booked any appointment for that particular time. I showed her the text messages that she confirmed our appointment, she rudely denied that she didn't confirm the appointment. but still I want to get haircut for my 13 years old daughter. She unhappily did the haircut. even though she charged $45 but In purpose she ruined her hair.

I called and asked if i could be seen the next day. I was told. Yes. I was told id be seen at 3. I show up and it says closed. I wait a bit more and no ones shows up. I call. I text. So after an hour i decide to leave. 3 hrs i get a call back and get asked if i still need an appointment. No apology or explanation and just hangs up when i said "No ma'am, not anymore". Very disappointed. Unprofessional. They could of at least called me and let me know they weren't gonna make it.

I was incredibly happy with how my hair turned out at Jade Salon! Nikki did an amazing job! Nikki made sure to check in with me several times regarding the length I wanted my hair cut and the color I preferred. Which made me very happy because I have been to other salons in the past where they didn't really check in with me while they were cutting/coloring my hair. She was very patient and she did her best to make sure that not only was I comfortable, but that my boyfriend who came with me to the salon was comfortable as well. She had great music on and she even put on a couple of TV shows to keep us entertained while she did my hair! She also did her best to educate me on how to take care of my hair in the future and which products would help keep my hair healthy and strong. I would 100% recommend Jade Salon to anyone that needs their hair done! (:

I was nervous going to a new hair stylist. Nikki made me feel comfortable and talked me through my options for the style I was looking for. I love my new look. I called my niece right away and recommended Jade Salon and Nikki. I look forward to my next haircut.

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I came in from San Ysidro around noon thinking I had an appointment at 12:30 pm that day like the automated messages I recieved from theid website constantly said and reminded me- like, OK. I ended up waiting an hour outside of the establishment with no response. I texted the facebook account this place uses to market itself, I called them on the phone, hoping I could get some response to a few questions I had but I did not recieve a single one. I waited outside for an hour and a half and no one got back to me. It wasn't until around 3 pm that I heard back from someone saying if I could text them back at some number they provided and that they were finally able to see me. After 2 hours of not saying anything. You need to have customer service top of mind when responding to comments, posts & messages- (keyword, respond) not let customers believe the Facebook's automatic booking system if you're just going to make them wait hours outside and schedule them at whatever time you want without informing them of the changes. I'd say get rid of the whole facebook "booking" system since it's lazy and unprofessional but I think it suits the management and operating of this place pretty well.

Jade Salon is an Amazing studio. The owner is so kind and very knowledgeable. So comfortable to find a place in San Diego that knows how to cut, style, treat ethnic hair and skin. Also you can do karaoke while getting your spa day on 🤍 I love that she is well trained on the Yuko, Milbon and many other products used to straighten and smooth frizzy hair 🙌🏽

This is the spot to get your hair done!! The inside is extremely clean with a nice set up. The atmosphere is chill. The wait is no longer than 10 to 15 mins, which is a reasonable wait time. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Nikki was my stylist who dyed my hair. She was fun, entertaining, and great to have conversation with. She did a great job with my hair. I only trust some people with my hair. She knew exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be more happier with the result. I walked away happy and I will for sure return.

I came into the salon wanting to be able to tame my frizzy, easily tangled hair (I have a LOT of hair). At first I was thinking about a Brazilian blowout but Nikki recommended a new way of straightening/smoothing unmanageable hair and recommended Pura Luxe. I didn't know what it was but wanted to give it a try and I loved the results. After the treatment my hair is so much easier to maintain and it never felt so smooth. She is also one of the only people in San Diego to be certified by the company to do this treatment other than further up north (mostly LA area). I'm glad I chose this and would definitely come back. (She did not dye or cut my hair only treatment so please mind the weird coloring/cut). AMAZING results. Thanks Nikki!

It's hard to fall in love with a salon and hairdresser. But Nikki the owner of jade Has over exceeded my expectations. She is incredibly talented at balayage. The salon is elegant and was rated the best salon in San Diego by Omnia. She is definitely worth a try.

I’ve been going to Nikki for my hair for as long as I can remember and she never disappoints. Today I got a hair cut for a great price and great service. Nikki is super friendly and knows so much about hair with her 28 years of experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I’ve been to this Salon three times. Twice for hair and the third time for nails. Nikki is excellent, she has great attention to detail. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend family and friends to her. I will definitely be returning to her. Maggie did a great job with my nails. I enjoyed my conversation with her. She’s good company. I went to her after a bad experience with another nail salon and she was able to fix them and leave them in a way that I can enjoy. Will continue to go there. 😁

My hair stylist was name Nikki, I’m so happy I meet her. She was very nice right when I walked through the door. She offered me coffee and she even let me bring my two month old baby girl along. I felt at home like she was my friend. She is very experience in what she does and the outcome of my hair was amazing. My hair was healthy and shiny after my appointment.
