Very ghetto. Did not do my locs properly. My locs were coming out the next day with me having to go elsewhere to do my hair. The girl did not wash my locs as she was suppose to and my hair was dirty and disgusting. You can’t even call the shop to speak to the owner because she is never there. Been calling for a refund and still to no avail. I will never come there again. Very rude and ghetto.

My son had an appointment last Saturday at 12 PM. They had me pay a deposit. I went over there. They had a full house. It was after 12 PM my son texted me saying they still haven’t seen him. I went over there and asked for a deposit so I can bring my son somewhere else. They s Talking about aid they will not refund my deposit. She told me she didn’t ask my son to stay longer but yet she had a full house past 12 PM. My son still sitting in the back waiting. They thought I was gonna argue with them over a $50 deposit. I took my son and left.

Most definitely have found my new fav salon. The ladies there are amazing, and being my first time, I felt a little worried about how I would like my hair. I'm not picky, but get me right, and that's what my stylist did. I have gotten so may compliments. I was also offered snacks and a drink, which I appreciated. I wish I knew my girl name but goes to show all of them are amazing and I'm saying that because everyone's work was on point so any stylist would get the job done. LOVED IT AND WILL BE BACK. they even have oils and that detox soap ain't no joke, a must. Update!!!!!! Went back for the second time and my apologies I won't be returning. Not to say I'm discrediting my first time. So I would say you can go and be you're own judge it's worth a try.

I ordered the Crown Hair Oil, Miss Her hair mist, and the Black Wombman hair mist on 8/2. I received my order on 8/5!!! This was my first time ordering the hair oil mist and baby it won't be the last!!! Both smell soooo good! I'm going to order more and include some for my teen sons who are loc'd as well. This is my 2nd time ordering the Crown Hair oil. Products are amazing and the customer service is top tier!!! Jus Locs Organics has a lifelong customer in me and my family!!! Much love and respect!

This is by far, the best experience for loccing my hair that I’ve ever had in my entire life! Unfortunately , they have forced me to go elsewhere. They used to make me feel at home… and above all things:.. the styling and the crafting that they do is beyond amazing… more than stupendous!!!A1 for sure!!! I’ve been blocked from service and I do not know why… I went in on a day that I was in the area to get two of the stylists instagram handles (just so I could give them some free promo for their work via tagging them on ‘Boosted Reels’) , the stylist that I spoke to calmly said “ we can’t. It against policy” to which I replied.. ‘ok have a nice day’. Couple days later, I was blocked from their IG account… I tried to book with them through various different ways via Goldie app… to which I start incurring errors that I’ve never experienced before… then I changed the client name to my old name. Booking went through, Then they cancelled it…. No explanation…

I had an amazing experience. Booking was super easy and I was seen as soon as I walked in for my appointment. The young ladies that work there are super sweet and are amazing at what they do. Literally every part of my service was amazing from the wash to the style. I will definitely be returning.

First of all, customer service is horrible. For a first-time customer I felt uncomfortable and I sat in a chair for about an hour and 30 minutes waiting for my 12:15 appointment. My time is precious. When I asked the lady about the refund she said it didn't work that way mind you I was there on time waiting for an hour and 30 minutes without my hair being washed or even being spoken to about how long the wait will be.Their attitudes are horrible and there we're polite.

I got a retwist here while visiting New York and everyone was really nice! The atmosphere was great and the service was high and I had a really good time being in the salon. I'm really happy with how my hair looks, plus everyone getting their hair done looked great. If I lived in ny I would 100% go back

Let me tell you, my entire experience from when I first opened the door to the salon was awesome. It’s beautiful inside. It’s CLEAN & relaxing. The owner and staff are very kind, welcoming and “professional”. Greeted me with contagious smiles that lit the place up. I got both of my children hair done. Their hair was so clean and styled so very nice! We were in and we were out. I left there so very satisfied and just happy! I had to hug the owner! And guess what, I am next to get my hair done! This place is a whole vibe! I am soooo happy that I found this place!

I did my hair about one or two years ago at jasmine house of locs to do my hair in instant locs with my mom and then one of the worker in charge told me i my mom couldn't stay so i went outside with my mom and something inside of me told me to leave. And I said to myself I will stay and do My hair . I told the worker in charge i was going to do my hair in instant locs and i was told that my hair was too short to do instant locs so I said okay I will put locs extension and one of the worker that was in charge told me it was 8 hundred and something dollars. So the worker in charge and another worker did my hair. Some of my locs was big and small and I was charge 900 and something dollars for my hair. Big and small extension.now looking at my hair i regretted not listening to the voice in my head that I should have walked away.i know when some thing is done right and when it's not. I does be miserable.

The owner has a nasty attitude and gossip with her staff while doing hair. So unprofessional. So you as a business owner decides to respond to my review with that attitude just proves how nasty that you are. I see you mentioned in a previous comment that you have been a hairstylist for 18 years and by that you should know better. But nevertheless, you don’t. You are instead a very disrespectful human and you can only get away with this nasty attitude in the Black community because we are the only race that will continue to give you business while accepting your mediocre attitude. You sit there with your staff and just talk about the clients in your chair as if they are not humans. You are so judgmental. People don’t come to your shop to be judged. They come for a service. They pair you their hard earned money and you should provide the service and keep it moving. The back & forth is unnecessary. And honestly, because there was a child involved, maybe I should report you to the authorities, the Better business bureau and so forth. You are just ridiculous. Take this as a way to improve that nasty attitude. None of your good reviews have anything good to say about good customer service. Every review might talk about the hair they like but never about any good customer service from your place. Please don’t start with the improper grammar and low level “Queen” or “Blessings” nonsense.

Got loc extensions two years ago from here. I asked for smaller locs, she agreed then when I paid the non refundable deposit she switched and said everyone gets the same size which is ridiculous. I told I don’t want 0.6 size loc but 0.4. When the day came she was extremely rude and short tempered. She also went against my wishes and put 0.6 locs in the back and the 0.4 on top to make it seem I had that 0.4 size all over. On top of her trying play me for a fool, the middle part has 4 locs on one side and 5 on the other making it look very uneven because she didn’t plan my parts a head of time.There was also another girl on my head was inexperienced with extensions so the parting she did in on my left looks janky. Another thing the hair she use to make the extensions is very brittle and breaks by itself over time. They played with my head and I tried to make it work for two years because of the amount of money I paid, but honestly I should take this set out and go to someone else who more experienced, attentive and respectful.

I got referred here by a friend who been coming for many years. Jahzin and all her staff are amazing. Jahzin is well knowledgeable about her craft when it comes to hair care. I wanted to split my locks and she told me why i shouldn’t and from that conversation i was like ight cool. As she was doing my hair im in my head saying this my new home. I will recommend this place to everyone. Yes i was seen on time

I love coming to get my hair done at jahzin, I've been coming to her salon for years now, by a friend who had referred me and ever since I've never left or went to no other place. I even referred my ex and friends to her salon and they love going there they even talk about her products how they love it and enjoyed her service everytime. l love the way she treat and take care of me with such care is amazing. The service and the employees are amazing, there fun and it always laugher, good vibes in the salon and always clean, very calming atmosphere. Now her products are a different story,like when I tell you it's all natural and healthy, it helps my hair grow long and become healthier!!!! 💪 🙏♥️⭐

I will start off by saying the customer service is very poor. My daughter had a 1pm appt it was 2:33pm and she haven't been attended to yet. I called the salon to asked the status and how long it would be before my daughter can get her hair done, the female that first answered the phone was very rude saying “well there’s people before her” her attitude wasn’t called for. There’s a phrase “it’s not what you say it’s how you say it” and it’s obvious they don’t care. I then asked to speak with the owner who came on the phone and not once did she apologize, instead made excuse “well it’s the holidays”. Even if it’s the holidays an appt was still booked. The appropriate thing was to apologize especially if you are running behind schedule or you are overbooked. All I wanted to know is how long it would take for my daughter to get her hair done, she then looked over her list and tell me she will have to wait a few more hours there is 6 people ahead of her. She then offered for me to get a refund or my daughter can continue to wait. I opted for a refund because with 6 people ahead of her I guess she’ll be there till God knows what time from a 1 pm appointment. I would never book an appointment there again and I would not recommend anyone to go there, and this review is based on customer service alone if I could give 0 stars I would. You and your staff can benefit from a customer service etiquette training class. Because I don’t see how you are behind on schedule and still want to give the customers attitude about it. Train your staff to be courteous. Kindness goes a long way. 1/3 Update: Called today because now she is refusing to give a refund even though she said she would on Saturday because she claims my above statement is lies. Little do you know Jahzin the conversation I had with you on Saturday was recorded and the conversation I just had with you was recorded as well. I BET YOU I GET MY REFUND BACK!!!! NOTHING ABOUT MY ABOVE STATEMENT CHANGES. ENROLL YOURSELF IN A CUSTOMER ETIQUETTE CLASS, YOU NEED IT!!

I’ve been to this shop several times and I must say I love it here. The owner and her employees are very professional. They know what they are doing are quick to offer you the best solution/Styles for your hair. She also offers her own soaps, oils, and hair scent sprays.

Jahzin House of locks is a phenomenal place to get your hair done. Jahzin and her staff prides on quality work. I travel from Cary, North Carolina to get my hair done at Jahzin House of Locks. Before coming to her, my Locs was dry, brittle and shedding. With her treatments and her products, I saw a vast amount of improvement. Such as the soften & moistness of my Locs while using her products Crown & Root oil, Sea moss and Aloe vera hair butter. I can Testify that they take pride in caring for your hair. I Came to have my Locs colored PLATINUM before proceeding with my request, she advised me of the risk in getting my Locs that color. Which gave me the option to proceed or not. So therefore, it’s not just about the money it’s also about the quality of your hair when you go to Jahzin House of locks. Jahzin and her staff are Quality and excellences at its best.

The first time I came to Jahzin’s House of locks I booked a consultation to figure out which route would be best for a color change. Jahzin informed me about all the important need to know information on how to grow and maintain healthy locs that I never knew. We spoke for almost an hour just going back and forth with questions and answers. Each of the stylists are very welcoming and kind to everyone who comes inside. I personally always have a great time when I book an appointment and I highly recommend booking your appointment as well.

This has been my current hair salon for the past 3yrs and I wouldn’t change them for the world. They are very reliable and I love their location. Booking can be done online or over the phone. They offer their own products such as oils, soaps, and hair scents. The girls in the shop are amazing with the styles and are very talented.

Went to jahzin house of locks for the first time on my bday and wasn’t disappointed 🙂 Keisha slayed my hair and as soon as I left the salon I started getting compliments on how beautiful my hair looked☺️knew I had to go back and I did go back today and Keisha did not disappoint me again🙂you definitely gain a new happy customer ✨
