I usually go to James. Hes by far the best person to cut hair. I had someone newer. Overall she didn't do a good job. All she cared about was a tip at the end. Live and learn ill wait for James. Plus james is personal and not awkward. Id rather pay and get better service.

Walked in for a haircut and was seen immediately. I believe it was Thanh who cut my hair and she gave me exactly the cut I requested and was efficient. Inexpensive & efficient. Great cut!

I've been taking my daughter to James for perms and haircuts for the last 4 times and so far we've been happy, James is the one that takes care of us. He listens and does what you need.

Decent rate but bad haircut. Did a very uneven hair cut with some hair long from somewhere and some hair very short. The person did not speak enough English to understand my concern and remediate it. He kept on giving some explanation with something that was difficult to understand.

Love this place to get a haircut I have been coming here for years whether it’s James or one of the lovely ladies I make sure to get taken care of. Even though I come in 3 month intervals they remember me, are friendly and know my vibe and hairstyle.

Definitely giving them a five stars rating, as I am impressed by how they cut my hair every time! They are a locally Asian-owned business and the heart of the Santa Teresa Valley, and honestly, one of the most affordable options that I could ever find in San Jose. The business is bustling with lots of Vietnamese people, but they are friendly and very helpful and asking you what kind of haircut you want… which I think is an awesome thing, because not many hair salons do that nowadays. They customize according to your needs, and at the same time, they give a sense of community. If you’re looking to do a last-minute haircut, I would definitely hit up James as he is awesome and efficient at cutting hair. The aunties at the salon are awesome as well. It’s worth a visit for many more times to come!

Called them at 6:40 to ask if they could do a haircut for my son that will be starting school tomorrow and they said they are closed. It’s clearly not 7 PM and they clearly don’t need business if they would send someone away. Lots of other options for haircuts, this business needs to get it together.
